General Hospital Spoilers, November 7: Carly and Valentin's latest scheme

What to expect on General Hospital

Carly (Laura Wright) dons her wig and glasses disguise once again so she can take a trip to Switzerland to visit Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) at Steinmauer. Valentin wants to know how close he is to getting back to Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) and Port Charles.

Carly tells him that if everything goes to plan, it will be very soon. Carly is so close to getting Valentin transferred to a prison close to home, but is the next step freedom?

Back in Port Charles, Jack is oblivious to what is going on with his girlfriend and his frenemy. He got a mysterious call from Anna (Finola Hughes) and also has to coach Josslyn (Eden McCoy) on her latest assignment. He needs all the information he can get out of Sidwell (Carlo Rota).

Election problems

It's Election Day in Port Charles and Laura (Genie Francis) is not sure of her re-election chances. She tells Lulu (Alexa Havins) that whatever happens tonight could make or break Port Charles. Sadly, her mayoral campaign hits a snag. Could Sidwell be involved?

Sidwell has already made several threats, but he seems to be distracted by Ava (Maura West). She finds the latest Wyndemere resident to be intriguing. Will both Ava and Lucas (Van Hansis) end up living in Wyndemere again? That could mean danger for both of them, considering Sidwell's nefarious business dealings.

Catching Dalton

Emma (Braedyn Bruner) and Charlotte have no idea that they are in over their heads when it comes to Professor Dalton (Daniel Goddard). Animal testing is the least of their concerns, but they just don't know it. Emma and Charlotte strategize to figure out how they are finally going to get into Dalton's lab and see what he's really been up to.

Emma also has an encounter with Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) and it doesn't go well at all. Britt assures Emma they will not be working together. Britt is the researcher and it's Emma's job to just do Dalton's office and clerical work. Emma doesn't take kindly to that and realizes that Britt is going to be an obstacle. Britt might start thinking the same thing about Emma.
