Willow was still talking with Michael in the Quartermaine solarium. After asking to see the kids again, she stopped herself and said she didn’t come to make demands, but to apologize. He was a bit surprised to hear her admit she was completely wrong about Drew. Michael acknowledged her feelings for Drew were sincere and was sorry Drew wasn’t sincere with her.

Willow admitted to building her relationship with Drew around thinking he was honest. She said she believed him over everyone else and, when he gave advice, she took it. When she expressed her disbelief of how “stupid” she was, Michael told her Drew manipulated her in more ways than she knew.

He went on to let her know he never instructed anyone to not let her visit him in Germany and would have loved to see her and hear about the kids. It took a minute for Willow to finally conclude it was Drew who kept her from seeing Michael that day. They both agreed that, if they would have been able to talk then, they would have been able to figure out what was best for their kids. Trying to capitalize on the moment, Willow said they were in the same room now and asked if they could figure out what to do about the kids together.

Michael said it was too late to figure out things just between them because the court was involved now. When he made it clear he planned to follow the court’s instructions, Willow’s calm demeanor began to disappear. She accused him of only following the court’s rules because it got him everything he wanted. As she began to desperately beg him again, he admitted he didn’t want the kids to see her.

Before hearing him out, she defaulted into telling him he got what he wanted and asking how much longer he was going to punish her. He said he was not punishing her but was trying to do what was best for his kids and, right now, she was not good for them. Willow began to spiral more, but Michael tried to explain she wasn’t thinking like a parent right now and needed time to heal from her betrayal. She didn’t listen and, instead, told him she would never forget he turned her away when she was just begging for a chance to see her children.

It was the morning rush at Anna’s apartment. She was on the phone while Emma looked for her charger in the couch cushions and Gio was making coffee and toast. As Emma and Gio’s conversation interfered with Anna’s phone call, Outback came out with her lease wanting to be walked.

Flustered, Anna, who had been used to living on her own for years, told them they needed to have a house meeting tonight as well as develop a schedule for walking Outback (who, technically, was not allowed in the building). Emma said she’d be helping Professor Dalton which concerned Anna. Dante walked up as Gio opened the door to leave.

They had a very brief and awkward conversation before Gio and Emma left. Anna tried to make Dante feel better by telling him that he and Gio actually had a lot in common. They talked a bit about Gio and then Rocco. He filled her in on Rocco finding out about Britt and reaching out to Liesl. Worried, he told Anna that Rocco was “just looking at us differently and there is this level of uncertainty that’s never existed before”. Between Rocco and Gio, Dante felt he had all the uncertainty he could handle.

They moved on to talk about Dalton. Dante found out the woman who Joss placed the tracker on (Greta, the courier) was taken to the airport by a Metro Court vehicle and Anna said Dalton was also staying at the Metro Court. Anna gave Dante the background information about Emma being kicked out of her former university for breaking into Dalton’s lab, etc. and the two worked to piece everything together. Ultimately, Anna said she worried Emma was going to get herself into a situation she couldn’t get out of. Dante vowed to do whatever he could do to help.

Aunt Stella came to visit Curtis at his Aurora office. She wanted to know why Trina and Kai broke up, but Curtis said he was staying out of it. Stella said she would try to respect their privacy but felt breaking up was a huge mistake on both of their parts.

Not sharing the whole truth, Curtis told her there was no cheating involved but Trina and Kai had differing views and a very important subject. In typical Aunt Stella fashion, she wanted to intervene and do “a little repair matchmaking.” They left for the Metro Court pool.

At Elizabeth’s house, Drew just figured out it was Curtis who told Willow the truth about him and Nina sleeping together. Drew said, now, his only priority was to reunite Willow and her children. Elizabeth caught him off guard when she said the most helpful thing he could do would be to leave Willow alone. Jason knocked at the door.

Drew immediately thought Jason was following him and trying to stop him from seeing Willow but, of course, he was wrong. When, for the millionth time, Drew claimed he was just trying to help Willow, Jason said, “Willow is being kept from Wiley and Amelia because you ripped her family apart. And, now she’s stuck picking up the pieces of a life that you destroyed.”

After Drew left, Jason asked Elizabeth for a favor. He wanted to look at the General Hospital records which showed the disposition of bodies from the morgue. He didn’t tell her about Britt, but promised it had nothing to do with Sonny’s business and no one would find out she helped him.

She called up the database on her computer and left because she had “laundry to do”. Jason found Britt was pronounced dead on 1/4/23 and her body was released to Lawrence Mortuary. Elizabeth returned once he was done. Before he left, he asked if she also got a postcard from Jake who, apparently, was having a great time in Lisbon with Aidan and Lucky.

Willow returned and admitted she went to see Michael when she said she was going for a walk. She knew Ric was right – she was going to have to show the world she was stable and strong and a good mother and said, “I have to make it so that no one can ever take my children away from me again.”

Josslyn and Vaughn were continuing their ruse as a couple at the Metro Court pool. Vaughn was putting sunscreen on her back while she filled him on Greta, the courier’s tracker signal disappearing for three hours while at the Five Poppies Resort. Carly walked in and, after her talk with Anna the other day, had a more cautious view of Vaughn. She interrupted their conversation to tell Joss she needed to talk in her office.

After Joss and Carly left, Emma and Gio arrived. When Emma took Outback off her leash, the dog ran straight to Vaughn whom Emma did not want to talk to. Vaughn brought Outback to her. He apologized for what happened with Josslyn, but could tell it really didn’t bother her at all.

Later, when Joss returned to the pool, she said hi to Gio and Emma. After she walked off, Gio questioned the way Emma was acting toward Vaughn and Joss. She told him she was trying to steer clear of Vaughn because she stole his facility's master key.

Joss told Vaughn about Anna talking to her mom and felt it was only a matter of time before she exposed him. Vaughn said Brennan must have felt the same way, because he called to say he was pulling them off of the investigation.

At a table by the window, Drew came to meet with Martin. As Drew was angrily telling Martin it was Curtis who told Willow the truth, he saw Curtis and Stella walk in. After they sat, Curtis spotted Drew staring at him. Drew told Martin he never thought Curtis would destroy Willow just to get back at him. When Stella was talking, she noticed Drew and Curtis glaring at each other. As she was going on about the rumors she heard about the wedding, Drew interrupted asking to speak to Curtis.

Stella went to chat with Martin while they talked. Drew pretended not to know about Curtis telling Willow the truth and told him he wanted to call a truce. Curtis wanted the blackmail material Drew had on Portia and Drew said he would consider it once he knew they weren’t at each other’s throats. They both said they would not be the one to break the peace.

Curtis walked back with Drew to his table to get his Aunt Stella. Martin thanked Stella again for all her help at the hospital and she reminded him to get his 1040 in. After Curtis and Stella walked off, Drew asked what Martin was talking about. Naively, Martin talked about how expertly Stella navigated a tricky system to get him coverage and didn’t realize Drew was seeing his next opportunity to have something to hold over Curtis. Drew told Martin he was playing the long game with Curtis. Back at their own table, Curtis told Stella he thought he and Drew found a truce.

When she was in Carly's office, Joss expressed confusion over her mom’s concern about Vaughn. Carly said she didn’t know anything about him and asked Josslyn how well she actually knew him. Because Carly had never policed her dating choices, Joss was caught off guard and acted a bit defensive. After Carly let her know she spoke with Anna, Joss dismissed everything by saying Anna only talked to her because Emma got her feelings hurt.

When Carly expressed her displeasure about Vaughn pitting Joss and Emma against each other, Joss let her know Emma transparently went after him to get back at her and she was not exclusive with Vaughn anyway. Carly asked her if she was okay with the “situationship” or was she looking for something more. Joss assured her she didn’t want anything more and said Anna was getting in her head. Carly reminded her that she could come to her anytime with anything and they hugged.

After Joss left, a distressed Michael showed up to tell his mom about Willow coming to try to see the kids again. He said there was a moment he saw the old Willow, but she reverted into an irrational, desperate person when she realized she wasn’t going to get what she wanted. He questioned when it was ever going to be healthy for her to be around the kids again.

After leaving Elizabeths, Jason visited the Lawrence Mortuary. The woman at the mortuary shared that Liesl picked up Britt’s ashes on January 12, 2023, but noticed what she thought was an error on the form. She told Jason the section to confirm the cremation was completed wasn’t actually filled out.
