General Hospital's Maxie Jones looks like she is in big trouble, which means we may finally know how the soap is writing Kirsten Storms off for the next few months while she settles into her new home in Tennessee.
Another dirty deed from Sidwell?

We knew Maxie was going to have to watch her back the second she decided she wanted to go against what her Deception business partners wanted and give the authorities the evidence they have against Sonny (Maurice Benard). Sidwell (Carlo Rota) did not want that information getting into police hands, so he convinced Tracy (Jane Elliot) to cool it and keep the dirt within Deception.
Sidwell was also way too invested in watching Lucy and Maxie's latest Home and Heart appearance. It was as if he knew it would be eventful, and that it was. Maxie rubbed some skin cream onto her cheek and was unconscious within seconds. Was there something in that zincite that Sidwell supplied, or did he do something more sinister to Maxie before Flora Gardens' (Susan Batten) show began?
A General Hospital repeat performance?

When Storms announced her leave of absence from General Hospital in July, she hinted that the show had something shocking in store for Maxie. She also said she didn't expect to be back on screen until late this year. We now know that Ryan Paevey is returning to GH next month, but will he play Maxie's allegedly late husband, Nathan West, or be someone else?
While the return of Nathan seems like something Maxie and Storms should be around for, maybe we have to wait for their reunion (if Paevey is indeed playing Nathan), making it all the more special. In the meantime, we expect that Maxie will be off-screen for a bit. Does that mean she is about to go into a coma? Will she even need a new heart?
Lucas (Van Hansis) is going to do everything he can to save Maxie, knowing his sister's heart still beats in her chest. If she falls into a coma and needs another transplant, we'd certainly be looking at a Lulu scenario, but thankfully, we don't expect it to last four years. If Maxie does indeed get Lulu'd, we wonder who her new heart will come from...
