Tajh Bellow: Forget who shot Drew — General Hospital fans want to know where TJ is!

The identity of Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) shooter might be the biggest mystery on General Hospital right now, but for some fans, there’s a far more pressing question hanging over Port Charles: Where is TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow)? The character vanished from the canvas not long after his breakup with Molly (Kristen Vaganos), and since then, it’s like the show collectively forgot he existed. No phone calls. No passing mentions. Not even a quick “he’s working out of town.” And one fan finally said what a lot of people have been thinking — loudly.

Has anybody seen TJ?

A General Hospital fan hilariously wrote on Instagram, “I know everyone’s concerned about who shot Drew but is anyone questioning where TJ has been?!?! Has anybody seen TJ???? Also, ask for Dante [Dominic Zamprogna] not Chase [Josh Swickard].”

Along with the caption was an edited photo of TJ on the side of a milk carton, as if he were a missing person. The text reads: “TJ ASHFORD — LAST SEEN: Whenever him and Molly broke up. If you can identify this person or any other missing people please report to the PORT CHARLES PD.” The post took off fast, sparking a wave of amused — and frustrated — reactions from General Hospital viewers who’ve noticed the same thing.

Several fans quickly piled on with their own takes, turning the mystery of TJ’s disappearance into a full-blown soap subplot. @keytaj joked, “What if TJ shot Drew?” while @shalayajay1 admitted, “He is truly missed. I'm upset that his people don't even mention him on the show.” And @antwon1214 declared, “We will never stop searching for you, TJ!”

The TJ spiral fans can’t ignore

Some fans want answers right away. @candy__caine wrote, “They could’ve at least acknowledged him saying he moved to California or something.” @realkanieloutis added, “Who shot Drew? Who killed Austin [ex-Roger Howarth]? Who burned Michael [Rory Gibson]? Lots of unanswered questions.” Meanwhile, @gfjldouglas pointed out, “Molly sure forgot about him quickly,” and @montanasla13 noted the pattern: “TJ disappears with no story line explaining why, and Molly is considering dating Cody. The hospital psychiatrist and mayor’s husband is also MIA with no explanation.”

Others turned it into a running joke. @sockmonkey60706 teased, “He is locked up with Scotty [Kin Shriner] listening to stories on how Luke [ex-Anthony Geary] stole Laura [Genie Francis] from him.” @ljax70 added a wonderful sitcom reference: “They wrote him off like Chuck on Happy Days. His mom doesn't even mention him anymore.” Chuck (Gavan O'Herlihy) was the Cunningham’s oldest son who only lasted for the first few episodes, then disappeared without a mention.

And of course, a few fans got brutally honest. @debra3562 sighed, “Good lord he just vanished!!!!!! Molly never speaks of him!!!! Stella and Curtis have not noticed he’s gone!!!!! Did General Hospital wonder why he’s not at work?????”

Whether it’s a tongue-in-cheek joke or genuine frustration, fans are talking — and they want answers. TJ might not have had a dramatic sendoff, but he’s becoming the latest in a long list of characters who walked into GH oblivion without a trace.
