Gio paid Sonny a visit at his house, wanting to know if Sonny knew. Gio couldn’t imagine why Sonny would pay for his music and education if he didn’t know he was his grandson. Sonny said, “I didn’t know you were my grandson, but I knew you were special.” Gio discussed some of his questions and concerns while Sonny did his best to comfort and reassure him that everything would work out. Even with Sonny’s reassurance, Gio expressed that he felt that Dante didn’t like him, and so Gio was not interested in having a relationship with Dante “just because of biology”. Sonny showed patience and restraint as he shared his experiences with finding out about Dante, but did not attempt to give Gio any answers. Sonny assured Gio, “Anything you need, I’m here.” Gio claimed that whatever he did next, he was going to do it on his own and for himself, and left for the Quartermaine’s.

At Elizabeth’s house, Lucky decided it was time to face the truth and come clean about knowing that Kristina cut the brake lines to Ric’s car, which caused the accident. He attempted to explain Kristina’s state of mind and regrets for her actions, which didn’t do much to reassure Elizabeth. Lucky shared that Kristina was all over the place, to which Elizabeth responded, “Yeah, because she just cut someone’s brake lines!” When Elizabeth asked why he hadn’t turned Kristina in to the cops, Lucky explained that he felt that her going to prison would do more harm than good and that he felt a debt to Sam for saving Lulu.

After discussing the circumstances further, Elizabeth agreed to keep Kristina’s secret and that she wasn’t going to be responsible for sending one of Alexis’ remaining daughters to prison. The conversation took a romantic turn when Elizabeth asked Lucky why he decided to tell her the truth. Lucky replied, “If we are going to do this, really do this…I can’t lie to you. I want to be worthy of your trust.”

Elizabeth’s mood softened, and she expressed her gratitude for the time that they had gotten to spend together as a family. She was happy that her cast was finally going to come off, but was going to miss having that extra time together. Later, when Lucky went to the kitchen, Elizabeth found a ring box on the couch.

At Carly’s house, Kristina showed up to meet Michael before the custody trial. After a quick catch-up where Kristina hid from her truths, they discussed Willow and her changed behavior. Kristina told Michael not to just look for the best in Willow, warning that his ex was more consumed with Drew than she ever has been. It’s just like she was with Shiloh.”

Michael’s resolve continued to grow throughout their conversation. “Willow, she’s not some delicate flower. She has agency. She’s responsible for her own choices, and she made them. She chose to prioritize Drew. She chose to destroy her family,” Michael said with a dark resolve to do what he needed to do to get his kids away from Willow and Drew. Michael shared that he felt that the kids were no longer emotionally safe with Willow and that, because he was the one to put his kids in this situation, it was his responsibility to get them out of it. His conversation with Kristina ended with an ominous tone, with Michael declaring, “If I don’t have any other option, I will break Willow down to nothing to keep my kids away from her.” Kristina predicted that Willow was going to see a Michael Corinthos she had never seen before.

It was a battle of words in the Quartermaine kitchen, with Brook Lynn taking Lois to task, while Grandma Gloria tried to defend Lois and put Brook Lynn in her place. “That's how it's gonna be now, Ma, you’re going to hide behind Grandma?” Brook Lynn asked Lois. When Gloria told Brook Lynn that was enough, she clapped back, “Oh please, I’m just getting started!”

Throughout the confrontation, Gloria and Lois did not appear to show remorse for their choices. They did not see themselves as liars, but protectors; both claimed to have done everything they did in order to protect Gio and Brook Lynn. “What would you have rathered? That we give him to strangers, and you never see him again? Would that have been a better plan?” Grandma Gloria asked indignantly. Brook Lynn snapped, “You don’t get to twist this! You two are acting like you did nothing wrong!”

Brook Lynn said she could forgive that she was lied to and kept from being Gio’s mother, especially at his lowest point when he lost Camila, but noted, “You kept me away from my son when he was all alone, and I will never forgive that.” Brook Lynn accused Gloria and Lois of making assumptions about what was best for her and Gio, claiming, “You don’t know what life I could have given Gio. What he could have given me.” Gloria made a final attempt to avoid facing the truth by putting the blame on a meddling Lulu. Brook Lynn acknowledged that Lulu hated her and owed her nothing, but said they were family that she should have been able to trust. Just then, Gio walked in.

Back at the law offices of Davis and Miller, Alexis was fully running from the truth. Mayor Laura Collins dropped by to ask Alexis why 10 million dollars was missing from Ace’s estate. Nervous, but quick on her feet, Alexis assured Laura that the money had been used to diversify Ace’s portfolio and had been invested in the Dolos fund. Laura seemed skeptical for a second, but fell for Alexis’ lie. Before leaving, Laura just asked Alexis to keep her more informed in the future. Alexis thought she was off the hook for a minute until Marco showed up to discuss the Dolos fund. He warned Alexis that it looked like a shell company set up for money laundering, and they should investigate it for fraud.

At Lulu’s house, Rocco came barreling down the stairs to share the video of Gio smashing his violin at the Nurse’s Ball and asked what happened. Dante showed up and confirmed that Gio was his son and Rocco’s half-brother. Rocco was stunned and had questions, “Don’t we deserve some answers? I mean, Gio is my brother! We missed out on practically everything!” Lulu and Dante calmly acknowledged Rocco’s concerns and assured him that they would get the answers they needed. When Rocco asked how Gio found out, Lulu let him know that she was the one who discovered the truth, and that Gio had overheard her talking about it at the Nurse’s Ball. Lulu clarified, “I need you to understand that I respect adoption as well Brook Lynn’s right to make her own choices. What I took issue with were the lies. Gio is your half-brother, and like you said, your dad — he’s an amazing father. So when I found out that Gio was here and in your lives, I couldn’t keep quiet anymore.” She expressed regrets, but also her hopes that Gio will figure out how great it is to have Dante as a father and Rocco as a brother. Lulu opened the front door to find her mother. Laura told her daughter, “I heard it was an eventful Nurse’s Ball.”
