The truth about what happened to Sam (Kelly Monaco) comes back into focus this week as we appear to get flashbacks of a mysterious someone injecting Digitalis into Sam's I.V. when she was recovering from the transplant surgery. With Dex questioning Cyrus (Jeff Kober) about that night, is that why he ends up getting stabbed? Cyrus swears he wasn't at GH visiting Lulu the night Sam died, but it's rare when Cyrus is telling the whole truth.

Dex is standing by a trash can in Rice Plaza when someone plunges a knife into him. Does someone then try to inject Digitalis into Dex's I.V. when he gets to the hospital? If Dex was getting too close to the truth, that would be one way to stop him. But is Cyrus the culprit, or is that way too obvious? It would also appear that there might be a serial killer loose in Port Charles.
The Quartermaine holiday bash
The Quartermaines throw an early Christmas party for their friends and family, with an odd combination of guests, including Carly (Laura Wright), Josslyn (Eden McCoy), and Nina. Expect the humor and chaos that we missed at Thanksgiving, considering Port Charles forgot the holiday happened this year.
Will Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) burn the ham instead of the turkey? Do Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) and Lois (Rena Sofer) take over in the kitchen and cook up a Brooklyn Italian feast?
Expect a shocker for the guests as it looks like Michael (Chad Duell) gets his sweet revenge. With Drew (Cameron Mathison) yelling to turn something off and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) appearing mortified, Michael might provide his family and friends with quite a holiday show.
Either way, the night is not going to end well, especially when everyone hears the news about Dex. Josslyn is understandably beside herself as she gets this life-changing news. She rushes to the hospital, but is it too late? Josslyn already lost her first love as a teenager when Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt) died from brain cancer. Will she lose Dex, too, and regret the months they spent apart this year? Stay tuned to find out.
