Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on General Hospital

So, Lulu stumbled upon a car accident, tried to help the driver, and ended up calling the police. Chase got to the scene and spent most of the episode questioning Lulu, who said multiple times that she could not see the driver's face. Then, by the end of the episode, he was brought into the ER. Lucas took one look at his new patient before his face went white as he nodded to Anna and Dante to walk over and see for themselves. They look down and see someone very familiar. We knew from a video with Ryan Paevey and Finola Hughes that Paevey would air on Friday, so we expected that when we saw his face, we could actually 100 percent figure out who he was. But if you're a fan who doesn't keep up on news and spoilers, you'd never know who that was because his face was covered by an oxygen mask. We're not even sure how Lucas recognized him so quickly, since he looked like any generic, decent-looking man in his late 30s/early 40s. Now, Nathan is not a generic man, but since his face was pretty concealed, he could have been one. Perhaps this was not the right way to introduce a character returning from the dead after seven years. And perhaps it shouldn't have been done at the end of an episode where the Quartermaines and hospital personnel had just learned Monica Quartermaine had died.
