After Selina Wu’s recent abrupt exit from General Hospital, fans of her and her portrayer, Lydia Look, have been wondering when they will see her again.
Ms. Wu made a brief return to General Hospital for one episode in July 2, as she met with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Her stay didn’t last as Sidwell told her he had framed her for firebombing Charlie’s Pub, using two of her men to light the bar on fire. He then ordered her to leave Port Charles, and she did. That left fans stunned as they assumed Selina would be a player in the growing war between Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Perhaps she will be, and Selina is somewhere making plans to prove her innocence. But for now, fans of her portrayer have a new project they can enjoy.
Selina Wu has left General Hospital for the time being

Look stars in the new film Get Off My Lawn, which debuted on the streaming service Tubi last weekend.
The film stars Tahj Mowry and former Days of Our Lives star Camila Banus (ex-Gabi Hernandez) as the leads of the film, playing a couple. IMDB describes it as “A sweet suburban couple is terrorized by a deranged teenager and his friends after they purchase his grandfather's sacred home.”
Look plays the mother of Jonah Hwang’s character in the film. She shared the trailer on her Instagram page. She captioned the post, in part, “Thrilled to play mom to the incredibly talented @realjonahhwang on #Getoffmylawn Drops today free on @tubi
@generalhospitalabc fans, guess which incredible actor plays my husband in it? Hint: It’s a mob reunion! ❤️🔥❤️💪🏼 Big love to our leading lady @camila and leading man @tahj_mowry who carried the film beautifully!”
Looking at the IMDB cast list, it wasn’t clear which former General Hospital actor she was referring to in the post.
Several fans wished her well with the new film. Instagram user ramonagonzalesdiaz said, ”Only watching because my favorite mob lady ❤️”
Look, a multilingual native of Singapore, has appeared on General Hospital since 2017, appearing frequently since 2021. She has appeared on shows such as NCIS: Hawaii and adds her distinctive voice to animated projects and audiobooks. One of her recent projects was voicing the animated series Secret Level, where she worked with her General Hospital nephew, Parry Shen (Brad Cooper).
At age 18, she got an arts scholarship to the USC School of Film & Television and the USC School of Theater for acting. In her sophomore year, she got cast in the leading role in the stage show The Woman Warrior, where she played to full houses to critical acclaim at the Berkeley Repertory Theater and The Huntington Theatre.
