What happened on General Hospital

At the Q mansion, Sasha became panic-stricken when Daisy was missing from the nursery. She frantically ran to see if Daisy was in the bassinet downstairs, but she was not. Sasha found Michael coming in from the boathouse and told him someone had taken Daisy.
Ned and Olivia arrived to hear Michael telling Sasha the police were on their way. Chase and another officer arrived to get information about Daisy’s disappearance. As Sasha was sharing the rest of her suspicions, Olivia heard something. When she went into the living area, she found Daisy in her bassinet.
Sasha was confused and insisted someone moved Daisy and could still be on the property. Michael, Chase, Ned, and the officer went to search the property while Olivia stayed with Sasha. Olivia suggested the possibility of Sasha’s mind playing tricks on her. Sasha said it wouldn’t matter if she was hormonal or sleep-deprived; she would not misplace her baby.
After speaking to everyone, Chase said he couldn’t find anything suspicious. Michael walked into the foyer with Ned and Olivia. Olivia was concerned about the possibility of postpartum and felt Sasha should get checked out as soon as possible.
Sasha told Michael she wanted to move Daisy’s crib into her room. Michael went to the foyer to check in with Chase and told him he would have their private security team do a forensic sweep. Chase questioned if this wasn’t just Sasha “jumping at shadows”. When Michael said he would do anything to keep Daisy safe, Chase asked even if that meant from her own mother.
At her gallery, Ava was preparing for Joel Sartore’s show when Nina came to catch up. Nina shared her ongoing worry that Willow was dead set on marrying Drew, who she was sure would ruin what was left of Willow’s life.
Ava expressed her sympathy that Ric did not do a better job for Willow and went on to speculate he may not have been as dedicated as he had seemed to be. She said the morning of Willow’s divorce proceeding, Ric wasn’t working, but was spending time with Elizabeth. Ava said Ric lied right to her face in front of Nina at her office. Nina encouraged her to kick him to the curb if he was cheating on her. Ava didn’t feel he was cheating on her yet and really didn’t want to get rid of him.
Wanting to take advantage of Drew being in D.C., Nina was leaving to meet Willow for a drink. She said they were planning on going wedding dress shopping next week even though she felt marrying Drew would be the biggest mistake of Willow’s life.
After leaving the Metro Court pool, Ric went to see Ava at the gallery. He told her he got a call from their bank manager in the Caymans. Aggravated, he said two of the seven Dolos funds were reported to be overdrawn. Ava indicated she needed the extra money for the new lighting in the gallery.
Ric agreed that the lighting was great - much better than the lighting at Pentonville, which was where he said they were going to be if she didn’t stop spending money she wasn’t supposed to have. When he reminded her they have to work together, she remarked, “Really, because I’ve barely seen you lately?” and went on to say she knew he was with Elizabeth the morning of Willow’s hearing.
Ric said he was only bringing juice to a friend and lied to her because he knew she would overreact like she was at the moment. He also emphasized that his omitting the truth didn’t threaten their freedom like her overspending did. When Ava said it was her money, he angrily replied that she wouldn’t have it without him and that she couldn’t just take it whenever she wanted.
Cody walked in as Ava was telling Ric to leave. Seeing Cody did not sit well with him, but he said he would see her at the show the next day and left.
As Cody and Ava were measuring the display walls for hanging pictures, Cody leaned in and kissed her. Ava lingered in the kiss before finally pulling away. After she admitted it was a good kiss, she lightly slapped him on the face and said it could never happen again. He apologized for misreading the signs and agreed to work together with no further misunderstandings.
Earlier, Elizabeth and Portia were grabbing a drink at the Metro Court pool when Ric walked up. Ric tried to entice Elizabeth into a future night out with two box seats to the Port Charles’ Symphony. The program was going to be pieces by Gershwin, and he knew how much she loved his music. Before she could answer, Ric had to take a call and leave.
Portia recognized Ric’s interest in Elizabeth and wanted to know what was going on with him. Elizabeth said they were just friends, but she did enjoy spending time with him. Portia encouraged Elizabeth to do what she wanted. Elizabeth told her about Lucky’s proposal. Portia alluded to her marriage with Curtis having a rough patch, but she intended to get down and fight.
After leaving the gallery, Nina arrived at the pool but couldn’t find Willow. Willow finally texted that she caught traffic but was on her way, which seemed odd to Nina. When Willow finally arrived, Nina asked what route she had taken because she hadn’t had any trouble getting there herself.
Willow was acting suspiciously but told her she was on the phone with Drew and lost track of time. She said it was almost embarrassing how much she missed him. Suddenly, her attention drifted, and she flashed back to being in the nursery at the Q mansion holding Daisy. As she picked up Daisy, she said they were going to go for a little walk. As she held her, she said, “Your mommy betrayed me. Your daddy really did. He won’t let me see my children. So, we’re going to show them how that feels, okay?”
Outraged, Lulu found Brook Lynn at the Quartermaine boathouse and angrily slapped her for what she had just done to Rocco. Brook Lynn made no apologies and said Rocco wasn’t supposed to see the file. She threw Lulu’s words about not keeping secrets from her kids in her face and told her she was being a hypocrite.
Brook Lynn acting like she was taking the high road angered Lulu even more. Brook Lynn continued to rationalize her actions and told Lulu to face the fact that Rocco was hurt because of her actions. As their argument escalated, Gio walked up and angrily told them to stop. When he told them to stop arguing about him, Lulu explained that they were actually arguing about what Brook Lynn had done to his brother, Rocco.
Lulu didn’t share any other details other than Rocco didn’t know he was carried by a surrogate until Brook Lynn used that information to hurt him and get back at her. After Lulu left, Gio tried to clarify what happened. He was outraged that she would use that information to hurt Rocco. When Brook Lynn said she never meant for Rocco to see the information, he asked her why she bothered digging it up in the first place. “What was the point?”, he asked.
After saying she initially wanted to give Lulu a taste of her own medicine, he told her she wanted to hurt Lulu more than she wanted to avoid hurting his own brother. Leaving Brook Lynn stunned, he said, “Walking away from you was clearly the right decision. I never should have come back here tonight. And I won’t make that mistake again.”
At Lulu’s house, Jason came to visit Rocco per his request. Rocco asked him to tell him everything he knew about Britt Westbourne. He showed him a picture of his original birth certificate with Britt’s name on it.
Rocco said Emma and his parents couldn’t stand Britt, but Danny had told him that Jason and Britt were friends. Jason told Rocco he wasn’t in town when Britt did all of those things, and there was a “long, bad history” there. After reading about her history online - from prison to her psycho parents to saving Josslyn’s life, Rocco was confused as to what to think about her.
Jason acknowledged that Britt didn’t always make the best decisions, and she hurt people, but said she was also strong and heroic. He felt she had changed, but he understood that the people she had hurt might not agree with that. Still feeling he may have never been born if not for Britt, Rocco was having a hard time being mad at her.
Rocco knew how much his parents loved him, but still found it strange he had another mom at one point, another name, and could have ended up having a whole other life. Jason said he didn’t know much about that part of Britt’s life, but she did share with him the feeling that Rocco changed her. Britt had talked about how much she loved him, even though what she did was really, really wrong. Jason concluded that if Britt saw him now, she would be really impressed with the person Rocco had become.
He thanked Jason for coming and talking to him. Lulu came back as Jason was walking off. Jason let her know Rocco reached out with questions about Britt. She was upset when Jason said he told him he thought Britt was a good person. When he said his opinion was based on the truth, she reminded him it was his truth based on his limited experience with Britt. He said Rocco deserved to know and left.
At Wyndemere, Marco explained to Sidwell that his mother’s death was ruled accidental because no signs of a struggle were discovered. They both felt it couldn’t be an accident, and Marco lamented that he didn’t do more to protect his mother. He said he should have demanded the PCPD put her in protective custody even though she had insisted Sonny was going to take care of her.
Sidwell fed into Marco’s erroneous suspicions by saying the only thing Sonny cared about was Natalia being a liability. When Marco said he would never forgive himself, his father told him he shouldn’t waste any time blaming himself because they both knew that Sonny Corinthos was the reason his mother was dead. He said Sonny was not going to let Natalia cause him any more problems ever again.
Marco’s father went on to tell him about Sonny’s heart condition and how Natalia was sworn to secrecy about it. He said Sonny must have found out she told him, which would have been further proof in Sonny’s eyes that Natalia could not have been trusted. Marco was more convinced than ever that his mom was dead because she knew too much. Sidwell said he would make sure Sonny wouldn’t get away with it, but Marco corrected him, “No, we’ll make sure of it.”
Out of the hospital, Kristina was recovering at Alexis’ house. Alexis and Kristina reflected on the chaotic trauma of the past year. Kristina conveyed her gratitude for everything her mother had done for her, but also felt Alexis gave in to Ric and Ava’s blackmail, not just to protect her but to prevent Molly from finding out she caused Ric’s accident.
Alexis said she did it for both her and Molly because she loves both of them, and her world is not a world without the two of them in it. Kristina worried she had finally gone too far, which would lead Alexis to see her in a way she would not be able to get past. Alexis reassured her that all she saw was her girl, whom she loved unconditionally, and nothing would ever change that.
Kristina vowed to get them out from under Ava and Ric’s thumb by being smart, not impulsive. Alexis expressed her reservations about Kristina’s plan to break them up but said she liked Cody. Kristina said Molly brings out the best of him, and he agreed to the plan because she told him Molly was not happy about Ric with Ava. They toasted to the prospect of Ava and Ric imploding and the fun of watching them go at each other’s throats.
Ric rang the doorbell as they were getting ready to start movie night. Without seeing Kristina, he immediately told Alexis they had business to discuss when she opened the door. Kristina kept her cool and gave Ric an out to leave by saying Molly wasn’t there.
After the fireworks, Felicia visited Mac at the PCPD. When Molly walked up, Felicia shared how happy she was to see Kristina was doing better and was released from the hospital. As Molly was telling the story of Cody helping her to stay calm and driving her to the hospital, Mac cutely went into matchmaker mode. He wanted Molly to know that Cody was single and had a lot to offer.
As they were talking about Cody, an officer came up to tell Mac there was a possible child abduction. While Mac was on the phone, Felicia told Molly to ignore Mac’s meddling, but Molly didn’t seem to mind and said she and Cody were friends. After he got off the phone, Mac shared that the missing baby was found. As Molly was leaving, Mac invited her to dinner with them and Cody. Molly politely declined the invitation and left. Felicia told Mac he was being too obvious and he needed to not get involved, but Mac felt Molly would be good for Cody.
