The week starts out with a catfight in Carly's (Laura Wright) living room (which is probably safer than a catfight in Carly's kitchen). It looks like the detente between Carly and Nina (Cynthia Watros) is finally over, and the Granny Wars are back stronger than ever before.

Nina can't listen to Carly badmouth her daughters anymore and finally loses it. She takes a swing at Carly that turns into so much more. Sonny's (Maurice Benard) two ex-wives roll around on the couch and the floor in a violent tussle. Who will walk in to break up this little catfight? (Honestly, we've been waiting years for this, so let them do their thing.)

Now, for a four-day musical interlude

By Tuesday, the Nurses' Ball finally begins with secrets set to explode all over Port Charles, but will any be exposed at the big ball?

Lois (Rena Sofer) looks alarmed when Gio (Giovanni Mazza) gets up on stage and announces he is going to do something he has never done before. Ned (Wally Kurth) also looks like he is in a state of shock.

Could the Gio secret be exposed at the ball? Imagine Tracy's (Jane Elliot) shock upon learning her great-grandson has been living with her for a year. Lulu (Alexa Havins) is ready to rock everyone's world with this news and just might pick a public place to do it.

A shocker for Drillow?

You'll also see a surprise guest at the ball. With Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) looking like they just saw a ghost, could Michael arrive on time to get ready for his big court date? Sonny looks like he also sees a big surprise.

Drew and Nina will be hosting the red carpet festivities. Drew thinks this will earn him respectability again, but he is holding onto too many secrets that could explode at the ball.

Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is underwriting the entire big night and is keeping an eye on everything going on, while Jordan (Tanisha Harper) keeps an eye on him. Does he orchestrate something that will surprise everyone? There has to be a reason he decided to write that big, fat check.
