What happened on General Hospital

At the Davis house, Molly told Alexis and Kristina there hadn’t been any updates about lifting Drew’s restraining orders. She felt, given the circumstances, she could get a judge to see that it would be in Scout’s best interest to stay with them.
Kristina saw the online article Lulu wrote for the Port Charles Press regarding Drew: “The Colorful Life - and Death? - of Drew Cain”. Alexis said, aside from the clickbait headline, it was somewhat respectful. As soon as Molly left, Kristina told her mother that bringing Scout there would be the worst thing because she might find Ric being held captive with a ball gag in his mouth. Alexis felt they didn’t have any other options because Scout didn’t have anybody, and, since she was the grandmother, she was in the best position to secure emergency custody.
Later, Molly returned with the bad news that Alexis' petition to suspend Drew’s restraining order was denied and would remain in effect indefinitely. She also had to let them know that Willow was being appointed as Scout’s legal guardian, which outraged Alexis. Molly said the only choice they had was to support Willow.
When Alexis went to pack some things for Scout, Kristina told Molly about her confrontation with Willow at the hospital and what she said to her. While Alexis was at the hospital finding Willow, Molly was admonishing Kristina for, once again, not thinking things through. Cody called, but she didn’t accept the call and didn’t see that he left a “911!” message.
At the hospital, Michael ran into Elizabeth before he went to get his blood drawn. They talked for a bit about Drew’s condition and Willow. He thanked her for watching out for Willow before he left for his appointment.
As a reporter, Lulu was there to question people about Drew’s shooting. She approached Willow, who was reluctant to talk. Lulu said she didn’t need a quote from her, but felt she might have a unique perspective regarding who would have a reason to hurt Drew. As Willow said Drew made a lot of enemies who could have been pushed to the point of lashing out, she turned and saw Michael talking to Elizabeth.
Seizing the opportunity to cast doubt, Willow said Michael and his father were both dangerous men to cross. After they talked more, Lulu thanked her for speaking with her so honestly about Drew and gave Willow her word that it was all off the record. Lulu said she just wanted to report the news, didn’t want to sensationalize anything, and would never give up her source. Before she left, Lulu also said she would be there if Willow ever decided to tell her story on the record.
On another floor, Michael checked in with a nurse for his blood draw. As he waited, he read Lulu’s article about Drew. The article had a picture of Drew taking body shots off of Jacinda, which made Michael realize she was the woman he’d talked with at the bar in the Port Charles Grill. He recalled paying for Jacinda’s drinks after she lamented how expensive it was. She’d told him she’d been gone on her dream vacation, but ran out of money, so it hadn’t ended the way she hoped. It wasn’t clear if Jacinda saw an opportunity, was being paid to take an interest in Michael, or exactly what her intentions were. Later, Michael ran into Lulu by the elevators. He said he needed to find the woman pictured in her article.
Portia was in her office when Nina arrived. She’d just received an update on Drew and told Nina it looked like he was going to live. As they talked about being at the Brown Dog pub before Drew was shot, it became apparent that each was suspicious that the other might have killed Drew.
Nina said she took a walk with Willow after leaving the Brown Dog and got caught in the rain. Portia said her story was “implausible, and yet so fortunate.” Nina told Portia she was also very fortunate because her hatred for Drew, unlike Nina’s, was private. As it appeared Nina was going to reassure her that she wouldn’t say anything about Drew’s blackmail, etc., Lulu knocked at the door. Portia told her to come in, but then asked her to come back another time since she was in a meeting with Nina.
Lulu said she could come back, but she was there to follow up about Stella’s arrest and what, if anything, the hospital was doing to defend her. Before she left, Lulu told them there was a rumor going around that Stella was targeted, possibly by Drew Cain. She asked if Portia wanted to make a comment on the record.
Portia was only willing to comment about what an exceptional employee Stella was and told Lulu, for anything beyond that, she’d have to contact the hospital’s communications department. Then, more pointedly, Lulu asked her if she wanted to go on the record regarding the conflict between Drew and Curtis. Portia declined to comment. After Lulu left, Nina and Portia worried that Portia’s conflict with Drew wasn’t so private after all. They spent some time dancing around their suspicions, but just as they were feeling they’d both stay in the clear, Jacinda knocked at the door. Jacinda said she was back in town and needed money. Since they were “friends”, she thought they could help out with that.
Elizabeth sat with Willow for a moment to comfort her when Felicia walked up. Felicia had just spoken with Martin, who was still Drew’s attorney of record. Per Drew’s legal directives, Willow had been appointed as Scout’s custodial guardian. After Felicia left, it dawned on Willow that she did not have her own home to take Scout to.
Elizabeth told Willow to bring Scout to her house because she had plenty of room and would love for them to be with her. As they were talking, Alexis arrived with a bag for Scout. Alexis told Willow about the restraining orders she was trying to get rescinded and asked Willow if she’d be able to take the best possible care of Scout in the meantime.
Willow assured Alexis that she loved Scout and promised to take good care of her. Felicia walked up to inform them that Lila’s Kids Camp called and let her know that Scout went missing after breakfast.
Sonny and Diane met at Café Cherie. Diane figured she was going to have to defend Sonny, Carly, or Michael in Drew’s shooting, but Sonny said whatever happened to Drew didn’t concern him. Regardless, Diane told him they’d all be suspects and needed to secure their alibis asap.
Sonny wanted Diane to get him information about Judge Heran. He filled her in on Drew’s claims about the judge getting bribed to rule in Michael’s favor. When Diane asked Sonny if he’d had any idea who could have done that, Sonny said he found it interesting that Heran’s body washed up at Pier 55, which was right across the way from Spoon Island. He didn’t think it was a coincidence and felt itwas quite possible Sidwell was responsible.
Sonny also wanted Diane to get information on Sidwell, but she said she couldn’t because Jenz Sidwell was also a client of her firm. Ergo, for ethical and legal reasons, she couldn’t give him any information on him. She said he’d have to get the information on his own as soon as possible.
At Brennan’s WSB office, he was admonishing Colette for her continued insubordination and let her know she was being relocated to the field office in Algiers. Angered by his decision, she said shipping her off wouldn’t change the fact that he lost control of his operation as well as two of his agents. Also, she planned to submit a detailed report to his superiors.
Anna overheard part of the conversation as she was standing outside the door. After Colette walked out, Anna came in and demanded to know if one of the missing agents was Josslyn. Brennan said he had every intention of getting Jossylyn and Vaughn home safely, and he was handling the glitch in the operation.
Brennan reminded Anna that she had her hands full dealing with the murder of a judge and the attempted murder of a sitting congressman. He slyly gave Carly an alibi by saying that she was with him (for the whole night) when they found out about Drew’s murder. Anna found that interesting, but also wanted to know why he called her there and what he was up to. He said there was something he wanted, but changed his mind and didn’t want to add to her burdens.
She knew he was pulling something, and said she didn’t like being used, as well as that he owed her.
After Brennan left, Colette, who was on the phone with someone unknown, went into Brennan’s office to try to open the black box. Not surprisingly, the code Josslyn had given didn’t work. She couldn’t get in the box, nor could she find any information about Dalton. She was about to rush out when Brennan arrived with a gun in his hand. He said the good news was that she wasn’t going to Algiers, but the bad news was she was going to a “black site,” which she knew what that entailed…unless she would tell him who she was working for.
At the Five Poppies Resort, Jason returned as Mr. Moore, and Pascal escorted him back to the room he’d just stayed in. Jason thought Pascal bought his weak cover story, but an assassin awaited him inside the room. Right after he closed the door, the assassin shot at Jason but missed. As they fought, Jason was able to turn the man's gun on him and shoot to kill. Afterward, Jason found a keycard to his room in the would-be killer’s pocket and immediately knew he’d been purposely let in there.
He left to try to find Britt in her room. As she wasn’t there, he searched the room for clues. He found a card with a note to him that said, “J - Find me. Take cliff path, turn left, pink tiled entrance. Right corridor. Code 7572.” Jason found Britt’s lab and opened the door.
Josslyn and Vaughn were now tied together back-to-back on the floor in their captivity room. Apparently, she’d had a chance to get away when Vaughn was fighting with the guard, but she didn’t want to leave him alone. They were fatigued and getting worn down. Vaughn wished she had run when she had the chance because he cared that she might die.
Pascal, along with one of his henchmen, came in. Pascal said, since the code Josslyn gave to open the WSB box didn’t work, he’d decided how to get rid of them. “Poor Mr. & Mrs. Nash. Their bodies were swept away in a tragic boating accident on their honeymoon”, he said. Later, an irritated Pascal returned to let them know it had been decided they were still of use.
