Harrison Chase made a move on General Hospital last week that could cost him his marriage, or career, or both.
Chase (Josh Swickard) went to Pentonville to visit Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) after she was indicted for shooting Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Chase offered his ex-wife his help, telling her he would do everything he could to investigate the shooting and prove her innocence.
Chase has always been on Willow's side on General Hospital

That could potentially put Chase in hot water, as he is one of the lead investigators of the shooting, helping interview people and put evidence together. He believes that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) committed the crime and could be framing Willow for it.
Willow urged him to reconsider, but Chase stood his ground.
Chase has been loyal to Willow almost from the moment they met seven years ago. When they were together as a couple, he helped her heal from her Dawn of Day programming and gave her a safe place in his apartment.
In one of their most memorable scenes, he had to arrest her in the courtroom after she wouldn’t tell Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) where their baby was. Chase choked up while reading Willow her rights and putting handcuffs on her.
Chase has also been there for her in some of her darkest moments, particularly when he had to tell her that it was her baby, not Michael’s, who died on his first day of life after the baby switch that lasted more than a year.
In those moments, he was being a great partner. But now, after even more dramatic turmoil for Willow in court, he is risking everything to help her. Not only is he investigating the shooting, but he is now married to Michael’s cousin, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). Brook Lynn is siding with Michael not only in the investigation, but in his custody battle with Willow for Wiley and Amelia.
Chase and Brook Lynn have had a happy, stable marriage since they wed on General Hospital in 2024. They have disagreed over whether to adopt a child since they can’t have one naturally, though that plotline has been tabled in recent months as Brook Lynn tries to bond with her grownup son Gio (Giovanni Mazza). Chase has been helping her with that.
On General Hospital, Chase and Brook Lynn have a vow to not hide things from each other, so there’s a good chance Chase will tell her what he’s doing for Willow. Will Brook Lynn accept this or get angry and jealous because of her husband’s past with the accused shooter? Will that cause problems with their marriage? Will this set the stage for a breakup for one of General Hospital’s most stable couples, freeing her up for an actual romance with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna)?
This could also cause problems for Brook Lynn because she recently saw Dark Michael in action. Michael confided in her that he was happy Willow was arrested in front of their children to limit her future interactions with them, which threw her for a loop. Now that Chase and Michael are at odds again, BLQ could easily get caught between the cousin she adores and the husband she loves.
Not to mention that Chase could be putting his job on the line and his reputation with the force. He and Dante have numerous conflicts of interest as they help commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) solve the mystery. And Chase has been in trouble with the force before, most notably when he was suspended for a long time for punching Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) while defending Brook Lynn’s honor. So another strike with Anna could cost him his badge.
