Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on General Hospital

Just when we finally thought we were getting somewhere with the slow burn (and we mean slooooowwww) romance that is Emma and Gio, but now we're back where Chase and Brook Lynn were a few years ago when they kissed for the first time. They refused to talk about it, tried to pretend it never happened, and then wondered if the other liked them in "that" way. So, basically, Chase and Brook Lynn reverted to their high school years, which is what Emma and Gio are now doing. Granted, Emma and Gio are a little closer to high school age than Chase and Brook Lynn, but it's still ridiculous that we waited this long for them to share their first kiss so they could then wonder if the other liked them in that special way. Really? Are we really doing this AGAIN, General Hospital? Why can't we have an actual romance rather than "Does she/he like me?" for months on end? So, Emma and Gio, let us help. Emma, Gio likes you. He couldn't wait to surprise you with the news that he found Outback. He kissed you. He has leaned on you for emotional support countless times since May. And Gio? Emma likes you. She kissed you. She invited you to live with her and her grandmother. She has been there for you through thick and thin. None of this is hard to deduce, so can we move on with things already? Hope we cleared that up.
