Fans of General Hospital’s Kin Shriner are probably fed up by now with wondering whether or not Scotty Baldwin will return to Port Charles. The actor left the show around the time he injured his foot in real life, and later underwent surgery for it. Shriner’s probably just as frustrated as the fans while he awaits the phone call summoning him back. In what’s probably an effort to make the show understand that he’s regained full mobility, he shared an update on social media.
He worked hard
General Hospital’s Kin Shriner wrote on X, formerly Twitter, “News flash from Fla. Scotty @GeneralHospital not just eating glazed donuts. He [is] working hard to fix [his] foot and get back to Vespa and all other things!!!!!!” The actor has often joked, when people ask where Scotty is, that his character is off eating doughnuts somewhere. He attached a video to the post that was run through his favorite filter, which makes it look like an old film that’s been through the projector a zillion times and has scratches and skips as a result.
In it, he stated that an arrogant surgeon performed surgery on him, “And he botched it!” He added, “So, for six months, I basically couldn’t walk. So then John Stamos, my good pal, sent me over to his guy at [Cedars-Sinai], and he redid it. And so I'm down here at old Fort Lauderdale.” He turned his phone to show the city, then continued stating that he was, “Rehabbing this foot every day. Every day, so that I could get mobile down here. Getting attendance records at this powerhouse gym. You gotta, you gotta, you gotta get it back!” he emphasized, further explaining that when, “Something goes wrong, you fix it, or you try to. Anyway, that's what I've been up to. So, stay tuned. I will be mobile. Soon. Very soon.”
Fans wished for a speedy recovery

Sending healing vibes your way!” Many of Shriner’s fans wished him a speedy recovery and reiterated that they’d like to see him back on General Hospital sometime soon. @thomasjm1227 responded with, “Best wishes on a speedy recovery, Kin!
