General Hospital star Parry Shen (Brad Cooper) celebrated his wedding anniversary over the weekend in a very special way that had a direct connection to his wedding day.
To celebrate their 23rd anniversary, Shen and his wife, Kim, went to a Backstreet Boys concert on August 2 at The Sphere in Las Vegas, the ultramodern venue that opened in 2023. He shared videos and pictures of the concert on his Instagram account and his X (formerly Twitter) account.

He shared a video from the wedding, which was on August 2, 2002. The clip was of him and his wife being introduced to their friends and family as husband and wife and seemingly about to start their first dance to the Backstreet Boys hit, “Larger Than Life.”
On the next slide, the General Hospital actor showed a clip of the Backstreet Boys performing the same song onstage Saturday night in Vegas. Then, he added other clips of him and Kim singing along to other big hits from the group at the show.
Shen started the post with a picture backstage of him and his wife at the show.
The General Hospital actor captioned the post, in part, “It caught me off guard how many of the songs I remembered all the lyrics to - I didn’t know maybe 1 song. But it makes sense - I’ve used their music for my wedding proposal video, when I was announcing coming back to GH and anytime I’ve gotten to perform at the GH Nurses’ Ball, I feel like I’m in a Boy Band. At the end of the show, a nearby casino bar was brilliant and blasting their music - the last clip shows that NOBODY wanted the party to end! Such a great night, great show, great venue!”
Numerous fans congratulated the couple on their anniversary. The Instagram user pearl_tucker_harley said, ”This is really cool. The both of you look like babies. I can't believe you've been married for 23 years. Congratulations.” Another fan, picturelove23, added, “This makes my heart SOOO happy!!!!!! 🥰🥰 Happy Anniversary you two!! Celebrating the right way, the backstreet way!” Another fan shared that she had been at the same show the night before at The Sphere.
He shared some of the same clips on X, formerly Twitter, and several fans there wished him a happy anniversary as well.
The couple has two daughters. Shen has been playing Brad Cooper on General Hospital since 2013 and was last seen in May.
