What happened on General Hospital

Chase entered the Q kitchen to find Brook Lynn packing away Lila's tea set and anything else that Tracy didn't want Ronnie to use. Brook Lynn wondered why Chase wasn't at work, so he told his wife that Anna had given him the day off. "Apparently, I can't be objective about one of the suspects," Chase admitted.
Brook Lynn realized that Chase was talking about Willow and understood why Anna didn't want him on the case. Chase worried that he had given Willow reason to shoot Drew by implying he might have had the judge killed.
Chase began talking about his relationship with Willow and their breakup. Chase found happiness again, but not Willow. "I keep wondering, how did I get so lucky, and how did things go so wrong for Willow?" Chase asked.
In Drew's hospital room, Willow assured Drew that she knew what she was doing when agreeing to Michael's terms to see her kids. "Until the police arrest Michael for shooting you, this is what I have to do," Willow said. Drew then dropped the bomb that he was going home. He asked Willow to move back in with him. Willow insisted that she wasn't going to rock the boat with Michael.
"He's just trying to control you to keep us apart. This is what this has always been about," Drew insisted. Willow refused to budge because seeing her kids was more important than living with Drew. Of course, Drew insisted this was all a ploy by Michael. If he didn't allow her to see the kids if she was living with Drew, that would only make her custody case stronger.
Willow refused to gamble with the chance to see her kids. Drew insisted that Michael would be arrested any minute, so she didn't need to worry. "All I'm asking is for you to believe in me, believe in us. I just know we can have a good life together, just like we planned. We could be a family," Drew gushed.
Somehow, Drew managed to snow Willow and she agreed to move back in with him.
Kai and Trina walked into Drew's house so they could cover their tracks before Drew arrived home. They did their best to remember every detail from the night that Drew was shot. They went over every move and everything they heard. They also remembered hearing "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star," which was Scout's ringtone.
"Scout may have saved her father's life," Kai marveled. Both were still worried about the baseball bat with Kai's prints all over it. They feared it would lead them to the contents of the safe. "And that could put a target on my parents," Trina said.
They just hoped that the cops would realize that Kai worked for Drew and was an athlete, meaning it wouldn't have been unusual for him to handle Drew's bat. "Trina, from now on, we forget that this ever happened," Kai insisted.
Portia was surprised when she arrived at Curtis' office and he told her that he wanted to hold off on the divorce. Portia was confused, so Curtis informed her that Drew might be getting ready to accuse one of them of shooting him. Portia claimed she didn't shoot Drew, but she did have a chance to kill him in the OR, but thought better of it.
Curtis claimed that he didn't shoot Drew either. "I'm not throwing my life away over Drew. Not then, not now," he said.
Portia wondered what else Curtis' source had to say about the Drew shooting suspects. Curtis answered: "If Drew can't get Michael arrested, he will exert pressure on the PCPD to come after us."
That's when Portia gave Curtis some news. She told him all about the PCPD searching Elizabeth's house and finding the proverbial smoking gun. Curtis realized that Willow was a suspect. Soon, Trina arrived to learn that her parents planned to divorce.
While Trina got bad news about her parents, Drew arrived home to find Kai at his service. Kai did his best to put on a good act.
In Anna's office, Dante and Anna discussed the warrants they had asked for. They planned to conduct their searches seamlessly so that no suspects could warn the others. Just then, 'Nathan' arrived and shared a warm reunion with Dante. 'Nathan' thanked Anna for breaking the news of his resurrection to his family.
'Nathan' started talking about James. "He's amazing. He's smart, he's funny, he's constantly surprising. He reminds me so much of Maxie."
After Dante left, 'Nathan' asked Anna for his job back. "I know the law. I know police work, and I would do anything I can to be a detective again," 'Nathan' stated. Unfortunately, Anna couldn't make that happen immediately. She assured him that plenty of people were supporting James. Anna wanted him to work on his recovery.
'Nathan' insisted that he was recovered, but Anna was realistic. "This is an extremely unusual circumstance. I think you need to face the possibility that you may never be cleared to rejoin the force," she said.
Anna pointed out that he's missed a lot during the seven years he'd been gone. "What we really need to know is what you have been doing all that time and who you've been associating with. You don't look like a man who's been asleep for seven years," Anna asserted.
When Anna and 'Nathan' hugged, each one had a suspicious look on their respective faces.
Michael met with Sonny in the Miller and Davis office. Sonny warned his son that he was going to need a lawyer. "In situations like this, you have to hope for the best and prepare for the worst, but you have to have your defense in place," Sonny said.
Sonny point-blank asked Michael if he shot Drew. Michael denied any allegation. Michael admitted that he was furious to learn about Willow reuniting with Drew, so he went to the Port Charles Grille for a few drinks, where he ran into Jacinda. Sonny felt that Jacinda was a flimsy alibi.
"I'm tellin' you, Dad, I'm not going to be the one who gets charged," Michael assured, but Sonny didn't buy it. "Do you know something I don't know?" Sonny asked. Michael just said he trusted Anna and Dante to follow the evidence to the right suspect.
Michael went on to talk about his marriage and how it was over long ago. Now, he was so fearful of allowing Willow around his kids, they had to have supervised visits. He vowed to do anything he could to keep Willow from gaining custody.
After Michael left, Dante popped in, so Sonny asked a pointed question. "Are the police going to arrest Michael?" he wondered. Dante reminded Sonny that Michael was a grown man whom Sonny couldn't shield forever. All Dante could tell Sonny was that there were several search warrants, but none of them were for Michael.
"But I don't think you're going to like who we are bringing in," Dante said before leaving.
Nina greeted Carly, who was behind that counter at Bobbie's. Nina informed Carly that Michael was allowing Willow to see the kids. Carly just wanted to be angry and accuse Nina of wrongdoing. The two women sparred, as they always do, with each one defending their individual adult children.
Nina made sure to get a dig in about Michael and Drew's shooting. "From what I read in the paper, Michael won't be free for long," Nina said. Carly pointed out that there was a mile-long list of people who wanted Drew dead, and Nina's name would be on it.
Carly wondered how humiliated Nina was when she realized that Drew chose her daughter over her. Nina said she didn't care, since she was only using Drew anyway. Nina also pointed out that Jacinda was likely a fake alibi for Michael since she would do anything for money.
Carly and Nina went back and forth as always, but it didn't accomplish anything. "You pushed this custody fight to its extreme, and there was Drew, just waiting in the wings. He couldn't wait to keep fighting...to play the hero...Maybe Michael didn't try to end things by putting a bullet in Drew's back. Maybe it was you," Nina accused.
Carly then accused Nina of doing the same as they went around in circles one more time. Carly claimed she never killed anyone. "I think my daughter Nelle might have something to say about that," Nina said, to which Carly replied, "Nelle was a baby-stealing psycho, just like her mother and her psycho sister, who's too unfit to raise children."
'Nathan' then walked in and ended their argument. While Nina and 'Nathan' sat down for a BLT, Sonny rushed in and told Carly to get her stuff. His plane was waiting because Sonny was convinced that Carly would be arrested. They also saw the cops right outside the door.
Carly and Sonny were shocked when Chase walked in and arrested Nina rather than Carly. Sonny was worried about the wrong ex-wife. The charges were "conspiracy to commit murder."
Back at the hospital, while Willow played with her kids under a therapist's and Michael's supervision, Anna walked in and arrested Willow.
