Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on General Hospital

In 2023, we had to get used to General Hospital presenting us with giant babies as newborns when Ace and Amelia were born. It became a running joke on social media that Esme and Willow produced some super big babies. It was explained that GH didn't want to use infants who had not had their COVID vaccine yet, which was completely understandable. In 2025, we are dealing with another character newborn that is clearly being played by a baby who is several months old. However, her entire life has been sped up. Daisy has only been home from the hospital for one week in real time and about two days in Port Charles time, and already she is having a christening tomorrow. On top of that, she is a newborn who doesn't need any swaddling, sleeps in a crib without her mother by her side, and doesn't even go down crying. In fact, she is smiling, which NO newborn baby does because they haven't developed that skill yet. Plus, any mother who can remember those first few days home with a newborn, you know you can't just put your baby down all calm and happy and expect them to fall asleep on their own. Even if you don't co-sleep, it's pretty common to keep the baby in a bassinet in the same room rather than in a whole separate nursery. Baby Daisy is growing up fast, and we're sure she'll be Donna's age by next week.
