Emma called out for Gio in the Q living room. He barreled down the stairs with a backpack as Emma asked if he was okay. "No, I just found out that my mom wasn't really my mom. My dad wasn't really my dad. My entire life is a lie," he cried. He wasn't sure where he was going, but Emma insisted on going with him.

As they opened the door to leave, Tracy walked in, exhausted from her night at the PCPD. "I can't believe Drew framed me and then had me arrested. He's not going to like what happens next. And Jason, leaving me stranded at the police station," she lamented before realizing something was up. "What are you doing here? You're supposed to be at the Nurses' Ball. What's wrong?" she asked Emma and Gio.

"Do you know how you like to remind me repeatedly that I am not a Quartermaine?" Gio asked. "Vaguely," Tracy replied. "Well, the joke's on you, Tracy, cause it turns out I'm family after all," he said. Tracy was confused and stood there in shock as Gio told her that Brook Lynn and Dante were his parents.

"It was you. All this time. You're my great-grandson," Tracy said in a daze. Gio grabbed Emma and tried to leave. "No, don't go. Don't take another step," Tracy quietly demanded. Emma still wanted Gio to leave and promised Tracy she'd let her know where they were. "I appreciate you, but you need to zip it," Tracy said.

Tracy was still trying to compose herself when she asked why Gio believed this. He said he overheard Lois saying Brook Lynn and Dante were his parents. "I understand, Gio, that this is very upsetting. But you don't get to come in here and say that you're family and then just waltz out the door. Because you're my family. "

Tracy was choked up with the news. "I have two sons, a granddaughter, a grandson, and now you tell me I have a great-grandson," she said as she grabbed a picture of her parents and introduced Gio to Edward and Lila. "This broach. This belonged to Lila," she added before putting her hand to Gio's cheek and saying, "Gio, everything in this house is yours...Don't push us away."

Brook Lynn caught up with a frantic Lois in the Metro Court Gardens. Lois called out for Gio, but Brook Lynn asked her the ultimate question. "Don't even think about lying to me. Is Gio my son?" Brook Lynn asked. A tearful Lois told her, "Yes, he is," leading Brook Lynn to double over in tears and shock.

Brook Lynn couldn't even look at Lois as she tried to explain. "Your grandmother and I thought we were doing the right thing. You said you wanted your baby to go to a loving home. But how could I keep that promise if I didn't know the family? So, we decided to keep Gio close. We were only trying to look out for your child, and that's exactly what we did. No child was ever more loved than Gio was. We made sure of that," Lois said.

Brook Lynn nearly fell over, telling Lois she couldn't breathe. Lois brought Brook Lynn a glass of water as she composed herself. Brook Lynn asked Lois to tell her everything, so Lois started at the beginning. Gloria knew how much Camilla desperately wanted a baby. "When we told her our idea, she was thrilled. We were offering her the opportunity to be a mother," Lois said. "It was like a dream come true...I could look you in the eye with absolute certainty and tell you that your baby went to a loving home," she added.

Lois explained that she had wanted to tell Brook Lynn and Gio the truth when Camilla died, but Gio's whole world had just fallen apart, so they didn't want to shock him anymore. As Lois cried and babbled, begging for forgiveness, Brook Lynn sat there silent with tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Brook Lynn, you have to believe me. I was trying to do the right thing," Lois said, before Dante appeared behind her. "For who? The right thing for who?" he asked. Lois tried to talk to Dante, but Brook Lynn angrily stopped her. She looked at Dante and simply said, "I'm so sorry."

"So, it's true," Dante whispered. Brook Lynn told him that she got pregnant that summer, but she didn't know how to tell him. "Were you afraid I'd be mad or shame you or something?" Dante asked with compassion.

"I was young. I was scared out of my mind. I felt so scared and lost and didn't know what to do. All I knew was that I couldn't terminate my pregnancy, so I had the baby and gave it up for adoption. And I swore I'd never tell anyone. I swear, until tonight I never knew the child was Gio," she cried.

Dante was mature and practical, like he had always been before his meltdown with Gio and Rocco a few weeks ago. "We clearly have a lot to talk about and figure out, but look, we gotta put all that aside because we got a son and he's in trouble right now," Dante said. Just then, Tracy texted to let them know where Gio was.

Lois tried to go with them, but Brook Lynn wasn't having it. "Every time you use the word 'we' or 'us' I want to crawl out of my skin. It was MY baby, Ma," Brook Lynn yelled. "You pretended I was the one who was calling the shots. Meanwhile, I had nothing to do with it."

Lois tried to take Brook Lynn's hand, but Brook Lynn blew up at her mother and pulled it away. "Get off of me. What you did was unforgivable," Brook Lynn spat. "You lied to me, your own daughter, for 22 years. You lied to Gio, my son. Dante, Dad, Olivia, Granny, the list goes on. Stay the hell away from me," she cried as Lois broke down in hysterical tears.

Lois soon composed herself and sat silently contemplating what just happened when Ned approached her. All he did was silently glare.

Back at the Q mansion, Tracy continued telling Gio about his family, he began to cry. Tracy still continued. "Look, nobody can classify the Quartermaines as perfect, but we're you're family," she said earnestly.

"I get that this isn't your fault, but I had a family. I had a mother who I loved more than anything. A mother that I lost. And now I find out that was a complete lie. The family that I do have now, they're all a bunch of liars, so you'll have to excuse me if I don't jump on the Q bandwagon," he said, just as Brook Lynn and Dante walked in.

Outside the Metro Court ballroom, Michael told Wiley that they were going to have a sleepover at Grandma Carly's, and Amelia was already there. He left with Wiley as Willow and Drew tried to go after him. Jason appeared and warned them not to. Willow asked where Michael took Wiley, but Jason stood there silent.

Willow took a call from the sitter telling her that Michael also has Amelia when Nina, Carly, and Joss appeared. Jason told Carly that Michael had him take Amelia to her house. "You had no right. You took my baby," Willow shouted at Jason as she walked out with Drew behind her.

Everyone walked away, except Nina and Sonny. Nina begged her ex-husband to hear her out. "Sonny, can you talk to Michael? Make him see that a compromise is what's best?" she asked. "Nina, nobody wants a battle. But until or unless Willow gets away from Drew, this is the way it's gonna be," Sonny declared.

Sonny then got serious. "Is there any way you can get her to see that Drew is not a good person?" Sonny asked, pointing out that Drew has ruined Willow's life.

In Carly's living room, Sasha played with Amelia until Michael and Wiley arrived. Sasha was overjoyed to see Michael after all these months. Michael brought Wiley to bed, even though all he wanted to do was stay up and be with his dad, who told Wiley that his love for him was as big as the ocean.

When Michael returned downstairs, he found Sasha near the terrace, deep in thought. He thanked her for watching Amelia. "She knows me from the Qs, and Jason and I thought it would be a little less scary for her if I came with him when he went to pick her up at Drew's," Sasha explained.

Michael was also grateful that Sasha sent the sonogram photos when he was away. "Sasha, I want you to stop worrying now that I am back in town. You asked me not to be a part of the baby's life, so I won't be...unless you change your mind," he said.

Meanwhile, Willow and Drew stormed into the PCPD and told Mac that they needed to report a kidnapping. Mac was ready to put an Amber alert out for Amelia, but Drew told Mac they knew where she was, "because Jason was the one who kidnapped her."

Lulu and her brand-new liver chugged down a beer with Cody on her front porch, discussing the events from the night. Lulu asked how Dante was when Cody talked to him. "He's mad. He's confused. He's in shock," Cody relayed. He assured Lulu that he didn't mention her during his conversation with Dante. "I have no intention of hiding my involvement, but at least Dante knows the truth," Lulu said.

"I don't know, Lulu. Given the dramatic way that everything went down, I am not sure that we made the right call," Cody said. Lulu admitted that she was sure Gio had heard her talking to Lois. "Maybe confronting Lois at the Nurses' Ball wasn't the best idea," Cody stated as the understatement of the year.

Cody explained how his situation was different from Gio's and blamed himself for equating the two at first. "Growing up, I never really felt that I fit in. I always felt out of place. But Gio? He grew up with a family that adored him...He was happy. He was well-adjusted with strong roots he was proud of, and we just blew that all to hell," Cody said.

Lulu listened as Cody made her feel more guilty. "So many people's lives have just been ripped apart and will never be the same," he said. Lulu seemed confused, telling Cody that everything will change for the better because Dante knows, but Cody disagreed. "I just hope Brook Lynn and Dante found that kid and he's not out there all alone."

Lulu reasoned that eventually everyone's lives would be better. "Think about it. Gio believed he was an orphan. And now he has parents and grandparents and a brother...How could that be anything but good?"

Trina and Kai returned to her apartment and made small talk about the ball. She was glad he got an early release from the hospital to be there. "It was nice knowing you were in the audience," Trina said before pouring champagne, courtesy of Stella.

Trina mentioned she was worried about Gio. Kai said he understood what it was like to be cruising along with life, thinking everything was just fine, before it all crashed around him. Trina said she felt the same way when Spencer died, but Portia made her see that she can overcome her fears of being hurt like that again.

"I never thought I could feel so strongly about someone again, but then you came along," she said. She admitted she was attracted to him from the start, but wasn't sure what to do about it. They began kissing and decided to take things to the next level.
