General Hospital's Bryce Durfee filming new holiday movie

Fans who miss Agent Vaughn on General Hospital will get to see his portrayer, Bryce Durfee, in a Christmas movie in 2026.

Durfee will ring in the holidays next year in style. According to People, Durfee has joined the cast of the Hallmark movie Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True, which was shooting on site this month at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

The film is written and directed by Ryan Landels. It stars regular Hallmark queen Lacey Chabert and Travis Van Winkle as the main couple in the movie.

Vaughn is away from General Hospital for the moment

According to IMDb, “A woman's perfect Disney World Christmas turns chaotic when she finds her awful blind date staying next door. As their families' paths keep crossing, holiday magic sparks unexpected feelings.”

Chabert starred as Bianca as a young girl on All My Children from 1992 to 1993. Since then, she made it big in the iconic movie Mean Girls and with a lead role on the TV series Party of Five. She has moved on to be one of the main heroines of Hallmark films in recent years. Her latest holiday movie, She’s Making a List, is her 43rd Hallmark movie, according to People.

Hallmark announced the new Disney World movie on its social media accounts, with Chabert hosting a video while wearing Mickey Mouse ears in the middle of Disney World. Chabert made another post on her Instagram account with behind-the-scenes footage from the promotional spot. She closed the video with a picture of herself as a little girl, holding a Mickey Mouse doll.

The movie also stars Asher Alexander, Richard Kind, Christy Carlson Romano (Kim Possible, Even Stevens), and Patrick Renna, who was one of the main kids in the classic baseball movie The Sandlot.

Durfee has not been seen on General Hospital since Vaughn was taken away by Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) men on the November 24th episode after Brennan found out that Vaughn was still romantically involved with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) against protocol. It’s unclear if and when Vaughn will return to the show or if he will get involved in the manhunt for Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) or the investigation into Faison’s final project.

Before his stint as Vaughn on General Hospital, Durfee guest-starred on series such as Yellowstone and Hacks, and had several episodes on the series Driven and 9-1-1.
