What happened on General Hospital

Anna called Britt into her office to hand her a bill for the manpower and resources the PCPD wasted investigating her alleged death in 2023. Britt handed the file back to Anna and told her that she couldn't afford it. Anna said she'd forget all about the bill if Britt told her who else was in on the plan to fake her death.
"What were you doing when you were hiding at the Five Poppies, and who is in charge?" Anna demanded to know. Britt reminded Anna that the Five Poppies was out of her jurisdiction. Anna informed Britt that she was only alive because she sent Jason to find her. "I'm not trying to take you down, Britt. I'm trying to help you," Anna said.
After Britt refused to say much, Anna asked a pointed question: "You have to tell me. Is your father still alive and running the Five Poppies?" Britt angrily insisted that Faison was dead.
Nathan came by Jack's office at his behest. Jack told Nathan that he thought he could answer some questions about where he had been for the past seven years. Jack showed Nathan footage from his accident and right before his accident. "You can see you were on a phone call, but no phone was found on you or in the car," Jack said.
Nathan still remembered nothing. He wondered why the WSB was investigating. Jack pointed out that when someone turns up alive after being dead for seven years, it warrants an investigation, "especially if that person is the son of Liesl Obrecht and Cesar Faison."
Jack also informed Nathan that his recent hospital records showed no traumatic brain injury or any reason he would have no memory. "I have reason to believe Cesar Faison's syndicate is still in operation. If you were involved in it, now would be the time to tell me," Jack advised.
He offered Nathan full immunity if Nathan gave him information. Nathan was angry, telling Jack that Faison was never a father to him. He was just a career criminal. "As Anna. Unlike you, she knows me, and she'll tell you that I'd help if I could. But I am glad we met. Now I know who you are. Threaten me all you like. Just know I don't like being pushed around," Nathan said as he stormed out.
Josslyn was Jack's next visitor. She watched a video of Jack's meeting with Nathan and concluded that Nathan was telling the truth. Jack didn't buy it.
At Steinmauer, Valentin was surprised when his dark-haired visitor turned out to be Carly in disguise. "When I heard that my lawyer was here, I was not expecting to see you," Valentin said.
"Barbara Saunders. And there have been some recent developments that may result in your early release," she said. Carly got the guard to leave, explaining this was a private attorney-client matter.
Valentin deduced that Carly was keeping this meeting from Jack and asked her why. He also asked about Carly's relationship status. "As far as Jack is concerned, I am knee-deep in work and won't be seeing him for a few days," Carly said. She confirmed that nobody else knew she was there.
Carly brought up the fact that Valentin tried to kill her earlier this year. Valentin countered that it was all Jack's fault, as he sent someone to shoot him when Charlotte was right there. "With Jack around, my daughter was not safe," Valentin said.
"I know exactly what you mean," Carly countered, surprising Valentin. He asked if something had happened to Josslyn. "Let's just say I plan on destroying Jack Brennan, you wanna help?" Carly asked.
Valentin wanted to know what happened and told Carly that unless he knew, he would not help her. "What would you do if Jack recruited your daughter to the WSB?" Carly asked. Without missing a beat, Valentin gave the right answer: "I wouldn't rest until he was six feet under."
Valentin explained to Carly that some recruits wanted to join and some had to be convinced, either by using blackmail or a weakness like a personal tragedy they'd want to avenge. Carly explained what happened with Dex and Cyrus Renault, and how Josslyn left town right after Cyrus vanished.
"Do you think Jack had something to do with it?" Carly asked, regarding Cyrus' disappearance. "Jack or maybe someone else. Possibly your daughter," Valentin suggested. He added, "The WSB exploits personal vendettas all the time to test new recruits, so Brennan would have pointed her in Cyrus' direction."
By the time Valentin explained what probably happened, Carly asked, "Are you telling me that the man I was falling in love with turned my daughter into a killer?"
Valentin insisted that together, they could bring down Jack, especially since Carly was the only person Jack felt he could trust. "The first thing you do is make him think you love him more than anyone in the world," Valentin said.
At Lulu's house, Rocco called out to Charlotte that she had forgotten her phone. As they argued about it, they were surprised to hear Tracy shout, "Could you just hit the mute button?" They looked over and found Tracy on the couch in her pajamas with a sleep mask.
Lulu explained to her two teens that Tracy would be staying with them for a while. Charlotte didn't want to share a bathroom with her and told Tracy to go use the bathrooms she has in that mansion she lives in. Charlotte found it amusing to learn that Tracy had been kicked out.
After the kids went outside, Lulu explained to Tracy that teenagers are loud. Tracy understood, considering all the kids she lived with at the Qs. "I lived with Danny and Rocco. I know their ways," she said.
As the two women talked, Tracy surmised that Ronnie framed her. "Just admit that you spiked her drink," Lulu said. Tracy refused to admit to something she didn't do. Lulu had to admit to her that she hadn't found any dirt on Ronnie. "She lives a quiet, law-abiding life," Lulu said.
Tracy didn't believe her. "I know Monica as well as I know myself. And there is no way she would give this woman a dog house, much less our family estate. That woman is hiding something. I know it," Tracy insisted. "Lulu, that will is a forgery."
On the porch, Charlotte was not happy about Tracy. "She can't just stay at someone else's house and then start ordering the people who live there around," Charlotte said. Rocco asked Charlotte to cut Tracy some slack.
"She just lost Dr. Quartermaine and got kicked out of her home," Rocco stressed.
Charlotte admitted she might have been a little too hard on Tracy. She was just a little out of sorts after seeing her dad. She then told Rocco that Valentin wanted him to know that he couldn't trust Britt. The kids were then distracted when they saw a moving truck outside with Tracy's many things.
Sonny was surprised to open his front door to find Lois standing there. She mentioned that Sonny was the only person who didn't tell her to get out of town last May, so she hoped he'd be as gracious as last time.
"Last time? You mean when I found out you'd lied to me and my family for 20 years?" Sonny asked. That didn't stop Sonny from giving Lois a hug and inviting her in. Lois explained that she and Brook Lynn spoke while in Atlantic City, but it wasn't a big reconciliation.
"I do need your help repairing Brook Lynn's relationship with her son. Gio is pushing her away and I gotta make that right," Lois said. She was relieved to learn that Gio was now living with Sonny. However, she was sad to hear he had not bought a new violin and didn't want to go back to school just yet.
"Music. It's such a big part of who he is," Lois sighed. "It was a gift from Camilla." Sonny replied, "He associates that with all the lies he has been told his whole life."
Lois begged Sonny to get her and Gio in the same room to talk, but Sonny warned her there was no guarantee that anything would change.
Joss ran into Emma outside Bobbie's and stopped her to talk, something Emma did not seem happy about. Josslyn once again advised Emma not to work for Professor Dalton, but Emma didn't want to hear it. Josslyn warned Emma that Dalton was dangerous. "I need you to trust me on this. Please," Josslyn pleaded.
"You are the least trustworthy person I've ever met," Emma said. "As soon as you bailed on Dalton, I slid in and saved the day. And I plan on taking full advantage of that." Josslyn begged Emma not to get any more involved with Dalton than she already was.
Inside, Gio brought Ronnie tomato juice and hot sauce to nurse her hangover. Brook Lynn offered to buy Ronnie breakfast. "It's the least I can do after what my grandmother did."
"What did Tracy do now?" Gio asked. Ronnie explained that Tracy kept accusing her of being drunk, but that she believed Tracy had drugged her tea. "I think the tea party was Granny's way of showing Ronnie didn't belong here," Brook Lynn said.
Gio was shocked to hear that Ronnie had evicted Tracy from her family's house. "It's good that you set boundaries because if you don't, people just walk all over you," Gio said.
When Emma walked in, Gio greeted her and told Emma that he was reminded of how entitled Tracy could be. Emma mentioned that she thought Joss was also entitled. Emma told him that Joss once again tried to convince her not to work for Dalton. She thought that Joss just wanted her job back.
"Talking to Josslyn reminded me that we put Dalton on the back burner for too long. It's time to show the world who he is," she said. They once again made plans to break into Dalton's lab. Soon, Sonny called and asked Gio to come to the house to see Lois.
Back at the table, Brook Lynn told Ronnie the whole sordid tale of Gio just learning he was her son. Ronnie noted that she gave Gio an open invitation to move back to the mansion. Brook Lynn had an idea to draw him in. She would use Outback to get Gio and Emma to visit.
