What happened on General Hospital

Carly admired a card and flowers from Brennan when Jason knocked on the door. She summoned him there to speak, but she forewarned him that he would be mad. She led off by telling Jason that Josslyn was fine, but she confirmed Vaughn was a WSB agent. Jason wanted to know Carly's source of information, and she revealed it was Josslyn. He was surprised that Josslyn revealed it herself and brought Carly's attention to how Brennan kept it from her.
Jason stopped Carly in her tracks and shouted, "Brennan is lying to you. He's been lying to you about everything." Carly freaked out on Jason and accused him of always assuming the worst about Brennan. He asked her to stop, so she didn’t feel compelled to lie to him, and he agreed. He said she needed to know, and he floored her and exposed, "Josslyn is in the WSB."
Carly said none of that made sense, but Jason asserted that he was physically on assignment at the resort in Croatia, where he found Britt. He exposed everything about her secret mission with Vaughn that was executed under Jack's orders. Carly denied the possibility that Josslyn could be WSB and said none of it made sense. Jason warned her that Josslyn lied to her and that her Australia vacation was just a WSB cover.
Carly told Jason that Josslyn had no chance of being recruited by Brennan, but Jason explained further. The harder Carly cried, the more Jason expressed his apologies. However, Carly realized that Britt had been home for a month, so Jason kept this from her the entire time. He never lied to Carly before, and he wouldn't let Brennan keep someone he loved in danger any further.
Jason said Anna pointed him toward Britt in Croatia, which is how she found Josslyn as an undercover agent. Carly wanted to put an end to everything, but Jason cautioned her against it. Blowing her cover could kill her. Her hands were tied.2 She smashed the flowers from Brennan and let the anger take hold.
At Valentin's prison, Brennan demanded to know everything there was to know about Cesar Faison's last project. Valentin wanted a new condition added before he revealed anything, and Anna was the object of his request. Charlotte knew it was a tall task, and although Lulu agreed that it was a lot to fly across the world for a 30-minute visit, she'd do anything for her daughter.
Brennan told Valentin that Anna wanted nothing to do with him, and Valentin brought up Carly to get a rise out of him. Threatening Valnetin wasn't going to get Brennan the answers he wanted. He also couldn't fathom why he wanted any information on someone who had been deceased for several years.
To Valentin's slight shock, Brennan revealed to him that both Britt and Nathan recently rose from the dead and returned to Port Charles. He questioned if he thought Faison would come back to life as well. However, Brennan's biggest concern was not about him being resurrected but rather that his work would be the next thing to follow.
Brennan suspected that the Five Poppies was somehow connected to Faison. Valentin said Britt would've only been a cog in the wheel because he didn't trust his daughter. If this had happened, and Faison was behind it, he wasn't working alone.
Brennan demanded to know more about this, but Valentin wanted Charlotte to be protected. Now, Valentine admitted the person responsible wasn't Faison himself, but he didn't divulge any additional information.
Seeing her father in shackles was still a tough sight for Charlotte ot behold. She thought Valentin would've been more changed by prison, but he still was the same father she knew and loved. Lulu tried to be supportive, which Charlotte expressed appreciation for.
Dante told Anna he had an update on Valentine. He revealed that Brennan allowed Charlotte and Lulu to visit him. However, Anna knew Lulu was smart enough to know there was an ulterior motive for Brennan allowing the visit. She said there was something big he wanted from his shackled former pal. Anna asserted that Charlotte would’ve made the move herself behind her mother's back if she didn't agree.
Anna hoped the trust in Charlotte would keep her safe, but Dante wanted everyone safe and sound in Port Charles. Anna was distracted and confused because she didn't like the timing of the happenings around town. She knew the facts of Faison's death, but she connected Brennan's trip to Valentin to his children rising from the dead. She recognized his work, and no facts presented before her changed that.
Dante brought up Peter August, and he remembered how close Peter and Valentin were in the past. He was also confused about Britt and Faison's previous work together. Still, Anna recalled how Faison was more fixated on Nathan than anyone. Nothing added up.
They didn't think Nathan would have anything to do with Faison or his work. Anna felt like the string of coincidences was too much to ignore. They knew Britt faked her own death, so it wasn’t impossible for Faison to do the same.
On the plane ride home from Valentin's prison, Lulu tried to comfort Charlotte after pointing out how difficult it was. Charlotte was barely listening to Lulu, but she asked her to put her phone down and talk. Charlotte questioned when she'd get another chance to see her father again. She was willing to risk everything for another opportunity to see him, but Lulu, as her mother, laid out the true dangers that she faced.
She reminded Charlotte that Valentin had enemies, which made her vulnerable to their attacks. Lulu explained that in many circumstances, she served as the perfect leverage against him. Lulu wanted to know the truth at all times and urged Charlotte to always be honest with her. After her mother finished, Charlotte secretly recalled her father warning her not to trust Britt and to ensure Rocco didn't either.
Elizabeth asked Felicia how she was doing, and she was flustered because of the saga between Nathan and James. She was worried that Nathan would want James to move in with him. Elizabeth wondered if Nathan expressed a desire to do that, and Felicia knew Spinelli was nervous that it would happen. They felt as if being at home remained the best place for James, especially with Maxie indisposed in a coma.
Felica was urged by Elizabeth to encourage Nthan to be a part of his son's life without actually taking him away.
Nathan is a stranger to James, and despite being a good guy, not knowing anything about the last seven years is troubling. Legally, Nathan could do whatever he wanted, so everyone was on high alert for his next move.
At the Metro Court, Nathan and Liesl spotted Britt, and although his mother wanted to keep a healthy distance from Britt, Nathan had other plans. He sauntered over to his sister and asked her to join them. She thanked him for the invite, but she politely declined. She tried to walk away, but Liesl extended the invite anyway, against her better judgment. Britt passed, saying, "Your poignant invite just has me too choked up to eat now. I'll just grab a BLT from Bobbie's later and eat it a lot in my hovel."
Britt went to leave the restaurant, but Rocco was standing on the elevator, surprised to see her. He told her he was there to meet Liesl and Nathan, and Liesel introduced him to Rocco as his "Uncle Nathan." Britt's weariness about Nathan caused her to make a 180, and she decided to join them for dinner.
Nathan was sick of the tension between Liesl and Britt at the dinner and asked to speak with her privately. Rocco asked Britt if she was mad at him. Nathan wanted answers about why Liesl was throwing so many barbs at Britt, but she couldn't get past what Britt had put everyone through.
Rocco wanted Britt to give Liesl more time to come to her senses toward forgiveness. He informed her about how he previously bonded with Liesl over her, and they'd sit and talk about the woman she was before everyone thought she was dead. On the other side of the restaurant, Nathan wanted Liesl to be grateful that she had a second chance with both of her children.
Cody wanted to escape the madness at Alexis' house, but Molly met him at the door. Ric called out to Molly, which led her straight into his arms. She asked what happened to him and expressed how worried she'd been. Molly wanted to know why he'd been there, and Alexis begged her daughter not to be upset. She missed him so much, and Ric's return meant her family was complete.
She berated him for dropping off the face of the Earth, and in a split-second decision, Ric elected to lie about what happened. He admitted that Cody saved his life, and then he shut the computer and allowed the money transfer to be completed. He concocted a lie about joining a cult, which threw Molly.
Ric made up a story about how she drank a tea at the digital detox, and although he didn't know it at the time, he went on a drug trip. Ric said Cody found him lost in the woods, and his dog was responsible for saving him. He dragged Cody deep into the lies and told Molly how Cody administered a large amount of first aid to ensure Ric survived.
Ava and Kristina profusely thanked Cody for saving Ric's life and expressed a desire to return to normalcy. Molly urged Ric to go to the hospital, and Alexis reminded him to hydrate before shoving him out the door. Before they dissected everything, they remembered to check the status of the money transfer.
The money was back where it belonged, and Ric's power over the three women had evaporated. Alexis knew that Ric couldn't expose himself without also giving himself up. Alexis knew it wasn't over because Ric would ultimately want revenge when Laura came sniffing around for questions about how the money reemerged.
Ric arrived at the hospital, and Elizabeth was shocked but relieved to finally see him. She wanted to take care of him, but she wouldn't have it any other way. She insisted he go to a room, so she could help her. She tried to fill him in on Willow, but he confessed he couldn't continue with her believing a lie.
His confession was about how Nina paid him to defend Willow, but he didn't want to keep that from her anymore. She felt like this was a step up for him because normally, he wouldn't hand over that information without being told.
