Here is your General Hospital recap for Tuesday, May 6, 2025, when Gio felt the wrath of Dante.
What happened on General Hospital

In the GH waiting area, Gio told Dante that he wasn't with Rocco at the party. He didn't even know Rocco was there until he was already passed out. Dante asked why Gio didn't call Rocco's parents. "Well, I didn't want to get him in trouble," Gio said, which only served to anger Dante more.
Gio defended himself, saying he thought if he could sneak Rocco and Danny home, then everything would be okay. "You mean my drunk kid into the Quartermaine boat house," Dante said. Gio assumed that "sleep and water would do the trick."
"If something happens to my kid, it's on you," Dante warned a distraught Gio. Lois quickly stepped in and told Dante that she understood where he was coming from, but that Gio did what he thought was right. Gio spoke for himself and said he was doing his best to take care of Rocco.
Cody also defended Gio, insisting that Gio was doing a good job when Cody found them. Dante realized that Rocco would have died had Cody not stumbled upon the boys. As Dante laid into Gio some more, the doctor appeared and told Dante and Lulu that they could see Rocco.
The doctor spoke with them as Rocco slept. "Mr. Bell noticing his slow breathing likely saved his life tonight," the doctor said. Thankfully, Rocco would make a full recovery. When Rocco finally woke, he apologized to his parents for letting them down.
Cody later visited with Rocco, who was worried about how mad his dad was. Cody told Rocco that Dante also did stupid things as a teenager.
Back in the waiting area, Carly listened in as Gio spoke with Danny on the phone. He told Danny that Rocco was in the hospital and had nearly died. Danny blamed himself, but Gio said it was all on him. Carly asked Gio if she could talk to Danny, so Gio handed her his phone. She asked Danny to stay at the boathouse because he was on his way.
When Carly was gone, Lois gave Gio a big hug and told her that Dante was scared out of his mind and didn't mean the things he said to Gio. "Hey, Gio, you're a good kid, okay?" Lois said. Gio wasn't convinced. "Dante doesn't think so," he replied.
Dante soon reappeared and asked to talk to Gio privately. Lois followed along to represent Gio. However, Dante needed her to be quiet as he gave Gio the third degree. Dante told Gio he could have him arrested for giving alcohol to a minor. Gio insisted he didn't give Rocco a drink and didn't even know that Rocco was there until Danny found him to ask for help.
Dante wondered if Gio was lying, so Lois defended him. Dante didn't want to hear it and came down on Gio more, telling him he was an adult and needed to start thinking for himself. "An adult who stood there and watched my teenage, drunken son struggle to breathe. If Cody hadn't shown up when he did, he could very well be dead right now, and why? Because you were scared to get him in trouble. Come on, man, you should be ashamed of yourself," Dante spat.
"Stop it. You don't know what you're saying. You don't know who he really is," Lois blurted out as Lulu listened in.
Carly arrived at the boathouse and assured Danny that Rocco was going to be okay. She asked Danny what happened before telling him that he "had no business going to that party."
"All I wanted to do was go out and have fun, but before I knew it, things got out of my control," Danny admitted. He told Carly the party was his idea and he had to convince Rocco to go. Carly urged Danny to tell the adults what happened and take the blame.
"Crashing a college party and drinking? That was stupid. That was really stupid," she said. Carly pointed out that Jason gives Danny space to be himself, but he needed to earn the trust his dad had placed in him. Carly advised Danny to remember how awful he felt now so he'd never be tempted to do anything like this again.
In an exam room, Brad informed Drew that he'd tell him everything he needed to know about who drugged him for a price. Drew offered Brad half a million dollars, so Brad was ready to talk. "It was Dr. Robinson. She set you up. And I hope that you use this to blow her right out of the water so that nobody has to ever worry about her again," Brad said with glee.
Brad explained how Portia had Brad pull all of Drew's medical records a few weeks back and then asked him to get his hands on ketamine. "Now that you know, what are you going to do about it?" Brad asked. Drew then shocked Brad when he offered him a cool million to do one more thing for him.
Trina and Portia watched Kai from his hospital room door while he slept and recovered from his surgery. "Mom, I'm so nervous. Kai has so much riding on this," Trina said. Just then, Kai woke and called for Trina, who asked how he was feeling. "Like the hard part is over and nothing can stop me now," Kai answered.
Portia advised Kai to rest, "or else all of this will have been for nothing." After Portia left, Trina stayed behind to support Kai. He was convinced that he was going to play football again. He even wiggled his toes to show Trina that he wasn't paralyzed. Later, he was even able to take a few steps.
In the hospital parking lot, Ava got Ric all settled in her car to finally take him home. Ava was pleased that Alexis was paying her on a timely basis, so Ric had a confession to make. He had told Alexis he was in on the blackmail scheme so she'd include his cut.
Ava found this to be concerning. "The next time you make arrangements with Alexis, would you talk to me first?" she asked. Ava felt better when Ric told her that he'd set up a shell company to hide their windfall.
They proceeded to argue about who Kristina's real victim was, with Ava claiming she was the intended target and Ric pointing out that he was the injured party. Ava accused Ric of going rogue when he talked to Alexis. Ric assured Ava that the shell corporation was for both of them, complete with a company credit card.
Kristina met with Lucky at the Brown Dog. As she sat down, Alexis called, but Kristina ignored the call and told Lucky that she wasn't talking to her mother. "My mother's trying to have me committed," she said. Kristina explained that Molly had found the papers, but Alexis had changed her mind by then.
"Molly completely had my back," delusional Krisitna bragged. She then told Lucky what Alexis' reasoning was. "She knows I've been struggling and thought I could use some real help," Kristina explained.
"I'm wondering if maybe your mom wasn't completely wrong," Lucky suggested, much to Kristina's surprise. "Are you saying you think I'm crazy?" Kristina asked. Lucky assured her he did not think so, but understood why Alexis would believe Kristina needed a little extra help.
"It's okay to need help, Kristina. Taking care of your mental health is important. Most people just ignore it," Lucky advised. Kristina argued that she wasn't ignoring it because she was in therapy, so that solved everything. She felt Alexis' idea was a bit extreme. Lucky thought Krisitna should consider Alexis' point of view and show her mother some grace.
Lucky reminded Kristina she had promised to be better to her family and not tear them apart. "It sounds to me that maybe this is your chance to actually do it," Lucky said, hoping Kristina would forgive Alexis.
In her living room, a frustrated Alexis left a voicemail for Kristina just as Diane arrived. "The girls are livid. They are no longer talking to me because they found the papers that you drew up to have Kristina committed," Alexis said.
When Diane realized Molly had found the papers because of her, she offered to make things right, but Alexis told her not to. "These are my daughters, and it's on me to fix it," Alexis said. However, she wasn't hopeful that her girls would ever speak to her again.
Alexis finally confessed the truth to Diane. "Kristina never told me what she did, and she does not know that I know she tried to kill Ava," Alexis admitted. However, she left out the part about Ava blackmailing her, telling Diane she didn't want to know.
"Di, there has to be some way to fix this, but she can't know that I know what she did," Alexis said in a panic.
After Diane was gone, Alexis barely got a minute alone before Ric and Ava arrived. They were there just to show Ava the shell company he set up so it would look like Alexis was investing Ace's money. Ric was also demanding a second payment just for him. As Alexis argued with Ric and Ava, Kristina walked in and demanded to know what was going on.
