As Nina knocked on the door to the bridal room, she was unaware that Curtis had already stopped by and told Willow about her and Drew sleeping together. When Nina entered, Willow immediately asked if she and Drew had had an affair. Nina fumbled, but when Willow pressed, she had to admit she slept with Drew from April until August — at the same time, Willow was falling in love with him.

Willow was apoplectic as she continued to question Nina, who explained she’d convinced herself that she could try to save Willow’s marriage to Michael if she lured Drew away from her. Willow blamed Nina for letting her fall deeper in love with Drew and staying silent as she threw away her marriage and her children for a man Nina knew was lying to her.

Nina pointed out how many times she warned Willow she wasn’t in a healthy relationship and asked her to acknowledge that it got to a point where she couldn’t say one bad thing about Drew without Willow jumping all over her. When Nina said she tried everything to get her away from Drew, Willow told her she tried every way but one and claimed she would have left Drew in a heartbeat and still had her kids had she known the truth.

Nina continued to try to defend herself by telling Willow how afraid she was of losing her and, now, wanted to do anything she could to make it right. Not having it, Willow told Nina she lied and betrayed her with Drew, as well as helped to lose custody of her children, which she could never forgive her for.

As Nina continued to apologize and beg not to be shut out, Willow reflected on going against her instincts to give Nina a chance in the first place and realized their relationship over the past year was never real because it was built on lies. She told Nina, “You could have saved me from all that heartbreak. All you had to do was tell me the truth,” and, now, because of her silence, she’d lost everything.

Willow said she’d burned every bridge and sacrificed everything for a man who had been lying to her for their entire relationship, and now he was all she had left. When Nina begged her to try to understand her position, Willow said, “I understand that you weren’t cut out to be a mother. Maybe because your own mother was a total nightmare. But, you don’t have a maternal bone in your body. I envy Nell. She died never knowing you were her mother. I wish I’d been so lucky.” She finally told her to get the hell out.

In shock, Willow sat and recalled some of the key moments with Drew from the past year. Apparently, she went on to get dressed to go through with the wedding, though.

Earlier, Drew and Kai arrived at the church to find Elizabeth reviewing final preparations. Alexis and Scout arrived. Shortly after, Liesl approached Drew in the chapel and expressed her reservations about the wedding by telling him, “I will always appreciate how you rescued me in Greenland so I could save Willow’s life. But, to steal that naive young woman from your own nephew – I would say your hero status is a bit tarnished now, wouldn’t you agree?” Elizabeth hurried Liesl away before Drew could respond.

Later, Ric surprised Elizabeth in the vestibule when he showed up. As he was flirting and asking for a friendly dance at the reception, Ava walked up and quickly walked away. Liesl said Ava looked like she drank “sour milk” and told her, if it helped, there would be an open-bar at the reception. Ric approached Ava later, but her response was chilly and a bit caustic. The remaining guests, including wedding-phobic Martin, arrived.

Ava asked Alexis for a meeting in the future, just the two of them, at her office. As Lucy told everyone to take their seats, Nina ran in to ask Liesl to leave with her. When Nina told her there wouldn’t be a wedding, Elizabeth entered to let everyone know that the bride was ready.

Scout dropped the flower petals as she walked down the aisle, and then, Willow appeared in her wedding dress, ready to walk down the aisle with a disillusioned and disassociated stare.

Lucas followed Carly to her office at the Metro Court to finish their “conversation”. Carly felt they should cool off before either of them said something else they might regret. He apologized for going too far when he brought up Morgan, but said the point he was trying to make was that her loyalty to Sonny had only brought her heartache and grief.

Carly did not want to be lectured by him and said she didn’t agree with everything he was saying. When she defended Sonny, Lucas said he was a mobster who had done terrible things and kidnapped Marco. She reiterated her opinion about Sidwell being the one who put his son at risk when he started the fire at Charlie’s that could have killed Kristina. He acknowledged Sidwell was wrong, but said Sonny was equally wrong and he could no longer excuse Sonny’s actions like she could.

As they continued to argue, Lucas even questioned Sonny’s version of events that led to his father’s (Julian) death and continued to chastise Carly for always defending Sonny. Carly felt that because Lucas was so wrapped up in the newness of his relationship with Marco, he was willing to throw out his long-standing family relationships, but he felt she had been living in Sonny’s world way too long, and he refused to be a part of it.

Meanwhile, Marco and Sonny talked in his Metro Court hotel room. Marco was a bit indignant about Sonny telling him to stay out of his way after everything he’d just put him through. Sonny reiterated that his problem was with Sidwell, not Marco, and gave his word not to touch him as long as he stayed out of his father’s business. Sonny said being a lawyer for his father’s legitimate business wasn’t a problem, but it would be better if he did it from far away, and suggested he move back to Miami.

Marco said he had no intentions of moving back to Miami and did not think it was fair that he would be at risk simply because he had a relationship with his father. Sonny reminded him that Port Charles had been his home, where he raised his kids, and Sidwell was the one who moved there to cause all kinds of trouble. Marco admitted he would not have moved if he knew what he was walking into, but now, he’s created a life there and is not willing to give it up. “Well, I guess we’re gonna have to figure out a way to peacefully coexist”, Sonny responded.

Sonny said everyone seemed to think he was responsible for Natalia’s death and asked Marco if he was one of them. Marco said he initially blamed Sonny and even told the cops he was responsible, but now he realized it wasn’t so simple. Sonny told him he was very fond of Natalia and didn’t want anything bad to happen to her, but the police put her in an unfortunate position.

Marco wished she had just taken the deal from Turner, but acknowledged she had often dealt with her pressure by drinking too much and, this time, she mixed it with pills. He told Sonny he may not be his biggest fan, but he knew Sonny didn’t put the pills in her hand. When Sonny asked if he thought she did it on purpose, Marco didn’t think so, saying, “My mother was a lot of things, but suicidal wasn’t one of them.”

Sonny said he owed Natalia a lot because she helped him out quite a bit, and wanted Marco to know his mother loved him very much and regretted being estranged from him for so long. After Lucas left Carly’s office, he went to Marco’s room to find Sonny still there. Sonny remarked that he had said his piece and was going to leave, but Lucas accused him of coming to intimidate Marco. He told Lucas he didn’t want any trouble with him, but Lucas threatened a very UNintimidated Sonny that he would go to the police if he touched Marco again.

When Sonny left, Lucas wanted Marco to go to the police to add his interaction with Sonny to his statement, but Marco let him know he never actually gave a statement. He explained not wanting to say anything about Sonny to the police because he claimed (he was lying) he didn't want to get dragged any further into his father’s and Sonny’s situation.

After leaving Marco’s room, Sonny went to Carly’s office to ask what was going on with Lucas. Sonny told her she needed to keep Lucas in line and questioned if she had ever told him anything that Lucas could use against him. Having to deal with Lucas being mad at her for her loyalty to Sonny and Sonny questioning her loyalty finally led Carly to snap. “You two are driving me crazy”, she said.

They calmly talked. Sonny didn’t want to cause problems between Carly and Lucas. As she was saying that she felt things would calm down and be okay, Lucas walked back in to give her the key to her house and let her know he was moving out.

Before the wedding, Lucy visited Sidwell at Wyndermere. She was preparing to officiate and asked if he would like to attend the event with her. Sidwell declined her invitation, telling her he was cutting ties with Congressman Cain for his son’s safety. Lucy continued to fall for Sidwell’s ruse of being a decent man and believed him when he said he wanted a peaceful coexistence with Sonny.

Unbeknownst to Lucas, Marco left the hotel to visit his dad. He let Sidwell know that he didn’t want to stay out of it anymore and wanted to help do whatever it took to get Sonny Corinthos to go.

Kristina ran into Cody at the Metro Court pool. He was taking a day off from their Ava seduction project, but let her know that Ric and Ava were on shakier ground after his sly efforts at the art exhibit. Kristina met with Michael when he arrived, and Cody went over to sit by Molly, who was on a chaise, reading a book.

Molly was wrapped “like a mummy” for sun protection and reading War and Peace, but she began to relax and loosen up when she and Cody talked and flirted for a bit. As she was putting on sunscreen, Cody asked her to put some on his back.

Sitting at a table by the window, Kristina and Michael were talking about Willow when she noticed Molly and Cody looking quite cute and flirty. Kristina asked Michael to go distract Cody so she could talk to Molly.

Kristina cautioned Molly about sending signals that she was interested in Cody and reminded her that Cody had a history of trying to seduce beautiful, rich women. Without irony, she told Molly there was nothing worse than getting close to someone and then realizing they had an agenda. Molly assured Kristina there was zero chance Cody was seducing her for her money.

After they were done talking to Molly and Cody, Kristina thanked Michael for helping her, but he wanted to know why she was trying to come between Molly and a guy who liked her. Cody brought Molly a drink and asked her to finish putting the sunscreen on his back, but now Molly looked at him more suspiciously.
