Chris McKenna brings the spy game to life on General Hospital

Spies have always been a part of the fabric of General Hospital. Starting with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), then moving on to Frisco Jones (Jack Wagner), international intrigue and espionage have always been a major part of the show’s storytelling. That tradition continues to this day with the introduction of World Security Bureau station chief Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), who recruited Jossly Jacks (Eden McCoy) as an intelligence agent. With Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) as her handler, the three make a good team. McKenna recently shared some spy joy on social media, delighting the fans.

Spies like us

McKenna took to Instagram and shared a few fun images with the caption, “Brennan’s Angels #WSB #Team #Josslyn #Vaughn #Vosslyn #Brennan #GH.” Obviously a take on the 1970s hit spy series Charlie’s Angels, the first pic was cool with Brennan dressed as Jack standing there with one arm across his stomach and his left arm across his chest in a fist. He is flanked by Vaughn on his right, holding his hands up like a gun and looking into the distance at imagined bad guys. To his left is Joss is holding one hand up as a gun and looking side-eyed at Vaughn.

The pic is clearly going to go down as one of the coolest from the show. There were three other snaps, one of Jack with his arms on his protegees’ shoulders and making a goofy face. The next was a similar pose, except he was smiling, and the third looked like the three of them were standing around chatting happily. All in all it was fun to see these three together, enjoying themselves behind the scenes on General Hospital, and having fun with the fact that they’re playing spies.

McCoy responded to the post with the clever emojis: “❤️❤️❤️🍸🍸🍸,” while General Hospital fan, @_jemezu, hilariously replied to that, “@edenmccoy just turned my application into The WSB. Looking forward to working together.” The same follower posted to the main thread, “So we get to take down bad guys and look good doin' it. Brennan, expect my application in the mail.” McKenna eagerly responded, “@_jemezu great, I need the help. These guys are shaky.”

@notthefamousshania joined in on that thread, writing, “@chrislmckenna, consider me applied. Please, at least let me be the person who brings the snacks so people can eat.” McKenna wasted no time in responding, “@notthefamousshania you’ve been approved❤.”

And @kathycolemancox gave very nice praise with the comment, “Chris, you're doing great as Jack Brennan 👍 So cool 😎 Brennan's Angels 😇 😁 Great to see you, Eden, and Bryce having fun at work.
