Several General Hospital stars got to celebrate the show with their fans during a fan convention weekend at the Graceland estate in Memphis.

The three-day event featured the standard question-and-answer panels and autograph sessions with the actors. There were also special events, such as a karaoke party and a real-live General Hospital Nurses’ Ball musical, hosted, just like on the show itself, by Lynn Herring. According to fans on social media, Herring changed dresses a few times during the show, just as Lucy does on the soap opera version.

Joining the event this year were more than a dozen General Hospital stars, including Katelyn MacMullen (Willow), Rory Gibson (Michael), Laura Wright (Carly), Lynn Herring (Lucy), Kelly Thiebaud (Britt), Donnell Turner (Curtis), Ryan Paevey (Nathan), Tanisha Harper (Jordan), Chris McKenna (Jack), Van Hansis (Lucas), Josh Kelly (Cody), Giovanni Mazza (Gio), and Braedyn Bruner (Emma).

While any juicy content, scandalous details, and potential spoilers in the Q&A panels weren’t made public, the fun involved was evident in social media posts by the fans and actors alike. Here is a sampling of it all:

General Hospital stars enjoyed their Halloween in style

Last Friday night was Halloween, and while the General Hospital stars weren’t staying home on their porches and handing out candy, they had time to celebrate with each other.

In content shared by several actors on Instagram, Thiebaud and Mazza dressed up like Graceland’s legendary owner, Elvis Presley. Thiebaud went all out with gold pants and a very high-haired wig to honor the King of Rock and Roll.

Kelly embraced the humorous side of his character, horse handler Cody Bell. He dressed up as a cowboy wearing an inflatable horse costume. Thiebaud and Bruner shared videos of him pretending to ride a horse in the outfit. Other stars wore masks and fake glasses to show off their fun sides.

General Hospital’s Gio and Emma showed off their musical talents

The stars put on a real Nurses’ Ball at the Graceland event. Headlining the show was Mazza, who, as General Hospital fans know, is a mega-talented violin player in real life. While his character, Gio Palmieri, has not played the instrument in Port Charles since his memorable onstage meltdown at the 2025 Nurses’ Ball, Mazza continues to have a noteworthy career outside of the show.

In various clips shared by fans on social media, Mazza was playing his violin during the weekend, seeming to perform a number he plays at sporting events. But he really surprised guests when he pulled out a guitar and showed he has singing skills as well.

Bruner, who plays Gio’s girlfriend Emma Scorpio-Drake, also wowed onlookers with her pipes. In one clip shared on X (formerly Twitter) by the user @SugarNStitches, they partnered on a performance of the Beatles classic “Twist and Shout,” with Thiebaud joining in with the harmony. Bruner also stunned the crowd by signing the haunting Fleetwood Mac ballad “Landslide” with Mazza accompanying her on the guitar, drawing a big round of applause.

But maybe the most memorable number came when they sang a past Nurses’ Ball classic: “You’re Not Alone.” The tune, a General Hospital original, famously debuted during the 2013 Nurses’ Ball, sung by Emma’s father Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson), and Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo), with Emma also onstage when she was a little girl, played by Brooklyn Rae Silzer. It was performed at the Ball multiple times after.

Bruner warmed plenty of hearts in Memphis when she honored her character’s past by putting her own spin on the classic. She and Mazza led the song, with seven other cast members harmonizing to end the program.

General Hospital’s Jack Brennan showed some amazing stage skills

During the Memphis edition of the Nurses’ Ball, Chris McKenna showed a playful side of himself that General Hospital fans never see from WSB leader Jack Brennan.

McKenna performed the Ritchie Valens hit “La Bamba,” singing the original entirely in Spanish while strutting around and interacting with several fans in the audience. McKenna posted a video of the performance on his X and Instagram accounts.

He got a lot of fan reaction, with several people hoping he performs on the show’s Ball in the future. The X user stephaniepanettac said. “OK...Mission for 2026. Brennan singing at the nurses ball. DONT CARE HOW..it needs to be done.”

McKenna also sang with Thiebaud as they teamed up for the hit duet “I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me),” which Thiebaud memorably sang with Parry Shen at Britt’s goodbye party when Dr. Westbourne and her bestie Brad Cooper teamed up for it.

The X user SugarNStitches posted a video of this on the social media platform. Shen replied with several clapping emojis.

General Hospital actors got to be tourists, too

Multiple GH actors shared photos from the Civil Rights Museum in Memphis. Thiebaud also shared pics of the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, including the balcony where Martin Luther King, Jr. was shot and killed in 1968. A plaque and permanent memorial are in that location. In a caption on her Instagram Stories, Thiebaud shared a photo of that spot and wrote, in part. “It’s heartbreaking and so overwhelming. It should never be forgotten. I will never understand the hate and evil actions that live in some people. This experience left a mark on me, and I feel so lucky that I got to see it.”

Thiebaud also shared a full highlight reel of the trip on her Instagram account. She captioned the post, “This past weekend, I had a really great time in Memphis with my cast mates and our awesome GH fans. Came for the event. Left with Elvis’ spirit, a deeper understanding of history, and a full heart. Memphis, you’re something special. Thank you to all the fans who came to see us! Y’all are the best!”
