On General Hospital, Carly (Laura Wright) was recently shocked when Jason (Steve Burton) asked her to leave so he could talk to Anna (Finola Hughes). And while Carly may be battling chaos in Port Charles, Wright’s real-life partner had nothing but romance on his mind when he marked her birthday with a heartfelt Instagram tribute that had fans swooning.
A birthday message straight from the heart
General Hospital alum Wes Ramsey pulled out all the stops in an Instagram post where he wrote, “Happy birthday to the light of my life, the twinkle in my step, and the best friend I could ever ask for. I wish you knew just how much you inspire us all, my darling. Thank you for sharing your special spirit with the world & thank you for the beautiful life we share together. I love you, Laura.” Wright enthusiastically responded with, “I just adore you!!! So so grateful for our life!!!!” Attached to his post was a pic of Wright wearing a large pair of glasses and smirking knowingly.
Ramsey’s post immediately sparked a flood of reactions: @crystalchappell jumped in with, “Happy Birthday, Dear Laura!!!” while @jillybeancooks gushed, “The sweetest post from the sweetest guy for our beloved friend!” Another follower, @jacqui_marc, chimed in with, “Oh, Laura, we all need a WES to profess their love and admiration like this. Plenty of longtime General Hospital viewers weighed in with @darknlovely901 declaring, “Hbd beautiful you are by far the best Carly they ever had on GH,” and @tinashervinski adding, “That was so beautiful Wes.
