Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on General Hospital

Bravo, Nina Reeves! Give this woman a standing ovation for finally telling her dimwitted, ungrateful, delusional, selfish wench of a daughter the truth about herself. Truth bomb after truth bomb dropped as weeping Willow whined to her mother about Nina paying for a lawyer. The HORRORS! How DARE she do such a selfless and kind thing that any mother would do?!?! Nina might have been thinking the same (in that sarcastic tone of voice, too) as she just had it and WENT OFF in a way we haven't seen since Nina learned Little Miss Priss was her daughter. There was a time when Nina couldn't stand her own child, and with good reason. Remember when she called her "Little girl" when they had their brouhaha in the courtroom after Michael fabricated identity theft charges against Nina, and Willow told everyone that Amnesia Sonny had fallen for Nina? That energy was back today as Nina said everything the audience has been thinking about Reach Across the Ocean Willow since she began hero-worshipping a lying, smarmy, criminal politician who somehow survives every scandal. "You could find a freezer full of heads in his basement and still go on about how great he was," is likely one of the best lines we have ever heard on soaps. We've even imagined saying that to our friends, family members, and neighbors for the last 10 years. Will anything Nina said sink into her daughter's head? Likely not, but General Hospital fans sure loved hearing it.
