General Hospital's William Lipton celebrates major milestone

Cameron Webber hasn’t been back on General Hospital in a long time. But that’s mainly because his portrayer, William Lipton, has been super busy between other projects like Outer Banks, a Netflix show that had him and his band the Runarounds guest-starring on it. In and around that and his band’s schedule, Lipton’s been living his best life and shared that with fans on social media.

He enjoyed himself

Lipton shared quite a few pics on Instagram with the caption, “Thanks to all the insanely awesome humans that made 21 the best year yet!!!! I am now 22 ❤️.” Among the photos are one of Lipton holding up what looks like a bunch of money, followed by several pics of him and his friends, the Runarounds rocking out, Lipton grocery shopping, and he and his friends simply enjoying themselves.

His friend, Lilah Pate, who was seen in a snap with the General Hospital star petting a dog, commented, “Happy day of birth, William,” to which the actor replied, “@lilah.pate I’ve arrived.” She then commented, “To the moon,” which is probably a reference to the fact that Lipton added ‘The Moon’ as his posting location. A fan going by @dreamjasamchadamfan, chimed in with, “Happy Birthday @williamlipton, I hope you're having a wonderful and fantastic day! 🎉🥳.”

Another friend who appeared in the pics, Soraya Tehranchi, commented, “Brilliant song brilliant person,” and Lipton responded to them with, “@sorayatehranchi no you’re a brilliant song and person,” showing that he and his friends have enduring mutual love for one another.

One friend, @zoezakson, hilariously wrote, “Happy birthday, THE William Lipton‼️‼️” An incredulous Lipton replied with, “@zoezakson holy s**t we got the THE in the title now.” Lipton replied to nearly all of his friends who wrote in the thread.

General Hospital fans also clamored for more Lipton on the show with @lovenascar04 writing, “I miss you not being on GH anymore, [you're] such a gifted actor.❤️.” Friends, family, and fans all sent tons of birthday love to the actor, with a shocked @lyraarose commenting, “My God, they grow up so fast -- happy birthday, Will!!!” @daysfann31 held out hope that Lipton would soon return to GH, responding to the post with, “Happy 22nd Birthday @Williamlipton, I really hope Cameron spends his summer in Port Charles.”
