It looks like fans have seen the last of General Hospital's Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Scorpio?) for now as Sofia Mattsson departs the soap she has called home since 2018.
Sasha's safety comes first on General Hospital

Jason (Steve Burton) delivered Sasha and Daisy to Robert (Tristan Rogers) and Holly (Emma Samms) in France. It's assumed that the WSB agent and con will keep their daughter and granddaughter safe from the threat that is Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), when they think the threat is coming from Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Sasha said her goodbyes all week with fans hoping it was not the end, but it looks like it is.
According to Soap Opera Digest, Sasha's arrival in Europe marked her last episode on GH. Sasha finally got to know her father, Robert, in sweet and tender scenes with baby Daisy. Tristan Rogers made a return appearance so fans could bid Sasha farewell while saying hello to our beloved Robert for two brief episodes.
Sasha's hard-luck heroine journey

Sasha Gilmore arrived on the scene as a con woman pretending to be Nina's (Cynthia Watros) long-lost daughter. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) had paid her to play the part and bring Nina some happiness, but Sasha soon grew to love Nina as a mom.
Even after the truth came out, Sasha and Nina kept their mother-daughter relationship going, with many fans hoping Sasha would turn out to really be Nina's. Oddly enough, she ended up being Robert and Holly's long-lost offspring. That was a surprise twist that nobody saw coming.
Sasha also became known as the most tortured GH character of the decade when she became addicted to drugs, lost her infant son, lost her husband, lost her mind, and lost her fortune. Let's not forget her stint in Ferncliff, her drug-induced heart attack, and finding out that her boyfriend was her cousin.
Through it all, Mattsson turned Sasha into a beloved character who fans are sad to see go. Will Sasha be back one day? Considering that she is now the mother of a Corinthos and Quartermaine and daughter of a Scorpio, we think it's a good bet that the character of Sasha isn't gone for good. Thankfully, the door has been left wide open for her return.
