Anna was talking to Chase in her office at the PCPD. She said she would be unable to make any arrests until they found Edward Quartermaine’s gun, which may lead them to the shooter. Chase left to find out what was holding up the search warrant as Emma arrived.

Emma wanted to talk about her kiss with Gio. She was afraid she’d ruined their friendship and was worried that Gio regretted kissing her because he wasn’t interested. Anna pointed out that Emma really didn’t know how Gio felt, but she thought he was mortified that she kissed him and ruined everything.

Anna advised her to stop assuming she knew how or what Gio was feeling and told Emma she needed to talk to him. She pointed out that, regardless of what he said, Emma would at least know the truth. As they were ending their conversation, Chase came in and said he got the warrant.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Alexis was reading the remainder of Monica’s will. To Michael, she left her horses, her cars, and the family yacht. In a final move that shocked everyone, Monica left the house to Ronnie! Tracy was incredulous and reminded everyone that Monica had repeatedly said she was leaving the estate to Michael. Alexis said Monica amended the will in January, but she wasn’t the one who actually drew it up. She said Monica used Edward’s lawyer, Howard Wentworth.

Outraged, Tracy said Ronnie would only get the house over her dead body, which Ronnie said was an acceptable term for her. Michael encouraged Tracy to accept that Monica wanted to take care of her sister, but she remained incensed, claimed the will was fake, and said it would never hold up in court.

Tracy accused Ronnie of orchestrating the whole thing and called her a con woman. Olivia commented that maybe Monica felt Michael was already rich enough. Michael acknowledged that he and his family had more than enough. Tracy felt it was all too convenient, and there wasn’t any actual proof that Ronnie and Monica had reconciled. Ronnie brought out her letters as proof, but Tracy said they could be forged. Tracy then asked Brook Lynn to go look in Monica’s room to see if she could find Ronnie’s letters.

Jason asked Ronnie why she and Monica had a falling out. Ronnie said that when she turned 16, she wanted to leave her horrible foster family, so she went to see Monica, who by then was an intern and Mrs. Jeff Webber. She felt that Monica didn’t want any embarrassing reminders of her past and just wanted her to disappear, which she claimed to do.

Ned said Monica never talked about her past at all, but Tracy said he was just falling for Ronnie’s sob story. She told Alexis she was officially contesting the will, but Alexis reminded her that she was not her lawyer. The doorbell rang.

Anna and Chase were at the door with a warrant to search the premises. Tracy wanted Alexis to do something, but Alexis once again reminded her that she wasn’t her lawyer. Alexis felt like it was a good time to leave. Once outside, she called Sonny and asked that he and Carly meet her at Bobbie’s.

Back inside, Anna started to show the warrant to Michael, whom she assumed was the new owner of the house. Ronnie let her know that she was actually the new owner and, therefore, the warrant should be served to her. Tracy remarked that somebody had “been watching Law and Order.” Anna wanted to start the search right away, but Ronnie felt she’d better read the warrant before they began.

Everyone sat and watched as Ronnie thoroughly read through the search warrant. To everyone’s surprise, Ronnie pointed out that the address on the warrant said 65 (not 66) Harbor View Drive, which was the house across the street. She told Anna she wouldn’t be searching the estate today.

At Volonino’s Gym, Sonny was giving a boxing lesson to Gio. He stopped when he could tell Gio wasn’t mentally present, though. Gio admitted to thinking about Emma. He was trying to figure out if Emma kissed him for real or did it because she was just happy that he’d found Outback. Gio said the kiss was great, and he was happy it happened, but he didn’t like that things were weird between him and Emma now, and she was avoiding him.

When Gio left to take a break, Sonny went over to ADA Turner, who was there for a kickboxing class. Sonny mentioned Drew’s case, but she said she wouldn’t share any details. They were mildly flirtatious before Sonny walked off. She got a call informing her that the warrant to search the Quartermaine estate had gone through.

Back working with Sonny in the ring, Gio asked his grandfather if he could live with him. He realized how much he liked Emma and feared it would be too hard to be around her if she didn’t feel the same. Sonny said he was welcome, but he wanted him to talk with Emma first, who had just walked in.

Sonny went over to talk with Turner while Gio went to talk with Emma. Turner commented that Gio and Emma were at the age where love felt like the answer to everything, to which Sonny said, “Isn’t it?” He got a call from Alexis and left.

Emma and Gio had an awkward and clunky conversation. He told her about the memorial service, hearing stories about Monica, and talking to Dante and Brook Lynn. The two danced around their feelings, and each thought the other wasn’t really interested in being more than friends. Gio caught Emma off guard when he said it was time for him to move out.

Britt was antagonizing Carly at Bobbie’s. Afraid Britt was going to blow her cover, Josslyn intervened and told her mom to back off because she was being out of line. Further taunting them, Britt said, “Carly should know the truth, don’t you think?” Joss covered by saying they knew Britt saved her life and they would always be aware of their debt to her.

Britt responded by asking Carly, “Your daughter’s life is worth more than the rent on that crappy little room, don’t you think?” After Britt left, Carly and Joss sat down to talk. Carly admitted that Britt drove her crazy because of Jason and went on to complain about her. Joss asked her if she was jealous of Britt.

Carly said she wasn’t jealous but nervously rambled on. She said she and Jason had a bond that went beyond friendship, and they trusted each other in a way that was very deep. When Joss asked what the problem was then, she said she didn’t know. She’d thought Jason accepted her relationship with Jack, but now she wasn’t sure. When Joss asked why not, Carly said Jason left the country to find Britt without telling her, and she could feel that something had happened while he was away, but he wouldn’t tell her about it either.

Later, after Joss left, Sonny arrived right before Alexis. Getting straight to the point, Alexis told Sonny and Carly about Anna going into the Quartermaines with a search warrant to look for a gun registered to Edward. Sonny guessed it was the weapon used to shoot Drew. As a parent, Alexis knew Sonny and Carly would want a chance to protect Michael, who she guessed was now the prime suspect. She said if either of them had anything that could exonerate Michael, now was the time to produce it.

In Portia’s hospital office, she was still dizzy and sitting in a chair while Elizabeth checked her pulse. Portia was trying to figure out why she was feeling in such a way. Elizabeth took her aback when she asked if there was any chance she was pregnant. Portia sidestepped and said it was probably stress. After Elizabeth left, Portia flashed back to having sex with Curtis and then with Isaiah within a close time frame.

On the tenth floor, Isaiah stopped Curtis before he could head toward Drew’s room. He told Curtis that he needed to show some consideration for Portia. After a bit of back-and-forth, Isaiah cautioned Curtis that if he fought with Drew at the hospital, he’d be putting Dr. Robinson in an impossible situation. Further, he said it wouldn’t be the first time he’d done that.

Curtis told Isaiah he clearly didn’t have a clue who he was, but seemed to have a problem with him and wanted to know why. Britt walked up to intervene and handed Isaiah his scans. After Isaiah walked off, Curtis said he was there to see Drew. Britt reminded him that Drew was a high-profile and extremely litigious patient and, if Curtis were to cause him any kind of setback, it would put the hospital in a bad position. Elizabeth walked up and reminded Britt that she should be back in the ER.

Portia had just walked back into her office when Isaiah came in. He told her about getting into it with Curtis. After ranting a bit about how he thought Curtis never thought about his actions, Portia told him she wished he hadn’t confronted Curtis, and she didn’t need him to protect her from Curtis’s actions. Isaiah realized he overstepped. Portia asked that, in the future, he would avoid interacting with Curtis as much as humanely possible. After he left, Porta pulled a pregnancy test out of her pocket. She took the test and discovered she, indeed, was pregnant. She put the test down on the desk when Curtis walked in.

Back at the nurse’s station, Elizabeth let Isaiah know that she heard about him confronting Curtis on Portia’s behalf. He acknowledged it wasn’t one of his finer moments, but said he was sick of watching Curtis throw his weight around to get what he wanted. Elizabeth gave him some friendly advice not to get too involved in Portia’s personal life and said it was one line he shouldn’t cross.

After she left Bobbie’s, Joss went to see Britt at the hospital. Britt maintained her petulant attitude when Joss said that her mom couldn’t find out she was in the WSB. She said her silence was going to cost and wanted an all-expenses-paid suite at the Metro Court.
