Here are your General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, August 19, 2025.

What to expect on General Hospital

Now that Jason (Steve Burton) and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) are alone in the same room, Jason is ready for Britt to start talking. Despite the emotions they feel from seeing each other for the first time in four years, Jason wants answers. How on Earth did Britt survive Heather Webber's (Alley Mills) poison hook when Liesl (Kathleen Gati) watched her daughter die in her arms?

Will Britt spill the whole truth and tell Jason who she is working for and what she is actually working on? That's what Joss (Eden McCoy) and Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) need to figure out as they plan their next step. Josslyn wants to talk to Britt and get answers, but Jason gets to her first. Jason will be in for another huge surprise if Josslyn finds Britt soon. And he will call her mother.

After passing out live on TV during a Home and Heart channel appearance, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) is in dire condition at General Hospital. Lucas (Van Hansis) does everything he can to save Maxie's life and is keenly aware that he is saving the person who has his sister's heart.

Did Sidwell (Carlo Rota) do something to Deception's night cream to ensure that Maxie didn't go to the police? Is that why he was so anxious to watch Lucy's (Lynn Herring) television appearance? Perhaps he wanted to see the results of his dirty work.

Carly vs. Nina...again

Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Carly (Laura Wright) are forever at war, even when they both agree that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is the worst thing to happen to Port Charles in years. When they have an encounter at the Metro Court pool, Carly tells Nina that everything that has happened with Willow is her fault, causing Nina to lose her cool. Does that mean another cat fight ensues and Carly ends up in the pool? Perhaps they both end up wet.

As for Drew, he doesn't care what Sidwell says; he wants Michael (Rory Gibson) in jail so he reports the assault. Back at Sonny's (Maurice Benard) place, Diane (Carolyn Henessy) warns Michael that punching Drew won't look good when Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) once again has her day in court.
