Here’s your General Hospital recap on what happened in Port Charles today, Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
What happened on General Hospital

Britt woke up in the boarding room upstairs at Bobbie’s. After realizing where she was, she got up and complained as she moved around the room. She went to shower down the hall and was locked out of the room when she returned. Yelling that the door hated her, she stomped downstairs.
Meanwhile, Jason came to see Carly. Preparing for the prospect of Drew blaming Michael for his shooting, Carly needed Jason to find a way to protect her son. Even though she didn’t have any proof, she feared there was a chance Michael was actually guilty and wanted Jason to talk to him to find out for sure.
Jason was resistant, but Carly felt he owed her. She reminded him that he kept Michael’s secret about Sasha and the baby. She said she understood why he did it, but wanted no more secrets. “From now on,” she said, “if you find out something about one of my kids, you have to tell me.” Jason worked to calm Carly’s worries and assured her everything would be fine with Michael.
Carly wished he’d been home when everything happened because he could have been a voice of reason instead of on the other side of the world trying to find Britt. But, she said she was happy he was there now. As she started to talk about how crazy it was Britt was alive, Britt stormed up to the table in her towel to yell at Jason for not telling her the room door locked automatically.
Britt and Carly had a semi-tense exchange. After Britt complained about Jason’s dumpy room above the greasy spoon, Carly let her know she was the owner. Britt started to insult her and the place again. Jason intervened as they began sniping at each other, but then he got a call from Tracy that he needed to get home right away.
After he left, Carly and Britt poked at each other some more. Britt got snarkier when Carly talked about the trust she and Jason had, which made Carly feel like Britt knew something she wasn’t telling her.
Chase was pouring a glass of orange juice in the Quartermaine kitchen when Dante came in from his 8-mile run. Chase asked Dante if he thought Drew killed Judge Heran or, at least, had her killed to cover his tracks. Dante said they didn’t know anything for sure yet. Dante and Chase sat to discuss the possibilities of and motives for what Drew may or may not have done. Dante felt the more they dug into the shooting, the uglier and messier it got.
Wiley came downstairs to the foyer with Michael. He was excited to show his first day of school outfit and backpack to Brook Lynn and Tracy. When the doorbell rang, Wiley said he would get it. To everyone’s surprise, it was Willow with Scout. Wiley hugged Willow, who somehow acted surprised to see him.
Scout wanted to see her Grandma Monica before her first day of school because she said it was a tradition for her grandma to wish her luck, and she wanted a hug swap since she hadn’t seen her in a while. Wiley said Monica did the same thing with him and asked, “Mommy, will you take me and Scout to see Grandma Monica together?”
Willow said, “Of course”, but Tracy said, “No way”. Brook Lynn quickly intervened to say she would take the kids up there because she needed to see Grandma Monica and wanted to get in on the hug swap as well. After they went upstairs, Tracy led Willow and Michael into the living room to talk.
Tracy told Willow that using Monica’s tradition with Scout to get into the house was unconscionable. Willow sniped back at Tracy and expected Michael to defend her, but he didn’t. Willow felt the new judge for their custody case would be more sympathetic to her as the kids’ mother, and told him he should take the chance to make nice. Michael told her that, until a new judge was assigned, Heran’s ruling stood. Further, he said he no longer felt bad for her about Heran’s ruling because she was an unfit mother. Indignant, Willow said Drew thought Michael shot him, and when the police proved it, she would have custody of their children. She then vowed to make sure he never laid eyes on Wiley and Amelia again.
Michael told Willow that what she just described was pure fantasy, and she was the only one living in it. He said he did not shoot Drew, and he wasn’t going anywhere. Brook Lynn came in with Wylie and Scout. Off camera, they left to take the kids to school.
After Dante left to see Cody, Chase was ruminating over one of his last conversations with Willow when Brook Lynn came into the kitchen, complaining about what Willow had just done. Chase put the blame for all of Willow’s bad decisions on Drew.
Frustrated, Chase said he had new information about Drew, which could keep Willow from destroying her life, but if he told her, it would violate his duties as a cop. Brook Lynn wanted him to consider that everyone had tried to talk sense into Willow, and she stayed with Drew even after he slept with Nina. She asked Chase what made him think talking to her now would be any different. Chase maintained that his new information was different because Willow would never forgive Drew for what he’d done. She then asked if he was willing to stake his career on it, but said whatever he decided to do, she was with him and loved him.
After leaving Bobbie’s, Jason arrived to find Tracy in the living room. Tracy told him she saw Michael fleeing the scene of the crime on the night Drew was shot. She said Michael was parked up the street from Drew’s and was pulling out when she arrived. She didn’t automatically assume he was guilty, but told Jason they couldn’t let him get convicted for it regardless. Before he could leave, she asked if he could tell Monica about Drew being shot. Jason said he would go break the news as gently as he could to Monica.
After having already left and taken Scout to school, Willow went back to the Quartermaines, but this time, she was going to sneak in through the kitchen. As she stood at the open doors, she flashed back to Michael telling her she was an unfit mother. Chase startled Willow when she came back into the kitchen. She said Scout left her favorite water bottle there, and she came back to find it, but was sneaking in through the back of the house because she hoped not to run into anyone after the drama earlier. Then, she asked if there was any new information about Judge Heran’s murder. He said there wasn’t.
Back in the living room, Tracy just finished chastising someone on the phone for letting Willow on the property when Jason came back downstairs. Tracy asked how Monica took the news, but Jason, with tears welling in his eyes, said he never had to tell her because she was already gone.
At the Quartermaine stables, Outback sat at Cody’s feet when he was reading an online article about the slow progress being made in finding Judge Heran’s killer. Cody didn’t know anyone was looking for Outback, but didn’t want to get caught keeping her in the stables because he was afraid he’d be forced to take her to the pound. Outback was adorable and actually seemed to listen to Cody.
From outside, Dante yelled to ask if Cody was in there. Cody jokingly told Outback, “It’s the law, quick hide,” but, to his surprise, Outback actually ran to the other room. When Dante came in, he asked Cody to stop him from doing something stupid to Jason Morgan. Dante said he wasn’t happy to find out that Jason was the one who brought Britt Westbourne back to town. Britt being alive was news to Cody. It took Dante a hot sec to remember Cody had an almost-relationship with Britt.
When Dante brought up Britt stealing the embryo and keeping Rocco from them, Cody claimed she knew what she did was wrong and had been trying to turn her life around. Dante said Britt let her own mother believe she was dead for two years, which proved she was just as deceitful and twisted as she’d ever been.
Dante didn’t understand how Jason could bring Britt back without thinking about how it would affect his family or giving them any warning. Even if there was a good reason, he said it was thoughtless, and he needed to stay away from Jason right now.
In Sydney, Australia, Josslyn and Vaughn returned from surfing to their beach bungalow, which was on her family’s property. They were enjoying their last day of being able to be together when Vaughn killed the mood by saying they didn’t have very much longer. He wished they could be together, but they went on to talk about what they would be doing once they got back home. He was concerned Britt might blow Joss’ cover because, if she did, Joss would have to be reassigned somewhere outside of Port Charles.
Vaughn said for the sake of the WSB and their careers, they needed to figure out how to sever their feelings for one another. Joss didn’t want to pretend that she and Vaughn never happened, but Vaughn said they didn’t have a choice, and their feelings for each other needed to stay in that room. She said they would, and then they made love.
Kai met with Trina at Haven Bistro. He reviewed everything that happened when he went to see Drew. They figured Drew was still unaware the test result document wasn’t in his safe. When Trina asked why Kai didn’t tell her everything the night before, he said it was because he thought he might be a suspect. In case he was, he thought they should limit contact with one another and not meet up anymore.
Trina tried to reassure Kai that he should be the last person the police would suspect. She also reminded him that they both broke into Drew’s together. For a minute, they talked about the possibility of “figuring things out” to get back together, but then went back to talking about their Drew situation. Trina let him know she didn’t tell her mom about breaking into Drew’s or burning the test results paper.
Kai hoped they covered their tracks well enough, but Trina was worried they’d missed something. As they retraced each of their steps from that night, it dawned on Kai that he had left the softball bat with his fingerprints all over it in the living room.
