With the Five Poppies story looking like it's finally coming to a climax, General Hospital fans and Port Charles residents will have The Britch back in full force, but will she be the Britch of the more tamed version of Britt who "died"?
Britt's 'redemption' was hard won

While Britt has never been a full-fledged murderous villainess, as her mother, Liesl, told Rocco (Finn Carr), Britt was "a mess." She did numerous underhanded and illegal things, including stealing Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu's (Alexa Havins) frozen embryo before implanting it into her uterus and giving birth to Rocco.
Britt was also not very well liked around the General Hospital halls due to her bitchy attitude, which earned her the nickname "The Britch." However, during Thiebaud's last stint on GH, which ended in 2023, Britt began showing her softer side and was even a respected and beloved chief of staff by the time she allegedly died.
In fact, Britt had quite a turnout at her New Year's Eve birthday party, which ended with Britt getting nicked by Heather's (Alley Mills) poison hook. Port Charles mourned her supposed death, but now we know she is alive, so which Britt will we get once she makes her way back home?
General Hospital's Britt keeps her edge

During the time Thiebaud had been away from GH, she still received kind words from fans who wanted her back on their favorite soap. Thiebaud credits Britt's redemption with the love she received from the audience.
"I was getting messages on my social media about how much people missed the character," Thiebaud told Women's World. "The last time I was on the show, we were creating this different version of Britt. And it wasn’t just me—it was the writing and a real team effort to give her this redemption, and then the Huntington’s disease. It was so beautiful. I got so much love from the GH fans, and I think we grew closer during that whole experience."
But which version of Britt will fans see once the Five Poppies story comes to a close?
"We’re kind of leaning more towards The Britch these days," she said. "I love the flair of Britt and her spikiness, so it’s fun to play. I just don’t want to live in that world all the time! I’m like, 'Guys, I worked so hard. We all work so hard on making her likable and redeeming her. Let’s not lose that.' I want the best of both worlds."
