At the Port Charles Grill, Ava met with Trina and told her that her Christmas bonus was coming in the form of a painting. Trina wanted her to hold onto it in case she needed it financially, but Ava insisted she take it. Trina said she’d hold onto it for her instead.
Trina saw Kai walk by and sit at the bar. She went to him and found out he was avoiding an event downstairs as he wasn’t comfortable with all of the schmoozing required. She waited while a man brought his son over for a photo. When he told him to come back downstairs, Kai was going to comply, but Trina interrupted and said that he needed to help her with a project first. Once alone, Trina offered to sneak Kai out through the service elevator and they ran off.
At Bobbie’s, Josslyn told Jason that she still didn’t know if Dex had been targeted or not. She thought it could have been Sonny, but after talking to him on Christmas, she didn’t believe he was behind it. Jason agreed and noted that he didn’t think it was one of Sonny’s men trying to impress him, either. Jason promised to look into it and find out what he could to help Joss get closure.
Michael went to see Diane and told him about the situation. He gave every detail, from Willow kissing Drew six months ago to the nanny cam tape playing on the TV in front of everyone. “Tracy has never been good with technology. Okay…reactions?” Diane asked. Michael told her what everyone said and did after the video played. Diane didn’t like that Nina and Willow took the kids and thought that Martin would spin the video into Michael being vindictive.

Diane noted that although Michael was hoping for reconciliation or an amicable split, Nina had the resources to drag things out. Diane told Michael she was all in but wanted to know how far he was willing to go. Michael wanted his family back but if it wasn’t possible, he didn’t want the kids taken from him or Willow, either. He said he’d do whatever it took to stay in their lives. Michael signed the paperwork, and Diane told him she’d contact Martin. She warned Michael to give her full transparency and suggested that if there was anything else she should know, she should say it now or face her wrath. Michael said he needed to make a phone call real quick.
Maxie noticed Sasha looking at houses while waiting to get their nails done at Marta & Chloe. She shared that she intended to move back to the Hamptons to start fresh with the baby. Maxie asked Sasha to tell the family about the baby before she left, but she said she wouldn’t. “The more people who know, the harder it will be to leave,” Sasha explained. Maxie wondered if it had to do with the baby's father and why Sasha hadn’t told her anything about him.
Sasha insisted her moving had nothing to do with the father. She told Maxie it wasn’t an easy decision to leave but that Maxie was making it easier on her by the way she was handling it. “Really? That’s not usually my M.O.,” Maxie quipped. As they got their nails done, Michael called Sasha. He asked if they could meet and said it was important.
Emma started her day by lying to Anna. She’d gone out overnight and hadn’t talked to her mom like she claimed. Anna told Emma she knew she’d been expelled and hadn’t transferred to PCU. Emma insisted the reason behind the expulsion wasn’t her fault. She’d invited 10 people to a dorm party, and half the dorm showed up. Someone set off the sprinklers, which did major damage to the building, and 200 students were displaced, but it wasn’t her who did that. She just took the blame for it.
Anna told her that she was going to unsign whatever lease she claimed to have and live with her instead. If she didn’t, she’d put her on a plane back to California. Emma wasn’t happy about that arrangement and left to get a coffee. She passed Jason on her way out.
Jason told Anna about Lulu going to Prague to find Charlotte and said Dante was arriving right behind her. Anna was very concerned that Lulu was being followed and that she would lead someone right to Valentin and Charlotte.
At Bobbie’s, Josslyn saw Brennan and went to his table. She asked him for a favor: to pull the satellite images of the park the day that Dex was stabbed. Brennan told her they were only kept for 48 hours, so he couldn’t help her.
Emma came into Bobbie’s and was surprised to find Joss working there. She explained that her family owned it now and changed the name, then asked if she could get Emma a coffee to go. Emma said she was going to take it away originally, but since seeing Josslyn, she wanted to stay and catch up.
Emma said that she had seen on socials that Cam had been in town and made sure to point out that she had seen him many times as their universities weren’t far from each other. Emma added that she had introduced Cam to Gretchen and that she was amazing.
When Brennan left, he came to thank Josslyn for the good food and service. Joss introduced him to Anna’s granddaughter and noted to Emma that Anna and Brennan used to work together. Outside, Brennan called someone and told them to pull and destroy all the footage of Rice Park from December 10th
Martin called a mysterious meeting for Laura and Alexis at her office. Before he got there, Alexis and Laura caught up. Alexis thanked Laura for her generous donation to the hospital in Sam's name. Martin came in and said that the Cassadine estate had been revised. Ace was now the heir, and Alexis was the trustee. Laura didn’t want Ace to have anything and said he had enough money. Alexis said she never wanted to hear the term “Cassadine estate” ever again. Laura and Alexis agreed she should liquidate the estate and give the funds to charity.
Martin told them it wasn’t that easy. He said once Ace was of age, he could decide he didn’t want any of it, but until then, they had to take care of his estate. Laura was at least relieved that Alexis was handling it and trusted she cared about Ace. Alexis begrudgingly signed the paperwork but noted that there was a mistake. She pointed out that Wyndermere had been included as part of the estate but that it belonged to Ava. “Not anymore,” Martin said. “Why, Martin, you should have led with that!” Alexis said, delighted.
Lulu waited at Cafe Serendipity for Charlotte for so long that she thought she had the wrong place. She confirmed with a server but then noticed Charlotte in the window. When she came inside, they hugged, and Lulu couldn’t believe how much Charlotte had grown. Lulu knew she had to keep it brief.
Lulu and Charlotte caught up on family and her liver transplant. Charlotte wished she had been there when Lulu woke up but said her papa had needed her. She told Lulu she was staying in a remote village outside Prague, but they traveled a lot. “Papa says he wants me to see the world, but I think it might be to throw off whoever is following us,” Charlotte added.
Lulu told Charlotte that she needed her to come home, but Charlotte said she couldn’t leave Valentin as he would be devastated alone. Lulu didn’t want to guilt trip her but said that being separated from Charlotte was killing her. Charlotte knew how she felt and said that the hardest part of being away was being apart from her mom. Lulu told her that when she woke up and found out she was gone, it broke her heart. “He’s a fugitive. What kind of life is that for you?” Lulu asked.
Charlotte said that she and her papa had a great life together, so Lulu told her she was happy for her daughter. She asked Charlotte to get a cake for them to share at the counter. While she stepped away, Lulu placed a tracking device in Lulu’s purse. Charlotte came back, and they were chatting when Lulu saw Charlotte's face change to fear. Lulu looked behind her, and saw Valentin staring at them through the window.
Next time on General Hospital
Elizabeth demands to be told everything or threatens to walk out of the hospital.
“Enjoying your visit with your mother?” Valentin asks coldly.
Kristina snaps, “That’s so unbelievably disrespectful to Sam’s memory!”
“It’s going to be an all-out war,” Sonny warns Alexis.
“I didn’t know who else to turn to, and I’m hoping you can help me,” Ava says to Laura.
