General Hospital Daily YAPP Recap, September 2: Did Alexis and Kristina forget all about Ric?

Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on General Hospital

So, about a week ago, Ava, Kristina, and Alexis got together and tied Ric to a gurney in Alexis' basement and stuffed a ball gag in his mouth to shut him up. Is it still in his mouth a week later? It must, since absolutely nobody has heard Ric screaming, and it's been Grand Central Station at Alexis' house. She's just entertaining people without a care in the world. Sonny stopped in, and she didn't even flinch, knowing what she had done with the man's brother. But then again, Sonny didn't seem to care at all when he learned Ric had been in a car accident months ago. He'd probably help Alexis keep him down there. Then, Curtis popped in, and it didn't even faze Alexis one bit. They chatted for a while and didn't think about her ex-husband at all. When Kristina came home, she was curious where Alexis was, but didn't think that she might be checking on Ric in the basement to make sure he was still alive. It's like General Hospital and Alexis have both forgotten that Drew is down there, as everyone obsesses over Drew. But we want to see Ric's torture, or what's the point of him being down there? Come on, Alexis, we know you can walk and chew gum at the same time. We can do 'Who Shot Drew?' and 'Ric in the Basement' simultaneously.
