The Nurses' Ball festivities began with Nina and Drew in their respective homes on their respective phones, telling Lucy that they would not host the Nurses' Ball red carpet arrivals together. However, the next thing we knew, the editor of Crimson and Congressman Cutthroat were dressed to the nines with mics in hand, introducing our formal Port Charles pals to the local TV audience.

It was clear Nina was trying to do her job without Drew, but he kept following her around to make sure he was on camera. Drew also made sure to point out that his last name was Quartermaine. Soon, Lucy made her arrival dressed in a formal red skirt and t-shirt with her llama in tow.

During her interview, Lucy commented that Nina and Drew looked like they made a gorgeous and fabulous pair. Lucy refused to drop any hints about their special musical guest.

Cody found Lulu outside the Q front door. She told him she was going to the ball with Dante. "Are you going to tell him your theory about Gio being his son?" Cody asked. "Not yet. I don't have definitive proof, but I am going to get it. And if I'm right and Gio is Dante's son, he deserves to know," Lulu said.

In the Q living room, Tracy was annoyed because her family wasn't ready yet. "I'm nervous about Lucy. She is a walking, dancing, singing disaster, and I do not want her underwear ruining my act," Tracy shouted. Olivia felt they just had to live with whatever was to come. "As we all know, something always happens at the Nurses' Ball," Olivia and Ned said in tandem.

Brook Lynn, Dante, and Chase entered the room as an annoyed Tracy insisted they "get a move on." Brook Lynn was not happy to see Lulu walk in, but Dante was as he stared at Lulu in awe. Tracy was outraged when she heard that Lois left early to meet Sonny. "What a traitor!" she declared.

Back at the ball, "Coffee importer Sonny Corinthos" soon arrived with his little girl Donna on his arm. Drew made sure to ask Sonny questions about the referendum. "It doesn't matter how I feel. The people of Port Charles need to choose what's best for the city," Sonny said with a smile.

Carly arrived right behind them and kept her cool when she spotted Nina and Drew, especially after her brawl in her living room the night before. Nina tried to be nice by complimenting Donna, but Drew decided to be Drew. "Carly, too bad your son Michael couldn't be here tonight," he said. "It really is. And I'm sure you miss your favorite nephew. I know how you two love to share things," Carly said.

Sidwell and Jordan were the next to walk the red carpet. Jordan played her part well and made sure everyone knew that Sidwell was funding the entire ball. "I received such a warm welcome from the people of Port Charles. This is my way of saying thank you to the city," he said in his usual charming tone. Things turned awkward when Isaiah and Felicia arrived together.

Finally, the Qs began to arrive. Ned and Olivia walked the red carpet first, with Olivia pointing out that she was co-owner of the Metro Court, the venue for the big event. After they walked off, Drew tried to interview Portia, Curtis, and Trina, but an unexpected arrival appeared. Trina was thrilled to see Kai walk in behind her.

Q estate residents Josslyn and Gio were next to walk the carpet, with Josslyn bragging about Gio's violin skills. Josslyn also made sure to tell Nina she was sorry that Nina was stuck working with her "piece of trash co-host."

Outside, Tracy was insulted when Brook Lynn and Lulu declined to walk the red carpet with her. They wanted to be with Chase and Dante, respectively. However, Tracy got to walk with Brook Lynn after all when Chase had to take a call from Mac.

When Tracy and Brook Lynn made it to the red carpet, Tracy grabbed the mic right out of Drew's hand. "I'd like to take this opportunity to express my support for Measure C and to say how heartened I am that my nephew, the congressman, is leading the charge to rid Port Charles of that blight, Sonny Corinthos," Tracy said with a smile.

Chase made his way inside and asked to talk to Tracy in private. When she refused to go with him, Chase was forced to arrest Tracy on camera for "assault in connection with drugging an individual without their knowledge or consent." Tracy turned to Drew and told him it was a mistake, but Drew shot daggers at her and said, "No, no, it's not." Brook Lynn ran off to tell Ned and Olivia what happened to Granny.

Finally, the last person to walk the red carpet was Willow, dressed in a crimson red gown and sporting a very short haircut. The most intelligent woman in Port Charles made a point of making out with Drew for all the cameras because that will surely help her custody case. Little did she know that a mystery man on a private plane was watching the whole thing on his tablet. Maybe Willow will get to see her husband this week!

At the PCPD, Mac had Chase uncuff Tracy and told him to go back to the ball. He then sat Tracy down and told her that he had gotten a search warrant and found a vial of ketamine in her car. "Oh my God, he framed me," Tracy said, remembering Drew swimming onto the Q grounds last week.

Back at the ball, when Anna appeared on the red carpet with Emma, she told Nina and Drew that the lead singer for one of her acts was arrested, and her partner from her other act was the one who arrested her, so she was not sure if she was going to perform at all. Anna tracked down Felicia and

In the ballroom lobby, Portia noticed that Curtis looked distracted, but he told her he had to go make a call. Isaiah, who overheard part of Portia's convo with Ava the other day, approached Portia with some champagne. "If you ever need to talk, come find me," Isaiah told a confused Portia.

Outside the Metro Court, Molly waited impatiently for her mother and sister when Cody found her. Since they were both alone, he offered to escort her down the red carpet.

As Alexis got ready to leave, Ric showed up at her door. He handed her all the paperwork she needed to hide her embezzlement activity. He just wanted to help. "You know what would help? Stop blackmailing me," Alexis said. "But I so cherish these moments when I get to push your buttons," Ric deadpanned.

Alexis and Ric continued to argue until Kristina walked in, surprised to see Ric there. "Every time I come over lately, this slimeball's here. Why is that?" Kristina asked. Kristina got on Ric's case for representing Willow against Michael in court until he finally left. When he was gone, Alexis asked Kristina to be nicer to Ric, so Kristina accused her mother of being the one to lose her mind.

Alexis asked Kristina to keep things on an even keel, so Kristina asked if Alexis was still planning to commit her. Kristina, the woman who just tried to kill people, became self-righteous, frustrating Alexis. "Just stay out of Ric's face because he's not someone you want to piss off. This isn't for Molly's sake. This is for yours," Alexis said.

Kristina argued that Alexis always tried to run her life, which caused Alexis to finally go off. "You obviously do need me to protect you because if I don't, you and I are going to prison. I know you tried to kill Ava," Alexis blurted out.
