General Hospital Daily YAPP Recap, October 29: Is Drew even capable of guilt?

Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on General Hospital

At this point on General Hospital, Drew is nothing but a caricature. There is nothing human about him, which makes him the worst kind of villain at all. While we know Sidwell is ruthless, we at least see a softer side with his son. When he thought he may have gotten Marco killed by setting fire to Charlie's, he was horrified and we saw his humanity. With Drew, there's nothing. The man uses his 10-year-old daughter as a bargaining chip, threatens teenagers, and throws old ladies in jail. You can't get much lower than that. Oh, who are we fooling? Of course, he can. He's Drew Cain and there is no bottom. Today, Drew listened to and watched an emotional Tracy shame Ronnie right in front of his eyes, telling her that she was dishonoring Monica's memory by selling the house to him. Did Drew even care? No, he rolled his eyes. It doesn't matter to him that this woman, whom he insisted was his mother (she wasn't), is dead. He's playing a dirty trick on her family just for kicks and giggles. He's a complete monster who is just angry that Monica left him out of her will. Drew is dishonoring Monica more than Ronnie is because he is taking pleasure in his actions, while Ronnie is torn apart. This character can't get his comeuppance soon enough, but we fear it will never happen.
