General Hospital Daily YAPP Recap, September 9: Why is Drew fine

Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on General Hospital

One thing that General Hospital fans were waiting for with a 'Who Shot Drew?' story was getting a reprieve from Drew for a while. Sadly, we only got a mere three episodes. While we knew that GH was never going to kill the character off, a well-timed coma would have been nice. Maybe a little memory loss or paralysis? Nope. None of that. Instead, Drew is wide awake as smarmy, menacing, and just plain ewww as always. So, what was the point here? Was it just to have a shooting mystery to solve, since the shooting did absolutely no damage to the victim? Drew is already trying to pin the crime on Michael when he seems pretty convinced Michael did not do it. Did he really see who did it? His eyes were open for a few seconds after the first shot. Drew seemed to be looking up while recognizing his assailant before the second shot knocked him out cold. Did he get a good look? Was it Curtis, Willow, or someone else? Drew has inferred it was Curtis, but he seemed pretty anxious to see Willow as soon as he opened his eyes. He seemed to have a desperate need to talk to her. Is she really that obsessed with his nephew's ex-wife, or does he know something the rest of us do not? After all, why would she be the first person on his mind if it had nothing to do with the shooting?
