What happened on General Hospital

Monday’s episode began with Brad and Britt being hauled into the PCPD by Chase. He scolded both of them for not thinking more carefully, since they knew the consequences of their actions. However, Britt dismissed it as a misunderstanding and told Chase she planned to return and pay once she retrieved her credit card. They asked for their one phone call, and Chase left them to figure it out.
Britt was floored that Nina sent her straight to voicemail. She came up with another idea of whom she could call, so she urged Brad not to panic just yet.
Meanwhile, Danny, Jason, Molly, and Kristina dropped by Alexis’ house to decorate a Christmas tree. Alexis was too busy with Willow’s trial to get into the holiday spirit. Everyone knew how hard she worked on the trial, and they wanted her to embrace the holiday. She asked how Jason was roped into it, but he believed it was important to spend the occasion with family. Alexis remarked that Sam would’ve wanted everyone together.
Danny asked about Scout, and Alexis was hopeful that she’d eventually secure a way for him to see his sister. However, for now, things remained on ice with Drew preventing the siblings from connecting. The topic of Cody came up, and Jason told Molly he saw her witness Britt and Cody kissing at The Brown Dog. Jason explained to Molly that Britt was solely behind the kiss, and Cody wanted no part in it. Before they could continue the conversation, Jason received a call from Britt, who told him she was being held at the PCPD.
Alexis was having a difficult time locating someone who worked at the hospital, and all signs pointed ot Portia. Danny chimed in on Molly and Kristina’s conversation, and he got her to realize that Cody might not find that he was worth her time. Molly took this as a sign, and she left to find Cody and make things right.
At the Quartermaine estate, Tracy spent time at the stables and told Cody that the dog had stolen her glove. Cody wrangled the glove from the dog, but Tracy asked him to throw it out once she saw how gross it was. He recalled how the dog prevented Ronnie from singing the company over to Drew, and she wasn’t sold on the dog. Cody refused to believe that Tracy would ever force him to part ways with the dog.
Tracy underestimated the pressure of being in charge of the estate. She was responsible for the rest of Monica’s family, and it was her job to keep them together. Cody believed she was up for it, but Tracy acknowledged that there were loud voices that disagreed. She was stunned that he was involved with Molly, but Cody thought it was over before it ever got started. Tracy told him to fix it because Molly was a good catch.
Cody listed off all of Molly’s admirable traits, and he worried that she was no longer interested in him. He invited her to a night out at a bar, and she never showed up. After walking Tracy to the main house, Molly arrived, and Cody was stunned to see her. He asked why she was there, and she responded with a passionate kiss in the snowfall. Cody responded with a kiss of her own.
At the Metro Court, Nina demanded to know why Ava summoned her there and ordered her to “cut the crap.” Ava was concerned about losing her friendship with Nina. She believed they fought too hard to maintain it, but Nina was still upset about Ava spilling the beans about Portia. Ava defended her stance, saying she warned Portia, whom she threw under a bus. She said she’d do the same if the situation were reversed.
Britt called Nina, but Nina ignored it. Nina continued to defend her stance on Portia, committed to doing whatever it took to keep Willow out of prison. Ava thought their defensive nature made them similar. Still, Nina didn’t appreciate Ava’s recent blindside. She knew she and Portia would never be friends again, but she was hopeful that she and Ava could repair their relationship. Ava agreed to remain in her corner, and she thought there was still a chance to salvage the friendship with Portia.
Also at the Metro Court, Jordan and Curtis met up to discuss the charges against him for Drew’s shooting being dropped by the PCPD. She was surprised that they proceeded against Willow rather than prosecuting him. Due to new evidence against Willow, they were left with no choice but to cut Curtis loose. On another subject, Curtis addressed Trina’s recently increased hostility toward Jordan.
Curtis didn’t believe Jordan was responsible for the demise of his marriage, so he wasn’t too concerned about Trina. He wanted to make things clear to Trina that, despite the divorce, he’d be an active father to the unborn child. However, there was no need for the parents to remain together to be loving parents. Curtis didn’t cheat on Portia, but that didn’t change the fact that Trina believed they had an affair. Regardless, Jordan didn’t see a way for the relationship to work, given Trina's vehement opposition.
Jordan knew it wasn’t fair, but Portia’s current condition made her the “injured” party. She thought it would be best to call it quits and save everyone from the potential drama. He refused to give up on what they could be together, and he was committed to making it work.
Elsewhere, Portia, still on bedrest, got a text from Trina. Isaiah noticed that she was a little emotional and asked if everything was alright. He asked what was going on, and she told him she got a text from Trina, and she was concerned about losing her daughter once the lies unraveled. Portia was stuck in her head about the baby because if the child was Isaiah’s, she was nervous about Trina’s reaction.
Isaiah didn’t think there was a genuine issue. She recalled how Trina reacted to Curtis moving on with Jordan, so she figured it would be the same for her and Isaiah. He wanted her to stress less because it wasn’t good for the baby. He asked her to remove everyone from the equation and asked her to think about the pregnancy solely from her own perspective. She viewed it as a surprise blessing, and although she was happy about the baby, she was scared. There were a slew of things that could go wrong, and his focus was on a safe pregnancy and a stable future.
There was a knock at the door, and it was someone serving Portia with a subpoena to attend the defense in Willow’s trial.
Back at Trina’s apartment, Gio stopped by with a Christmas tree because she wasn’t able to haul it up to her place by herself. Emma dropped by as well, and she was surprised to see Gio at Trina’s since he had plans to spend the holiday with his father and brother. Gio was still planning to attend because Dante made the first effort, so he could return the favor.
Later, Jason showed up at the PCPD after receiving Britt’s call, and he agreed to help her, but he refused to bail Brad out of the ordeal. Brad accused Jason of being judgmental, and he insisted that she couldn’t rely on him. He was gone for quite a while, but Chase returned and revealed that Jason had paid for everything, and they were free to go.
Lulu expressed her worries about the holiday to Sonny and Laura because Dante and Gio would be in a tight space, for the first time since their recent tension, and she needed their help to prevent any fights from breaking out. Laura believed Rocco sticking by his brother and not naming him during the investigation was admirable. Laura and Sonny promised to help get Rocco and Gio on better terms with their father, which was precisely whom Lulu was more worried about.
Laura and Sonny told Dante that they were serving as a grandparent buffer to thaw some of the tension. Once they were alone, Dante thanked Lulu for bringing them in, so he could have a better shot at a civil experience with Gio. Shortly after, Gio arrived at Lulu’s for the special occasion, and everyone was happy to see him. Before he got settled, Rocco found an excuse to get Gio outside, so they could talk.
Lulu pleaded with Dante to give the brothers a little bit of space. She told him not to be the “porch police.” She didn’t want him to get in the way of the brothers' bonding.
Laura pulled Sonny aside, and they agreed to play along with Sidwell, so nobody would get caught in the crossfire. They wanted Sidwell to get comfortable enough to give them a moment to strike. Gio and Rocco reentered the home, and Rocco thanked everyone for their support during his recent crisis. He apologized to Luara for potentially costing her election.
Laura spoke to Charlotte about Valentin, touted his love for her, and promised Charlotte that everything would work itself out. Rocco and Dante also reached a sort of truce, which Lulu described as a Christmas miracle.
