What to expect on General Hospital

It's been quite a week for Laura Collins (Genie Francis). She was all ready for her mayoral debate until Professor Dalton (Daniel Goddard) came barreling into the debate area with Rocco (Finn Carr), demanding that her grandson be arrested.

This week, Laura does her best to help Rocco out of his sticky situation — on Election Day. That's right. Port Charles is choosing a mayor, while also deciding if Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) gets to keep his piers. Laura finally learns the results, but that's not her only shock this week.

When Laura is driving along, she seems to come upon something horrifying and screams bloody murder. Does that mean she finds a dead body? Who might Sidwell (Carlo Rota) off now? He already knows that Professor Dalton (Daniel Goddard) is trouble. Hmmm...

Saving Rocco

While Port Charles votes, Rocco's family has to rally around the teenager and figure out how to get him out of this major mess. Sonny is furious with Justine (Nazneen Contractor) for seemingly taking glee in prosecuting a child.

Sonny tells Justine that they both know that Dalton is framing Rocco to make some sort of example of him — even after Sidwell told him to back off. Sidwell does not seem like a happy man in a voiceover. Again, it looks like Dalton is going to have some trouble after what he did to Rocco.

Chase gets to the truth

As Michael (Rory Gibson) continues to wine and dine Jacinda (Paige Herschell), he also seems to be falling for her. But, he had better not get too comfortable because Chase (Josh Swickard) has been doing some digging.

The detective goes to Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and tells her that Michael faked his alibi and he can prove it. Does he learn that Jacinda was with a client when she claimed to have been with Michael?

Michael made Jacinda swear that his alibi would be airtight. Jacinda might have to give up her new cushy deal now that the truth is out. However, she might be more upset about having to give up Michael.
