At the Quartermaine boathouse, Michael walked up to Sasha holding Daisy. He knew she had been watching Daisy non-stop and offered his help. She thanked him but said, after what happened last night, she was never letting her baby out of her sight again.

Michael tried to comfort and reassure Sasha that Daisy was okay, but Sasha said there were too many weird things happening. When Michael said he didn’t know what was going on, but there could be many, perfectly reasonable explanations, Sasha said, “You think I’m crazy, don’t you?”

She understood how things might look, but made it clear she was not imagining things and that the problem wasn’t her being tired, hormonal, or suffering from Postpartum Depression. She acknowledged her past mental health and addiction issues could give Michael reason to doubt her, but he didn’t. She was relieved to hear he believed everything she said and was listening.

Sasha believed, “Either someone is deliberately trying to gaslight me or someone is trying to prove that they can get to our daughter whenever they want. Which is why Daisy and I have to move immediately.” Michael offered to beef up security, but Sasha didn’t feel safe there anymore. He was surprised to find out Sasha wasn’t talking about moving somewhere else in town, but leaving Port Charles altogether.

Sasha knew something was off, and she didn’t want to sit around waiting to figure out what it was. She needed to do what was needed to protect Daisy, even if it meant uprooting her life and leaving her friends and family. Adamant, she said, “I have already lost one child, Michael. I will not go through that again.” When she said she would have to leave with Daisy to go into hiding on their own, Michael said he couldn’t let her do that, but it was unclear what he actually meant.

Cody went to update Kristina at Alexis’ house. He was worried he overplayed his hand when he kissed Ava the night before and warned Kristina he may not be able to get Ava away from Ric after all. He told Kristina about Ava slapping him after he kissed her, but when he said she asked him to stay and finish the job, Kristina took that as a good sign.

Cody began to exhibit mixed feelings. In a way, he wanted to be done with the whole thing, admitting there was more to Ava than he thought. Kristina disagreed there was more to Ava, saying, “Whatever speck of goodness you think you see in Ava, it’s all an act. You know the horrible things she’s done.” He understood, but said Ava also had horrible things happen to her like losing Kiki.

Kristina acknowledged what happened to Kiki was tragic, but pointed out Ava didn’t change from it and, instead, continued to scheme and ruin people’s lives. She went on to emphasize how much happier Molly would be if Ric were with Elizabeth and not Ava. Cody wanted to tell Molly what they were doing, but Kristina said she would never approve. Molly walked in just as Kristina was saying it was better to keep their plan a secret.

Kristina covered by saying the secret was that Cody was actually sweet. Molly was visibly bothered when Cody said he helped hang the pictures at Ava’s gallery and was going to the Joel Sartore show tonight. After he left, Molly was agitated that Kristina had not taken the opportunity to badmouth Ava in front of Cody.

Molly didn’t like Cody around “horrible woman” Ava and said seeing them at the pool the other day was like watching “some creepy spider weave her web.” When Kristina told her she shouldn’t worry about Cody because he was a big boy who could take care of himself, Molly said, “Oh, please. He might think he’s Mr. Smooth Operator, but we both know that Ava would chew him up and spit him out. There’d be nothing left of him to bury when she’d be done with him.”

When Kristina noted how worked up she was getting, Molly said Cody had come to her rescue a couple of times, and she considered him sort of a friend who she didn’t want anything bad to happen to. Kristina asked if she wanted to be more than “sort of friends”.

Molly claimed she and Cody had nothing in common and didn't understand why people would think she’d be interested in him. She said she didn’t want Ava to eat him alive, which was different than having feelings. Kristina had to look away when Molly wondered how he even got involved with “that woman” in the first place.

At the hospital, Elizabeth and Lucas were talking when Ric came up and interrupted. Lucas tried to give Elizabeth an out from talking to Ric by saying she was about to assist him in Trauma 2. She didn’t take the out, though, and instead stayed to talk with Ric, who asked her out.

Elizabeth said she already had plans to go to the Joel Sartore exhibit. Ric said he was already going to, so they should go together — like a date. When he saw her odd reaction, he said he didn’t mean it like a “date, date,” and he was just using a figure of speech. She questioned if he was sure about that.

She went on to compliment some of his finer qualities and told him she genuinely enjoyed his company, but she didn’t want to mislead him. He said he had been and would always respect her boundaries, apologized if he was overstepping, and claimed all he really wanted or needed was her friendship.

Carly approached Willow at the nurse’s station to say, “Michael told me what you did. You’re not going to get away with it.” She said she knew about the incident at the pool where she stayed around for Wiley to see her. Willow questioned how Carly could blame her since she hadn’t been able to see her kids. When Carly reminded her she could see her kids if she didn’t marry Drew, Willow bristled and told her she and Michael could not tell her how to live her life.

When Willow said she and Drew were going to get married, Carly said she couldn’t stop that train wreck, but she could ban her from the Metro Court if she pulled a stunt like that again, and would guarantee the judge would find out. Willow asked Carly how she could be so heartless, to which Carly responded, “I’m heartless? What was it you called my son when he was fighting for his life in Germany? ‘Absent Michael’. I didn’t forget about that.” Lucas walked up to intervene before the situation escalated.

After Willow walked off, Lucas told Carly he had asked her there because he had a huge favor to ask. He wanted her to help protect Marco from Sonny. Given the circumstances, he felt it wasn’t a stretch to think Sonny could go after Marco, but Carly said he was jumping to a lot of conclusions. He asked Carly if she could assure him with complete confidence that Marco would be safe.

Carly said Sonny didn’t go after civilians or innocent people and asked Lucas how closely Marco was tied to his dad’s business. Lucas said Marco was adamant about only handling his dad’s legit business dealings, and he trusted Marco. He felt Carly had a better chance than anyone to get through to Sonny and begged her to talk to him. She worried Lucas was greatly overestimating her influence, but he cautioned that if Sonny were to harm Marco, it would trigger an all-out war, which would affect everyone.

Later, before Elizabeth left, she checked in with Lucas to see how Marco was doing. They could only speculate whether Marco could have gotten to his mother on time, but agreed he was heroic in saving Kristina, which Lucas hoped would be recognized and appreciated by “certain people.”

They went on to talk about Ric’s interest in her. She told Lucas she’d said all the right words to set up her boundaries with Ric, but seeing each other at Ava’s gallery might test if he was going to respect them or not. Lucas wondered if Ric might be the “messiest man in the world” and was going to end up answering to Aunt Ava if he kept pursuing Elizabeth.

Drew and Kai were swimming at the Metro Court pool. Drew, again, thanked Kai for warning him about Curtis’ plans to ambush him with Jacinda. Kai said he struggled with telling Drew what he overheard Curtis say, but he didn’t want Drew to be dragged for something he didn’t do. Drew appreciated Kai’s honesty, integrity, and insight and said he had a plan to stop Curtis and Portia.

Kai said Trina meant everything to him and worried she would feel betrayed by his actions. He hoped she would understand he had to do what he thought was right and, if she didn’t, he hoped they could agree to disagree. Ultimately, he felt it would be best to own up to his actions even if he didn’t like the consequences. Kai left after Willow arrived.

Willow told him they should enjoy things while they could because Carly threatened to ban her from the pool. She felt Carly and Michael were trying to punish her just because she wanted to see her son. Drew reminded her they had to tread lightly because the visitation hearing was coming up, and they didn’t want to give Michael any ammunition.

Drew said Michael was still trying to punish her for leaving him, but they were going to prove they were the more stable, loving home for the kids. First, they would secure visitation, and then they would get custody. An increasingly indignant Willow felt it wasn’t right because Michael had Wylie, Amelia, and Daisy, and her arms were empty.

Drew expressed his regret that their relationship had put her in this position. When he said he was sorry, Willow claimed it was all Michael’s fault and all Drew had ever done was love and support her. They pledged their love for each other and look forward to getting married.

Felicia visited Curtis at his Aurora office to update him about Jacinda’s whereabouts. Jacinda agreed to fly back to Port Charles to talk with Curtis about Drew. As they continued to talk, Jordan knocked at the door. After Felicia left, Curtis told Jordan about Jacinda agreeing to meet with him.

Curtis still felt strongly that blowing up Drew’s life was the best way to protect his wife. When Curtis said he wanted to try to explain what happened the other day when Jordan walked in on him and Portia, Jordan immediately guessed that Portia wanted to send her a message to stay away from him. She said she didn’t agree with Portia’s tactics, but felt she was absolutely right.

Jordan expressed it was never her intention to cause problems in his marriage, but Curtis told her it was not on her. He was the one who dragged her into his marital problems, and she was just there for him when he needed a friend. Jordan told him before things got any messier, she needed to do the right thing and remove herself from his life.

After Curtis told her she hadn’t crossed any lines, she said she wanted it to stay that way because she didn’t want to be responsible for his marriage falling apart - directly or indirectly. She felt it was best they didn’t see each other outside of professional or family capacities. He agreed with her and admitted he leaned on her in ways that weren’t fair to her or Portia. He thanked her for saying something, being a class act, and an amazing woman.

After Jordan left, Felicia returned to inform Curtis that Jacinda wasn’t at the airport and her place was completely cleared out. Felicia was guessing Jacinda got cold feet, but Curtis knew immediately it was Drew. Kai walked up to the door as Curtis said, “No, it was Drew. Somehow, he got to her. How in the hell did he know what I was up to?”

Thanks to Cody’s help, Ava’s gallery was set up and ready to go. She and Trina chatted as they were excitedly awaiting the Joel Sartore show. Ava gushed about what a great help Cody had been, which Trina found interesting. Trina questioned how Ava was able to afford the new state-of-the-art lighting. Ava reminded her that her financial hiccup was over so she was free to splurge despite Ric’s miserly financial advice.

They went on to talk about Trina’s parents and Kai for a bit. Ava loved that Trina was finding happiness with Kai and told her she deserved only wonderful things. Still unaware, Kai told Drew about her parents, Trina shared how healthy her relationship felt with Kai. Ava lamented that she didn’t feel the same about Ric and told Trina about having a fight with him yesterday.

When Cody arrived, Ava greeted him, “Well, if it isn’t my hammer-wielding angel.” After Trina walked out, Ava told Cody he cleaned up nicely, and he apologized again for kissing her last night. She said it was bygones, and he more than made up for it by being such a great help.

Later, Ric arrived with flowers and a check with a lot of zeros for Ava. Apparently, he had Alexis release more money and put in a little extra so Ava could use it for the gallery. He wanted to remind her they were in it together and hated fighting with her yesterday. Cody walked up on the side as the two were reconciling.

Jason arrived at Sonny’s house to inform him about two bodies being fished out of the harbor that morning. They were the bodies of Selina Wu’s associates who had been seen on the surveillance footage from Charlie’s. Now that the bodies had been found, they figured Dante would be questioning them soon, but knew he should really be questioning Sidwell.

The two felt strongly that, even if Selina had something to do with the attack, she was set up by Sidwell, who was the brains behind everything happening. Sonny wanted Sidwell to answer for almost killing his daughter, Kristina.

Jason noted the differences between the two fires. The fire at the penthouse, which injured Michael, was started by a less sophisticated device, whereas the one at Charlie’s was started using “old school” methods. They recognized there could be a threat on two fronts, which would make protecting their families even harder, which meant they needed to increase security.

Jason reassured Sonny that he wasn’t responsible for Natalia’s death, but Sonny wished it could have been different. Even though Natalia didn’t turn her evidence over to Turner, Sonny still felt it was a good idea to pull his investment from Deception, just in case.

However, at the moment, Sidwell was the priority because Sonny did not want the fire to go unanswered. He said they needed to send a message, “You come after my child, your child will pay”, which would be bad news for Marco. Carly arrived. When Sonny asked what brought her by, she said she was there to stop another one of their children from being killed.
