Here is your General Hospital recap for Friday, May 2, 2025, when a beach bonfire caused some problems.
What happened on General Hospital

Danny and Rocco soon arrived at the beachfront bonfire. Rocco looked pensive, but Danny told him that they just needed to blend and grabbed two drinks to help them do so. "You don't have to drink it. Just hold it. Everybody has a cup in their hands. This is how we blend," Danny cheerfully said before they began talking to two girls. Rocco stood off to the side while Danny made a new friend who wanted to play volleyball.
Emma and Gio made their way to the bonfire with Josslyn not far behind. Emma spotted Vaughn approaching them in a swimsuit and immediately asked who this man was. He told the kids he was just there for his daily cold water swim. He suggested that Emma try it, so she asked Gio to go with her, even though they didn't have swimsuits.
Emma checked that her flash drive was still in her shorts pocket before she and Gio stripped down to their underwear and cold plunged into the lake. Joss took the opportunity to grab it as soon as nobody was looking. However, Josslyn and Vaughn were stuck when Joss wanted to replace the corrupted flash drive while Emma wanted to put her shorts back on.
As Vaughn and Joss argued about how to get the flash drive back to Emma, Josslyn turned around to see Danny standing there. Josslyn gave Danny a look and said, "Neither one of us was here," so Danny knew to just walk away. They didn't realize that Rocco had made a friend and drank, so he was passed out in an isolated area.
At Lulu's place, Dante pointed out that the incident with Drew had gotten Lulu some offers, "so maybe you don't have to write about the adoption thing." Dante asked her to drop the story for him. Lulu refused.
"No, I'm a journalist and I'm not going to let Brook Lynn dictate who or what I write about," Lulu said, before wondering if Chase had asked Dante to talk to her. Dante said that he did because Brook Lynn was hurt by the article, whether Dante felt it was justified or not. "Why can't you just entertain the thought of using another idea?" he asked.
Dante pointed out that Chase and Brook Lynn were struggling with infertility the same way that he and Lulu had all those years ago. After an impassioned plea from Dante, Lulu seemed moved, but she wasn't going to drop the story. Dante said he knew this was all about the fact that Dante and Brook Lynn had a teenage fling. "Because...you're still in love with me," he said, shocking Lulu.
Lulu tried to play it cool. "I mean, I'll always love you. We have a child together," she said. Finally, she admitted she was still in love with Dante, who told him that Maxie filled him in on what Lulu planned to say right before she fell into a coma. Dante thought she had moved on with Dustin. "I didn't mean to fall in love with Sam. It just happened. Are you saying I should have waited for you?" he asked.
Lulu felt that Dante had to move on. "As hard as it is for me to imagine you moving on without me, I'm truly glad that Sam was there for you and Rocco," she said. She admitted she wasn't jealous of Brook Lynn. She was jealous of Sam, who had saved her life. Lulu wondered if she was a horrible person, but Dante told her she wasn't, but he wouldn't pretend he wasn't in love with Sam.
Lulu cried that she needed to get on with her life. "But the painful truth is, I'm still in love with you," she said. "Well, I'm still in love with you, too," Dante replied.
In the Q solarium, Tracy absorbed the bombshell that Brook Lynn had just dropped about her teenage pregnancy. Tracy asked who knew. "Up until recently, the only person I told about my baby was my mom," Brook Lynn admitted.
Brook Lynn apologized for lying to Tracy, who sat Brook Lynn down to talk. "Honey, you didn't lie. It's your life. Your choices. You get to decide who you want to tell," Tracy said. Brook Lynn explained that she didn't want to tell anyone about her son. "You had a boy?" Tracy asked. "My mom and my Grandma Gloria didn't even tell me. Lulu did," Brook Lynn said, much to Tracy's shock.
Brook Lynn told Tracy that Lulu found Marty's notes about her baby and "she's not let up on me since." Brook Lynn said that Lulu thought the father had a right to know, but Tracy agreed that it was Brook Lynn's life and she supported her decision to give up the baby for adoption. "If that's what you really wanted," Tracy said.
Tracy asked the question others have not. "You were forced to make a very difficult decision at a very young age. Do you regret that choice?" she wondered. "All the time," a tearful Brook Lynn answered. However, she realized how difficult it would have been to raise a child when she was a child herself.
Brook Lynn explained that her mother had helped her with the adoption, but only recently learned that Gloria knew and had also helped. Brook Lynn wondered if she was a coward for not telling her dad. Tracy told Brook Lynn she was brave and even the best Quartermaine.
Brook Lynn said she feared that Tracy would be angry and take Lulu's side. "I know that Lulu can be arrogant and self-righteous and often wrong, like her father. But loving someone doesn't mean you have to agree with them all the time," Tracy pointed out.
In the Q kitchen, Lucy lectured Maxie and Lois on how they needed to pull it together and make the Nurses' Ball the biggest success ever. She also announced that she "disinvited" Drew. Lois and Maxie convinced her that it was a bad thing to do. As the ladies argued more about seating arrangements, Lucy wondered if they could get Carly to just stay backstage all night.
After Lucy left, Lois asked if Brook Lynn seemed okay at work. Maxie wasn't sure. "I think she's going through something, but she doesn't really confide in me," Maxie admitted. Lois thanked Maxie for being a good friend and advised her that Brook Lynn will need a good friend soon.
When Lois later found Tracy in the solarium to talk about the Nurses' Ball, Tracy dropped a bomb. "Lois, there's only one thing I want to hear from you. Where is my great-grandson?" she asked.
Nina opened her door to find Carly standing there, all giddy. As soon as she found out that Willow wasn't there, she spoke up. "Oh my God, Nina, did you deliver or what?" Nina tried playing dumb until Carly showed her the body shot video on his phone. "Oh, come on, this was you, wasn't it?" Carly asked with glee.
Carly recognized Jacinda from her "work" at the Metro Court. Carly couldn't stop asking questions. "Was Lulu in on this?" Carly wondered. "No, Lulu was just a bonus," Nina said, before explaining the original plan. "I know how hard it must have been for you to hurt Willow like that," Carly noted.
"Carly, I just keep telling myself it had to be done. Willow can't lose her children," Nina cried. "But when she showed up here with tears in her eyes, I really hated myself," Nina added. Carly assured Nina she had done the right thing. Nina wondered if it was all for nothing.
"Are you saying Willow forgave Drew already?" Carly asked in disbelief. Nina explained that Drew and Willow were at GH to get a blood test, and Willow would forgive knowing ketamine was in his system. Carly was incredulous, pointing out that Nina should have used something that wouldn't show up in his system. "Drew being a victim is only going to tie Willow to him tighter," Carly fumed.
While Nina and Carly bickered, Willow walked in just as Nina said, "I can't risk making Willow suspicious of..."
Nina tried to reason that the public pressure to resign his congressional seat could cause Drew to drop his hero act and snap, showing Willow who he really is. Carly wanted Nina to convince Willow that Drew took the drugs on purpose. "I can promise you, Nina. There's no way Michael is going to let Willow raise those children with that man," she said.
Willow and Drew arrived at the hospital for his blood test. Drew swore he would prove he wasn't in his right mind. "I would never disrespect you or our relationship," he promised. "I'll admit, the man in that video and those disgusting photos is not the Drew I know," Willow said.
While Drew had his test done, Amy approached Willow and told her how brave she was to be seen with Drew after what had just happened at The Savoy. "Just so we're both on the same page, you're not actually going to stay with him, are you?" Amy asked. "That is none of your business," Willow replied.
Drew soon returned, as did Isaiah with the test results. Drew was shocked to learn there was ketamine in his system. Willow believed that Drew was drugged and agreed to meet him at home, meaning Drew's Dawn of Day house. After Willow left, Drew spotted Mac talking to Felicia and told him he wanted to report a crime.
Drew showed Mac the test results and insisted he had never taken ketamine in his life. "Who was the last person you remember talking to that night?" Mac asked. Drew thought about it and recalled being with Tracy at the Port Charles Grille. We guess Tracy's headed back to the PCPD in cuffs.
