General Hospital actress Nancy Lee Grahn, who plays Alexis, isn't the only Port Charles player who's singing the praises of the ABC soap opera. Finola Hughes is also speaking out on just how special GH is to her.

"Not sure I can express how much I love @generalhospitalabc," Hughes posted on Instagram along with a series of photos she found on a co-star's account from the recent Daytime Emmys on October 17.

"This is such a beautiful moment for the show to be recognised for writing, costume, directing & drama series," Hughes continued, "and of course @nancyleegrahn @jonathanjacksonhq & #alleymills for killing it in the acting department!!!

"Congratulations, everyone, love you all to the moon and back 💕💕💕💕 (All pics courtesy of @welcometolaurasworld," [AKA Laura Wright, who plays Carly].

"GH Baby !!!!!!! Love you xoxoxox," enthused Wright. Added Cameron Mathison (Drew): "❤️❤️❤️."

GH cleaned up at the 52nd Annual Daytime Emmys earlier this month. The show, for the second year in a row, took home statuettes in the categories of Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Drama Series Writing Team, Outstanding Drama Series Directing Team, and four other categories. Check out Soap Central's complete list of Daytime Winners here.

GH submitted episodes in which Kristina (Kate Mansi) fell out of Ava's (Maura West) hotel window at the Metro Court and landed in the pool, and also, Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn's (Amanda Setton) wedding. The contrast between the two enabled GH to win in numerous categories.

Hughes took home a Daytime Emmy herself in 1991 in the category of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. This year, she's celebrating her 40th year as superspy Anna Devane, who was Robert Scorpio's (the late Tristan Rogers) first wife.

The arrival of Robert and Anna's daughter, Robin (Kimberly McCullough), put a pin in Robert joining Holly (Emma Samms) in Australia back in the mid-1980s. For years, Robert and Anna engaged in secret agent missions, eventually tying the knot in 1991. They were presumed dead in 1992. Three years later, Hughes and Rogers reprised their roles as figments of Robin's imagination after she'd been diagnosed HIV-positive.

Hughes popped up on GH sister soap, All My Children, as Alex Devane, Anna's twin, before she returned to Port Charles.
