What happened on General Hospital

Drew hobbled his way to his front door on crutches to find Marty there. Marty had big news. The PCPD had made two arrests in his shooting case. Drew was sure Michael had been arrested, but Marty informed a shocked Drew that it was Willow.
Drew ordered Marty down to the station to help Willow, but Marty warned her that someone arrested for the attempted murder of a U.S. congressman would likely not make bail. "Willow is innocent. That's all that matters," Drew loudly declared. After Marty left, Drew made a phone call and ordered Sidwell to his house.
Although annoyed by Drew, Sidwell complied. When he arrived, Drew ordered Sidwell to get the PCPD to shift their focus to Michael and off of Willow. Drew wanted Sidwell to make it look like Michael bribed the judge, and then came after him.
Sidwell informed Drew that he was too late, as Drew was the number one suspect in the judge's murder. After all, the police found the wire transfer in Drew's safe. Sidwell admitted that there was nothing he could do to help Drew. It suddenly hit Drew that Sonny put the fake receipt in Drew's safe.
He was excited because that would give Michael a reason to shoot him. "He knew the police would search my safe and find that receipt, and then Sonny would be in the clear," Drew deduced. Drew then accused Sidwell of killing the judge, but all Sidwell could do was laugh and inform Drew that he had "evidence tying you to all manner of crimes."
"Are you threatening me?" Drew asked. Sidwell just scoffed. "No, I am just reminding you of your present situation," he replied. Drew realized that Sidwell had set him up. Sidwell promised Drew would be fine if he did whatever Sidwell wanted. "From now on, you work for me. Step out of line and your life goes to hell," Sidwell declared.
At the PCPD, Chase uncuffed Nina and allowed her one phone call. Ava, who was with Alexis in her office, was shocked to hear that Nina had been arrested. Alexis asked Ava what the charges were. As Nina said, "conspiracy to commit murder," she saw Willow being brought in.
Nina was horrified to learn that Willow had been arrested in front of Wiley and Amelia. Nina began shouting and demanding to see Willow, who was brought into the interrogation room. Nina accused Justine Turner of doing the Corinthos and Quartermaine dirty work, but Justine warned her that she should keep quiet because she was not helping her case.
Just then, Marco arrived and asked for a moment alone with Nina, who was only concerned about Willow. "Mr. Rios, my daughter is in that interrogation room being railroaded by the police," she cried. Nina wanted Marco to represent Willow, but Marty walked in just in time to take Willow's case.
Justine later showed Marco and Nina the footage from Nina's apartment building security that proved Nina was not with Willow when Drew was shot. Justine used Nina's past indiscretions against her, like when Nina induced Ava's labor and kidnapped Avery.
Willow was also hysterical as she begged Dante to tell her what evidence the police had against her. "I was with my children for the first time in months, and you just ripped me away from them," Willow whined. She claimed she was with her mother when Drew was shot, but Willow also had no idea how to find her lawyer, Ric.
When Marty arrived, Dante gave Willow some time alone with her lawyer. Willow was hysterically crying at that point. He calmed her down and explained the gun the PCPD had found in her room at Elizabeth's place. "That's impossible," Willow quickly declared.
After Marty left to arrange bail, Chase checked in on Willow and told her that her kids were okay. Willow fell into Chase's arms in tears and told him that Michael set her up. "He planted that gun," she said.
Carly and Sonny found Michael in the Q kitchen and told him they saw Chase arrest Nina. Michael added that Willow had been arrested. Sonny wanted to know if Michael was aware that was going to happen. Michael claimed he had no idea.
"Dante arrested Willow in front of the kids during a therapy session. Do you really think I planned something like that?" Michael asked.
Sonny wanted to find out what kind of evidence the PCPD had, but Michael said that wasn't necessary because he wasn't involved with the shooting. "I was surprised that Willow got arrested, but when I heard that Nina was involved, it seemed a lot more possible to me," he said.
Diane dropped in and told them that she heard that the gun was Edward Quartermaine's gun was found at Liz's house. She also heard that Nina and Willow's alibi had fallen apart. Sonny found the whole thing to be suspicious and wondered why Willow would take Edward's gun when she hadn't lived there in months.
Michael pointed out that Willow knew where all the security cameras were and could get in and out as she pleased. Sonny felt the gun had to have been planted. "Has anyone been to Elizabeth's house in the last few days?" Sonny asked, looking right at Carly. "If you want me to answer that, you're going to have to marry me," Carly quipped.
Carly admitted she had been to Elizabeth's house, but she certainly did not plant a gun. Diane then asked Michael if he'd spent time at Elizabeth's place recently. Michael admitted he had gone to Elizabeth's to tell Willow he wanted her to have supervised visits with the kids. He also confessed he had a few minutes alone at her house, which was after Anna showed up with the faulty search warrant.
Cody approached Molly's table at Bobbie's, where they made some small talk about Outback. Molly then asked Cody if he had ever used a lariat with his horses. Cody wondered if Molly planned to give up the law for the rodeo. Cody sat down with Molly and told her all about his rodeo days.
Cody walked away when Molly got a call, but soon Liz arrived and sat down with Molly. She told Molly about Willow's arrest. Liz wanted to find Ric because she thought he was the best lawyer for Willow. Liz no longer thought Ric's digital detox story made sense. Molly was starting to get nervous and vowed to do whatever it took to find her father.
Elizabeth noticed Outback outside her mother's cellar door and wondered what the pooch was doing there. She opened the door and walked down the stairs to find an unconscious Ric. She removed the ball gag from Ric's mouth, woke him, and untied him from the gurney.
As Liz checked if Ric was okay, Kristina came down the stairs, only for us to learn that Ric was dreaming. Kristina was now standing there asking him to wake up.
Kristina fed Ric his liquid lunch and informed him that he would be released in a day. Ric was just annoyed. "How does it feel to know that you're no better than I am, Kristina?" Ric asked.
"I will never forgive myself for cutting those brake lines, but I also know I will never be that desperate or that broken again," Kristina said.
Ric continued to taunt Kristina and asked a very pointed question: "How are you going to look Molly in the eye after you've held me prisoner like this?" Kristina didn't feel guilty about locking Ric up and told him that he was there because he was greedy and had blackmailed Alexis. She then put the ball gag in Ric's mouth and walked away.
Later, Outback really did find Alexis' cellar when Cody dropped by to give Molly a rodeo rope. When Ric heard the dog, he began screaming for someone to help him.
In Alexis' office, Ava and Alexis discussed Ava's phone call. Alexis didn't want to go down to the PCPD, so she sent Marco instead. Once alone, Alexis reminded Ava that their little partnership would be over by tomorrow once all the extorted money was back where it belonged and Ric was free.
Alexis wondered if they could finally come to peace with one another and Kristina. Ava thought this whole Ric ordeal had helped them get there. "I think that you, I, and Kristina have learned that holding a grudge that eats us alive can help us do desperate things. When we let Ric go tomorrow, I think it would be fine if we let go of any remaining animosity between us," Alexis told a surprised Ava.
When Kristina arrived, Ava handed her the keys to Ric's crashed car as promised, although the money transfer had not yet gone through. She'd decided she trusted Alexis and Kristina. "As far as I'm concerned, this vendetta, this thing between us. Kristina, it's over," Ava said.
