At Carly’s house, Lucas was going to make Marco dinner, but warned him that he was less of a chef and more of a person who watched a video of someone making the dish online. He ordered the groceries and assembled Carly’s “rarely used cookware”, but forgot to save the recipe, so he had no idea what to do. Marco said they could improvise.

Marco, who took over cooking for Lucas, asked if he didn’t really know how to cook. Lucas said he was a “prolific microwaver” but didn’t get the culinary gene from his mom. Marco fondly recalled that his mother was the one who taught him to cook, and they used to love to cook together when he was young and before it all went wrong.

Marco and Lucas had a lovely romantic dinner. As they were cleaning up, he received Natalia’s text, but it was gibberish, so he couldn’t make sense of it. He dismissed it as her drunk texting again, but Lucas felt he should pay attention to it — especially since she was leaving to start a new life. “Your mom may be drunk, but she’s reaching out. And this might be the last chance you have to reach back”, Lucas cautioned.

At Curtis’ Aurora office, he and Portia were starting to go at it on his desk when Jordan walked in. After she immediately turned and left, Curtis accused Portia of setting it all up, to which she responded, “I sure as hell did.”

Portia said she couldn’t predict when Jordan would arrive, but knew she was coming because she had sent her a message from Curtis’ phone saying he wanted to see her. As Curtis was caught in Portia’s continued use of lies and deception, Jordan indignantly responded, “Forget Jordan. Why are you mad, because of some perceived lie? Or that your ex-wife saw you kissing the woman you’re currently married to?”

Curtis felt like he was looking at someone he didn’t even know. Portia maintained that Jordan needed to see them together reconciling. Portia knew Jordan wanted him back, and she wanted her to see that it was not possible.

Curtis did not agree with Portia’s assessment of the situation and said her guilt was driving her “particular narrative”. Portia explained the many ways she saw him and Jordan getting closer and felt Jordan was trying to exploit his vulnerability. He told her it didn’t sound like Jordan, but did sound like Portia.

Portia took issue with Curtis’ implications. She said whatever she had done was to save them, but Curtis felt it was destroying them instead. He distinguished between the different types of lies she and Jordan committed, concluding, “Jordan was not the problem and she never was.” The real problem was them.

Portia disagreed she was the one causing problems and, whether or not he wanted to admit it, Jordan was a problem. She reiterated Jordan needed to understand they were married, had a daughter, and were a couple with a beautiful family. Jordan called, but Curtis left the phone ringing. Portia said she would leave him to it, but she would be fighting for their marriage and questioned if he would be as well.

At Anna’s PCPD office, ADA Turner was once again accusing her of not handling Sonny properly. Anna told her to take it up with Internal Affairs and also reminded her that Sonny didn’t get where he is by being stupid. She said he was very smart and strategic. Turner said Anna was as well, and wondered if Sonny was really always one step ahead of her or if her personal allegiance was causing her to look the other way.

Anna was losing her patience and told her she was not her enemy. When Anna said they were working toward the same goal, Turner maintained her skepticism. Anna said, “You can either utilize me as an ally or wreck yourself at the altar of Sonny Corinthos. I.DON’T.CARE. You won’t be the first and, I’m fairly certain, you won’t be the last.”

Anna was giving a final caution to Turner to be very careful how she decided to proceed with her investigations when Jordan came in. After Turner left, Jordan told Anna about walking in on Portia and Curtis, and immediately recognized that she was set up by Portia.

Jordan said Curtis wasn’t really an option for her, and she wanted to try to walk away from the situation with some semblance of dignity. Ultimately, she wanted Curtis to be happy and did not want to be responsible for ruining his marriage. Anna recognized how much Jordan cared about Curtis, but told her she owed it to herself to process her feelings and figure out what she needed to find a way to move forward.

After Jordan left, Turner returned and told Anna that if she wanted to build trust with her, she needed to put out an APB on Natalia Ramirez, whom she knew was about to skip town.

Natalia walked into the church and sat in the back pew. Sonny immediately told her they needed to speak outside. Sasha, Daisy, Joss, and Wylie walked in, creating a sweet moment. Outside, Natalia was upset because she was under the impression that Sonny was supposed to be on a plane with her to help her start anew in Belize.

Sonny clarified he was setting her up with a new life for her, but he planned to monitor her safety. When she said he told her he wouldn’t abandon her, he said he wasn’t — he was going to make sure she had enough money where she could live a great, comfortable life in a beautiful area. Natalia continued to spin out, lamenting she would have no connections, no friends , and no family. Sonny continued to try to make clear she was going to be starting a new life by herself and not with him, as she thought.

Inside the church, Wiley asked if they were waiting for Mommy to start. Brook Lynn pulled Chase to the side to try to get him to tell her what he knew about Natalia. Kristina came out to tell Sonny that Father Reyes was about to start.

Sonny told a man named Keith to take Natalia back to the hotel and make sure she got on the plane. As she was leaving, she turned and said cryptically, “May you and your whole family get every blessing that you deserve.”

After Sonny made it back inside the church, the ceremony went off without another hitch. Mac was even able to show up! Father Reyes completed the ceremony and presented the newly baptized Daisy Celeste to her friends and family.

Everyone was invited back to the Quartermaines' for the reception. Sonny assured Carly that Natalia was taken care of. Brook Lynn overheard Chase leave a message for Turner about Natalia coming to the church. She was worried he had set something bad in motion.

The two briefly argued about respecting the wall between his job and their personal life. Brook Lynn wanted to know what was going on, but Chase said he couldn’t talk about it.

Family and friends gathered for Daisy’s reception at the Q mansion. Felicia and Carly reminisced about Bobbie, wishing she could meet Daisy. Felicia felt Bobbie was there with them in spirit.

Sasha thanked Jason for everything he did to take care of her and felt lucky he was in their lives, looking out for her and Daisy. Brook Lynn left a message for Chase. Sonny, Michael, and Kristina were talking when she got a text saying her manager called in sick, so she would have to leave to go open Charlie’s Pub.

Back at the hotel, Natalia told Keith she needed to pack and take a shower. After having a panic attack, she took a prescription medicine and chased it down with alcohol. A short while later, she took more medicine with alcohol. As she was packing, she replayed in her mind the things Sonny, Sidwell, and Marco said to her. She texted Marco, not understanding that the texts were too hard to make sense of.

Unbeknownst to Kristina, men disguised in black were breaking into Charlie’s Pub to spill gasoline everywhere.

During an ending montage, they celebrated and toasted Daisy Celeste at the Q mansion, as Natalia stumbled around her hotel room waiting for Marco to reply. She made it to the couch and passed out. As she dropped the phone, Marco texted that he was on the way. Kristina entered Charlie’s, quickly recognizing the gasoline on the floor. A fireball was launched through the window to ignite the pub.
