Lulu and Isaiah met at the Metro Court pool at sunset. Isaiah said he’d spoken with Lucky who was still worried about Lulu and wanted him to look in on her. He offered to be there to talk or just hang.

After talking for a bit, Lulu admitted to digging herself a big hole and a lot of people were pissed and hurt partly because of her. She didn’t indulge in more details, but offered to buy the next drink when Isaiah got a call from the hospital.

On the other side of the pool, Jordan met with Anna. She shared that Curtis’ marriage was on the rocks and that she didn’t know how she felt about it. Anna explained the similar situation she had with Robert and Holly and how she was tempted to try to get back with him when he and Holly were having marriage problems. Ultimately, she didn’t because she wouldn’t want someone doing the same to her. Jordan expressed that it was exactly what Portia had done

She admitted she and Curtis crashed and burned on their own, and Portia didn’t intentionally sabotage their marriage, but she was circling. Anna asked if it was about payback. Jordan said she didn’t want to be that person, but Portia didn’t seem to be able to learn a lesson because she lied to Curtis again. She was honest about feeling bad for Curtis and Trina, but finding it hard to have much sympathy for Portia.

While Isaiah was on the phone, Lulu came over to ask to talk with Anna. She apologized for never properly thanking her for bringing Charlotte back and for how she acted toward her regarding Valentin. Anna shared her profound regret about what happened to Charlotte. Lulu acknowledged it was an accident and encouraged her to stop carrying that burden.

Lulu shared that Charlotte had found a good group of friends and was going to be a summer counselor at Camp Lila. Anna felt Charlotte had a tougher life because of Valentin and was glad she now had a parent who could love and guide her the way she needed. Lulu reflected on losing four years of her children’s lives and not wanting to lose anymore and said, thanks to Anna, she wouldn’t have to.

Isaiah and Jordan chatted. He wondered if she had changed her mind about Jenz Sidwell. She assured she had no illusions about him. Fishing for information, he brought up her ex-husband being the head of Aurora Media. At the end of their conversation, they both expressed regret for the way things ended between them and acknowledged that the timing wasn’t right. He still wished her the best, though.

At Trina and Josslyn’s home, Joss was on the phone explaining to Dalton why she had to leave the office early and promised to never leave her work to Emma or anyone else again. Trina walked in visibly upset.

Trina explained Kai’s results and the conclusion that he couldn’t play football anymore, and how Josh tried to continue filming through it. She felt his future was pulled from under him again, his dreams were destroyed, and it was all Drew’s fault.

Trina felt Drew had been trying to ride out Kai’s good PR and did not really care about him. “Of course not, Drew doesn’t care about anything but Drew. And, the people he helps, he ruins their lives”, said Josslyn, who went on to update Trina about Willow.

With a controlled outrage, Trina declared Drew to be a user. Joss said someone needed to stop him, and Trina responded, “Somebody will. Count on it”. As they continued their conversation over tea, Joss explained what Drew did to Wylie. They were perplexed how Drew, who did not act subtly, could continue to get away with everything he had done. Trina had to admit Kai believed in Drew, and it was scaring her. Joss tried to assure her that eventually, Drew would be found out and that no one would ever believe him again.

The two went down a list of some of the people Drew had crossed…Tracy, Curtis, Michael, Jason, Sonny, Carly, etc. Joss referred to them as “not the most forgiving, let bygones be bygones group of people” and felt one of them would take him down soon. Trina hoped so and hoped Kai would not be anywhere near him when it happened.

Kai went to Drew’s house to explain what happened at his follow-up appointment and the bad news he received about not being able to play football again. Drew glossed over the bad news, reminding him that they knew nothing was a guarantee, and his spine was better after the surgery. Kai expressed his frustration for all the years he put into football for nothing.

After talking some more, Kai expressed the documentary was not going to turn out like they wanted. Drew told him not to worry about it and assured him he would cancel the project.

Drew said he owed Kai an apology because he didn’t fully realize the downside of the surgery. He then offered another possibility - being a paid intern for him in D.C. and Port Charles. Drew told him he was a natural born leader, was great with the media, had integrity and he could use someone like that by his side.

Drew asked him to think about it and to remember that his future was going to be bright even without football. He wanted Kai to consider him a friend, whether he accepted the internship or not. Kai said he did.

At the Q mansion, Jason walked in to welcome Sasha and Daisy home. Michael walked in after tucking the kids in. He was upset because Amelia asked for her mother to tuck her in, and he didn’t know when it would be okay for her to see them.

Michael told Jason he was trying to figure out where he and the kids were going to live because the gate house was not an option. Jason asked why he wouldn’t just stay at the Q mansion, where Wiley and Amelia could be around family. Sasha left to put Daisy to bed, thanking Michael for being on the same page before she left.

He explained to Jason about the arrangement with Sasha that he had agreed to. Sasha wanted to be the only legal parent, and he agreed. Daisy would not be a Quartermaine or Corinthos, and he would not have any custodial rights to the baby. As always, Jason assured Michael that he had his back.

They discussed how unstable Willow was right now and how everything was made worse when she fell for Drew. They both felt Sasha was strong and going to make a good mother. Michael said thinking of getting back to his kids was what got him through all of the agony of treatment. He thanked Jason for looking out for everyone.

After Sasha put Daisy to bed, a shadowed figure walked up to the crib. Later, Sasha went to check on Daisy, who was awake. Sasha noticed the mobile was turned on and playing music, and wondered who turned it on.

Lucas and Marco were having drinks at the axe-throwing bar. Even though he couldn’t divulge the details of her case, Marco shared the concern he had for his mother and the mess she was in. Eventually, Marco did tell Lucas she was arrested for a DWI and about the plea bargain she was offered.

Lucas expressed surprise that Marco wanted to help his mom. Marco said he thought about what Lucas told him about his own mom and decided he couldn’t turn his back on his mother after all. He went on to share that ADA Turner was really putting the pressure on him as well. Lucas tried to reassure him that he and his mother could find a way out of it.

They went on to discuss their complicated relationships with their parents. Marco was a bit envious that both of Lucas’s parents accepted him for who he was. Lucas told him, “Our parents gave us life, but that doesn’t mean we owe them ours. We get to live in a way that makes us happy.”

Lucas said he was happy Marco’s father supported him and that Marco wanted to return that same acceptance, but reminded him that being gay is different from being a criminal. Lucas could appreciate how important his relationship with his dad was, but worried his proximity to him could put him in danger like Michael with Sonny, and Lucas' to Julian, to a certain extent.

They went on to talk about Michael’s custody case, and Marco found it odd that the judge did not directly grant visitation to Willow.

Sonny met with Sidwell at his castle on Spoon Island to talk man-to-man. He asked Sidwell for the truth about why he really wanted to buy the piers from him. Appreciating Sonny’s directness, Sidwell responded in kind and told Sonny he wanted his piers so he could end Sonny’s influence in the city.

Sonny asked if Sidwell thought he could just push him aside, to which he responded, “No, I was hoping you’d step down like a gentleman.” When Sonny told him to get to the point, he said he wanted to expand his business in Port Charles, and his business did not include monthly mob shootouts.

When asked what exactly his business was, Sidwell said he was an exporter, and piers were crucial to the business that would bring jobs and commerce to the city. A skeptical Sonny did not believe he was being told the full truth. He pointed out that Sidwell would lose the piers if Measure C passed anyway, to which he responded that he liked a little gamble.

Sidwell felt no one would care about Measure C once the piers were no longer Sonny’s, who he said would be able to walk away richer and cleaner. He claimed it was a chance for Sonny to unburden himself and be free of an enterprise that had become an “albatross” around his neck.

“Mr. Corinthos, you have led a tragic life. You already lost one son. Now, I can imagine that you’d want to spend the rest of your days with family, safe and secure”, said Sidwell, to which Sonny responded, “Are you threatening my family?”

Sonny told him no one threatens his family and lives. Sidwell claimed he meant the complete opposite and he did not want violence. He went further to say, “a man’s children are sacred and that kind of violence must be met in kind” and he certainly wouldn’t want anything to happen to Marco. Sonny re-emphasized he would do anything to keep his family safe.

Sidwell asked, “Do we have a deal?” Sonny questioned why they would and stated Port Charles was his home that he would protect it from anyone, including him. Ominously, Sidwell told him he’d be wise to reconsider. As he was leaving, Sonny told him to take his money and stay out of his way.

Judge Heran from Michael and Willow’s hearing visited Sidwell to inform him that she granted full custody to Michael as he wanted. He thanked her for a job well done and told her the rest of her money was wired to her account.
