Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on General Hospital

Yes, we know Drew Cain has lost all sense this year and has become public enemy number one to the point where someone tried to take him out, but unfortunately, did very little damage. Rather than wake up paralyzed or with a new outlook on life, Drew is right back to plotting revenge against perceived enemies for wronging him — when nobody wronged him. He seethed to Marty that Michael took everything from him when Michael took nothing from him. It was Drew who took Michael's wife and has been trying to take his kids. Yet, he feels this unusual need to get revenge on someone who pretty much just wants to raise his kids and be left alone. And for him to think he is entitled to anything from Monica is bizarre. Yes, she did legally adopt him as an adult, but not long after that, he "died," and since he's been back, Drew didn't do much to endear himself to Monica. Instead, he slept with his nephew's wife in Monica's house and tried to bulldoze the crypt where her husband, son, and daughter were interned. Drew's sense of entitlement after all he did to the Q clan this year is downright deranged. Often, soap villains who want revenge actually have a reason for that vengeance. You can even somewhat understand their feelings. But not Drew, and that's what separates a cartoon villain from a complex one.
