On General Hospital, Yuri is the butler and security guard at the Quartermaine mansion who sometimes adds comic relief to the family hijinks.

He may be back on screen soon according to his portrayer, Cyrus Hobbi. Hobbi shared a video on his Instagram account November 20th of himself in the General Hospital studio. The video showed him dressed to the nines as Yuri in a suit and tie next to a sign that points to the stage in the General Hospital studio.

The official GH Instagram account “Liked” his post as did Cassandra James, who plays General Hospital co-chief of staff and Yuri’s girlfriend Dr. Terry Randolph.

Several fans commented on the post applauding the fact that Yuri is returning. The Instagram user martinsmoon added, “Where have you been? You missed Monica’s funeral!”

Hobbi is a versatile actor who does a lot of comedy in his acting career. He has shared glimpses of other projects he is working on lately on his Instagram account.

He showed a promotion he did for a beauty product line Cécred (pronounced like sacred), sponsored by Beyoncé. The humorous clip showed him shirtless with a female hairdresser telling him not that she thought he was attractive, but that she thought his scalp was dry and flaky.

The General Hospital actor also shared a humorous clip from what appears to be an upcoming music video by the band Sublime. The clip shows him outside a liquor store, eating a donut then getting his pants pulled down by a kid running by him. In the aftermath, he is shown wearing colorful polka dot briefs.

He captioned the post, “Been having some weird ÄŞŞ dreams lately,” then tagged the band Sublime and The Sunflower Pictures production company, which produces music videos and other visual content. According to their Instagram, they have recently worked with Travis Barker, Leon Bridges, Ad Astra and Tony Hawk.

Sublime is a ska/reggae band from Long Beach, California that is known for several big hits from the late 1990s include “What I Got,” “Santeria” and Wrong Way.” They disbanded back then after the death of their lead singer Bradley Nowell, but are planning to release a new comeback album with Nowell’s son Jakob Nowell as the new singer.

The band has a new single called “Ensenada” with an accompanying video, and it seems Hobbi will play a part in a future single release.

Hobbi, a football player in high school and college, appeared in a commercial for Nationwide Insurance with quarterback legend Peyton Manning and star running back Saquon Barkley from the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.

Hobbi graduated from the University of Southern California in 2017. He studied theater and drama and earned a Master’s degree in Communications Management.

As a football player at USC, he was a backup offensive lineman, a perennial college football power. He appeared in more than a dozen games for the Trojans, starting once at rival Stanford.
