General Hospital's Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) has grown up right before our eyes, as we saw on Tuesday's episode. His mother, Sam (Kelly Monaco), would have been so proud of him.

Danny's sister Scout (Cosette Abinante) wanted him to take her from Lila's Kids camp to the Quartermaine mansion, because she misses the family her father, Drew (Cameron Mathison), never allows her to spend time with. Danny naturally felt bad for Scout and wanted to do right by his sister. He also missed her, so he brought her home with him to the Quartermaine house.

When Drew arrived there toward the end of the episode and hurried Scout out the door, he closed the door behind him to speak to the others privately. That was when Danny gave him a piece of his mind.

He emphatically told Drew, "Come on, Uncle Drew, can't you see she wants to spend time with us? What's the big deal?" When Drew said he and Scout had "things to do at home," Danny wasted no time asking, "Like what?"

We don't get to see Danny interact with Drew very often, let alone stand up to him. He definitely inherited Sam's spunk and bravery, and it was great to see that he felt undaunted by the fact that Drew is Scout's father. All Danny cared about was pleading his sister's case, and we love him for it.

Jason wanted a truce earlier this year, but Drew said no

When the police were looking for Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) the night he went missing in February, Jason snuck into Drew's home. When Drew showed up, Jason tried to extend an olive branch for the sake of their kids. Not only did Drew refuse, but he told Jason he didn't want Scout to spend any time with her siblings. He didn't want her anywhere near the Quartermaines. We couldn't help feeling horrible for Scout, Danny, and Rocco (Finn Carr). They need each other, especially while they are struggling with their grief over losing Sam.

Now, it feels like that storyline is finally coming to a head, and we're learning how Drew's actions have affected Scout emotionally. Bravo, Danny, for honoring your mom's wishes and standing up for your sister's welfare! Thankfully, Chase didn't charge Danny with kidnapping like Drew wanted him to. But now that Drew has forbidden Alexis and Danny from seeing Scout, let's hope Alexis can think of a way to combat him — maybe even with Danny's help.
