And the winner is... General Hospital's Alley Mills

Alley Mills had General Hospital fans enthralled last year as Heather learned that cobalt poisoning from an artificial hip caused her to lose her mind and become a serial killer. While that all seems a little wild, Mills played every emotion Heather had, from regret to relief that she was freed from prison and able to start life over again with her son, Steven Lars (Scott Reeves). Mills showed us a completely different side of Heather with her performance.

In her acceptance speech, Mills gave kudos to Avery Kristen Pohl, who played Heather's daughter, Esme Prince. Pohl was one of Mill's fellow nominees in this category. Both actresses have not been seen on our Port Charles screens since 2024, but they'd be welcomed back.

Mills also gave thanks to her late husband, Orson Bean, as well as God, as she acknowledged the current problems in the world. This was Mills' second win in this category. Mills' first soap opera role was as Pam on The Bold and the Beautiful, where she still recurs.

Catch all-new episodes of General Hospital weekdays on ABC and Hulu.
